Square Enix Sucks at Alluding to Future Games

Posted

They really put no regard into which console what is one. Think about it:

KH1- Leads into a GBA game, secret ending leads into a DS game

CoM- Leads into a PS2 game

KH2- Leads into a DS game, secret ending alludes to a PSP game

Days- Leads into a PS2 game

Birth By Sleep- Leads into a PS2 game, secret ending alludes to a 3DS game

Re:Coded- Leads into a 3DS game, secret endings also alludes to 3DS game (What was the point of that again?)

DDD- Leads into KH3, whatever console THAT'S on.

I mean, what's the point in advertising for a console owned by an entirely separate company? Nearly every game leads into a game for a dramatically different console than the one advertising it, and not a single one alludes to a game for the SAME console as it is already on.

Seems kinda silly, don't you think?

I don't care as long as it's KH. Keep the good work Nomura! *thumbs up*

It's about time we should stop complaining and enjoy things for once. People should realize that they by keeping overthinking and raging on something won't change reality, not even the slightest part. If you don't like it don't play it, there are more games than you can imagine. Correct me if I am wrong on anything I said. And sorry if I sounded harsh.

But you have a point I must admit. Doing prequels and leaving gaps can be confusing but Nomura intends that, he wants us to try and imagine the gap. And to be honest, that can be tons of fun when you play the game and get shocked from what ACTUALLY happened. So what you are trying to complain about is the beauty of it, so it's not silly at all.

No, it is not silly for reasons already explained.

I agree, its just money making to make ONE serie to over 9000 consoles I say.

i think secret ending of kh was directed towards ps2 and not ds because the ds wasn't even out yet.

Well, if you think about Re:CoM, that fixes it. KH1 leads into a PS2 game and alludes to a PS2 game since the secret ending was meant more for KH2 than Days, just look at the non Riku vs Roxas scenes. And then Re:CoM leads into another PS2 game, KH2.

Oh, I'm not complaining about the games be released for too many consoles or anything. You'd just think Square Enix would want to advertise for games that the person viewing said advertisement would be likely to buy. And I wonder what Nintendo and Sony think of Square Enix constantly advertising other consoles?

I do love all these inbetween stories and what the story of Kingdom Hearts has shaped into, but I do agree that it's a little bit silly to be spreading out the series over so many consoles.
