No Kingdom Hearts HD collection at E3

Posted

Well as the E3 is now coming to an end and even the Kingdom Hearts 3D talk is also done and nothing about the HD collection is mentioned so that means the rumour was not true http://kh13.com/forum/public/style_emoticons/default/smiley-cry.png.

But I am guessing it is possible to hear about this HD collection at TGS because this is the place where Final Fantasy X HD was announced.

It always was just a fake rumour. 358/2 Days being included just made the creator of the rumour look funny.

September is the actual month of the 10th anniversary of Kingdom Hearts. So if we get any announcements this year, I would expect them there. At this point It could be assumed that the HD collection (if it's real) would be announced there. And being the 10th anniversary, maybe they will be cool and officially announce KH3 and its system(s)

September is only the anniversary on North America.

That is true. but they didn't announce any new games for the japanese anniversary month. So maybe they will use ours instead.

Well who knows, maybe it is true and they decided not to tell us yet at E3 and wait for a later time. But hey, there is TGS and Comic Con.

Fake rumor is obvious. Especially with Days, they would have to completely remake the game from the engine up to put it on any other system. We at least know they are researching the technology.

It wasn't even remotely believable. To think that they would remake ALL those games? Especially 358/2 Days? Come on.....

My hopes were up but oh well...

I'm surprised that they didn't show anything about FFX HD at E3. It's coming out this year, right? It would make sense for them to release it for the 25th anniversary, but Square Enix logic doesn't always make sense.

Is the game really releasing this year? I doubt it.

They said it was releasing in 2012 sometime. Nothing has been said since then though xD

And that's exactly what Square Enix is good at. Delaying stuff.

Guess I need a refresher, but when was it the last time an HD collection was announced at E3?

3D just released and the other games are new enough that a remaster wasn't needed. Maybe after KH3 they might release it, a complete collection of the MX saga.
