LordOfTheCastle 92 Posted September 26, 2012 Guys, he's Riku. How hard do you expect him to be? Uhhh... o.O I'll just leave this here... Anyway, the point was that Roxas was too much for Riku, thats why he had to become Ansem to defeat him. Basically, Roxas was Riku's final boss, not the other way around ^^ Also, on another note, one thing that the game did (at least to me) was make that part kind of painful. I mean, Xion JUST died, and I was still very upset from that whole part of the game, but then the game wanted me to keep playing. It was sort of a "can't you see I'm crying here" kind of moment for me. 1 Weedanort reacted to this
Columned-Munny 274 Posted October 7, 2012 I saw Xion as the game's final boss, with the Riku fight being more of an epilogue than the ultimate challenge.
xoblivionx13 1,133 Posted October 7, 2012 (edited) Actually when I clicked on the topic I had Xion in mind, then I saw Riku.....so I guess to me Xion is the final boss Riku does make a loyal friend fetcher boss though. While it was kinda disappointing to fight an easy battle with Riku, it's to show how much stronger Roxas became...I mean he's weilding 2 stinking Keyblades that are powerful...Oathkeeper and Oblivion. I wouldn't want to mess with those O__o Besides, Riku becomes Ansem to defeat Roxas in one blow....or I guess squish since he cut off his air It showed how Riku still needed Darkness in order to bring Roxas back as well as maintain a sort of balance with his powers....his control over Darkness is what makes him stronger. For me, ending the game that way made it memorable and made me feel the pain Roxas has, fighting for his friends and a normal life he'll never have. It would've been pretty cool to fight Riku as Ansem with the Guardian and have Roxas end that way. Edited October 7, 2012 by xoblivionx13
