Did Aaron Spann, Joshua's English voice actor in The World Ends with You, voice Joshua in Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance? It does not sound like the same voice actor!!

I wouldn't judge voices too much if they only say one line. In that particular line, he is raising his voice higher to add emphasis. He won't be talking that high the entire time. But keep in mind, not only have we not heard long lines from him, but the DS also killed the sound quality versus the trailer. I don't know if the speaker quality is closer to a computer speaker in the 3DS, but it may end up sounding closer to home coming from a console.

How is this a 'problem'? Why would they 'fix' it?

He sounds like that in TWEWY.

It's just his voice.

Live with it.

I've played twewy and joush's voice sounds way more like a boy.By the way twewy you is awesome and no, I didn't play after i heard about in kh 3d.

Some guys sound girly, what's the problem?

It's just that he sounds a little deeper in TWEWY. After rewatching the line several times in a row, he sounds to me like a young boy than the teenager he sounds like in TWEWY.

Imo, he sounds like a geeky adolescent. If he sounded deeper in TWEWY it was most likely due to the crappy speakers and sound system the ds had.

He sounds effeminate because because he ACTS very effeminate, and looks very effeminate, and is very effeminate. Throughout the game, he is either effeminate because he acts like a rich boy, and doesn't want to get his hands dirty, and also when he acts ambiguously gay. It sort of seems like he does this just to troll the cast of TWEWY. There are reasons for why he does everything he does, but it's also just sort of his personality. He's very flippant.

And Matthew, you should not judge a character as sounding 'wrong' if you haven't played the game they originate from.

Touche. One thing that doesn't help is that we are all used to deeper voices.I guess Joshua's voice just takes some getting used to! And man speaking of TWEWY,I've GOTTA play that game before KH 3D comes out so that I know everyone's personalities! Plus,as I have heard,TWEWY is just plainly a GREAT GAME!

Just gonna warn you, their personalities probably aren't going to be much like they are in TWEWY, if for no other reason than that TWEWY is reated T, and DDD is rated E10

I respectfully disagree with you. From the trailers, Neku and Beat seem to the same personalities as in TWEWY. Rhyme seems kind of lost like in TWEWY because her memories of Beat were take as Beat's entry fee. I can't make the same judgement about Shiki and Joshua, though.

They sounds a depressed gay :( (or girl)

There's nothing wrong with being gay and don't use the word 'gay' as an insult or a bad thing, that's homophobic.

I actually don't mind Joshua's voice. There are lot of different voices in the world and guys with high voices are natural. It's called being a tenor. And honestly I think it kind of fits him.

Uh ok lol. I'll just play TWEWY and see who has the same personalities in TWEWY. Although just from the trailers shown so far I cannot gather TOO much as to WHAT their personalities are. Just that Beat is protective of Rhyme, and that Joshua has a... I can't really discribe HIS personality but I can gather a distinct personality from him.
