All of them a bit, but I think that the characters and story are the ones that can make up my mind...

    I don't care which game company worked on a game or what kind of graphics it has as long as the story and gameplay is good.

    Story above everything. Characters... I can't say you can learn much abt them without getting spoiled before you play so they are important but I get to know that after I have played enough of the game xD Graphics was a factor as well but then I kinda got used to lower graphics like ff7. If the story is good, idm the graphics xD Gameplay... I rly don't mind as long it's not something I hate xD

    mostly on gameplay and secondly on the story. graphics don't pretty much make any difference if I think that am I going to buy a game (unless the game has too good graphics for my computer of course). in S.T.A.L.K.E.R. games I don't really care about the story, the gameplay itself is fun. Kingdom Hearts: Chain Of Memories I'm playing only because of the story (if it was a different game with same fighting mechanism [or what ever it is called] I probably wouldn't play it). mostly all the games I play have both, good story and gameplay (Half-Life series, Portal games, Metro 2033, Kingdom hearts series [unfortunately excluding KH:COM]...).

    P.S. if someone picks games by the graphics, shame on you!

    tutti frutti. My main things for a game are gameplay and story. Though I'm not too picky in these next two, graphics and characters, they do have a solid impact on the game itself.

    Always the characters and story. Sometimes graphics but if I saw anything done by Square Enix then I would get it. I was won over by Cloud, Aerith and Zack in FFVII and then Dissidia was good with the storyline so it depends
