RP Background

Before there were heartless. Before there were nobodies. There were the keyblade-wielders. With power unparalleled in combat, and the abilities to wield great strength, these lucky few were the ones entrusted with keeping the world safe. Many followed the way of light, using it to their advantage in a quest to help people. But a growing number are beginning to realize that it's not the only way. Some are utilizing a darkness, long since locked away, and reaching potential thought impossible by the ways of light. To them, the power is worth it, to help those they cherish or gain selfish power for themselves. Either for good reasons or bad, some are turning to the ways of darkness, and their rate is growing at an unnerving speed.

War seems inevitable. In this time there is a king of all worlds; long before Mickey came to rule. He (or she depending on gender, see below) has seen the growing tide of dark influences, and the unrest it has caused with the followers of light. So the king has called forth all the great Keyblade Masters to the caslte, and in their wake come students and other such keyblade wielders as well, in hopes to quell the unrest, and settle the matter between the two factions. But we all know that such a thing won't come to pass. War will happen, the attempts of the king, whether it is to restore light or to simply bring peace even with the acceptance of darkness, will in the end be nothing. But still, it must be attempted. Still, something must be done. For however this keyblade war will end, those who are part of it must fight for what they believe in with all their might, for it is their determination that shall pave the way to the future of all worlds.

 

 

Outline of RP

The RP begins in the Castle of All Worlds, what will later be known as Disney Castle. All of your characters will be there for one reason or another; perhaps they are a keyblade master who has gained great respect over a long career, or perhaps just a student who has come along with their master or came without invitation to simply see what was going on. And of course, anywhere in between. Be creative. The position of the King or Queen will be one I hope one of you will fill. I will allow the first submission looking to be King or Queen to get the position as long as their sign up form is accepted. From there on, whether you are King, Master, student, or anything in between, you must choose where you stand on the light/dark spectrum, from a steadfast supporter of the ways of light, or someone who's found their way into darkness, or perhaps in the process of deciding. Remember all this when going forward, and thanks for reading all this, so just read the rules, fill out the sign up form, and let's get this RP going!

 

Rules:

-One Character per person, this is so you get invested in your single character and interactions with other RPers, as opposed to just trying to make your own mini-story with a bunch of your own characters. You are allowed to create some action and dialogue for minor characters around you, though.

 

-Do your very best to stay with the RP. If you sign up, please don't abandon it, I'd love to see an ending to whatever story we all tell together. This is especially true for the person who will become King or Queen.

 

-Try to spell as best you can, proper grammar would also be appreciated as well as you can provide it.

 

-This is not your story alone. Create as fleshed out a character as you can, but remember that your interaction with others is where the magic happens, so try to stay involved with others as well.

 

-No unreasonably powerful abilities, or god-modding. I will hold you to the abilities you list on your character form, that is how I'll decide whether they are reasonable enough for the RP.

 

-Intricate planning and twists are allowed and encouraged, I suggest using messaging with the other players involved to plan it out. Make the story as interesting as possible.

Without a word, Juno tucked the letter into her robes. She stood without looking to either Lexia or Evan, silently returning to the manor. She found an empty room, sitting down before puling the piece of paper out. She turned the folded letter in her hands a few times, finaly sumoning the courage to open it. A small part of her laughed when she saw it. She could never read Saez's handwriting, but his meaning was clear. The pit-pat of tears falling on the parchment broke the silence before she dropped the letter on the table. So that's how it was going to be. Lost in the confusion of her mind, Juno never heard the door open. She didn't notice anything outside of the letter until she saw the white-clad figure in front of her. She looked up as Jericho slipped the letter into his robes, offering his apprentice his hand. With a deep breath she took it, master and apprentice heading to the library, Jericho locking the door behind them.

Before Rexon could help Zanox, he felt a familiar presence. Alert he thinks: That presence, it was King Saez! Glad to know he's still alive, but why does he have so much darkness? Does he really think that much is necessary to finally beat Axus? Did he lose the first fight? With all this dark crud going on, we're going to need extra help. I have a feeling Axus is working with more than just dark corrupted Keyblade wielders.

Sephiroth (from FF7) walked down to the place that Saez was located. His mission was to bring Saez to Axus. He spotted Saez went up to him. "Are you ready to go? King Axus is waiting for you," Sephiroth spoke. Sephiroth opened a portal. "It takes you exactly to where the King is located. However, you must have a considerable amount of darkness within you. If you don't, the portal itself will swallow you up and turn you into nothing but floating darkness," Sephiroth said as he stepped in and held his hand out for Saez. "Come my brother in the realms of darkness. We have much to do," Sephiroth said.

"King Axus, eh?" The assassin wielded darkness unlike anything Saez had seen. Perhaps this could be the key to growing stronger. Whether it be working with him or taking the power from him by force. It was worth investigating at least. Saez gave one last thought to Juno, Lexia, and the rest, but then he breathed in and stepped through the portal.

 

He appeared somewhere that felt both familiar and foreign. He'd made it through, though he expected to at his level, his power of darkness had only become greater and greater. Axus stood before him. He recognized the powerful aura. He wondered how another battle would turn out if it had been fought to the end, but he pushed the thought aside. For now it was time to hear him out.

 

"Axus." Saez stated in a dry, to-the-point tone. "You were looking for me?"

(I'll use this as a general recap for anyone confused.

 

RECAP

 

Since the destruction of the Castle of All Worlds, most people have met up at Suzia's mansion. Rexon followed Zanox to the location of a certain professor, and rescued him from the professor's clutched and brought him to Suzia's as well. Axus has been journeying to varying worlds, and meeting with his subordinates to go forward with some sort of plan it would seem, whereas Saez has been going from world to world gathering dark power until he finally returned to Suzia's mansion to say goodbye to Juno. Zanox's professor enemy follow Rexon and Zanox to the mansion and made himself look like Zanox, so Rexon can't tell the difference. Evan has also just arrived at the mansion, where Saez has just left Lamia and Juno after saying goodbye.

 

At this point almost all wielders and masters are the mansion itself somewhere: Lamia is in the garden where Evan still is, somewhere nearby outside, Zanox, the professor (who goes by Zanix) and Rexon are all fighting, and inside is Juno who's finished reading a letter, now joined by he master Jericho, and her two apprentices: Nathan, a more pure-hearted apprentice, and Eugene, one who is fighting darkness within him. Keyblade Master Sekai has recently arrived too, she follows darkness, and doesn't find it to be as bad as many of the light masters seem to think. She has just spoken with Eugene and asked him to come outside with her and show her his skill set, as she seems to be contemplating training him as well.

 

Saez, after saying goodbye to the three wielders in the garden, as now just taken a portal to see Axus, to see what proposition the dark assassin may give him. So that about sums it up: almost all masters and wielders are at the mansion. Only Rexon, and Zanox are involved in a battle at the moment, and Axus and Saez are off-world in a different place entirely.

 

Overall, I may do these recaps every few pages so everyone stays caught up, but that's where we are right now)

"Don't say it like that! Today we are brothers! Here have a drink!" Axus said as he gave Saez a cup of wine that he got from the shop. Axus guided Saez under the shade of a tree. "How have you been? I can sense that you have turned to the darkness," Axus said as he drank his cup of wine.

Lamia walked inside, looking at Juno. "Hey, are you sure your okay?" she asked worried, felling weird in the house, wanting to help the others.

(Guys, sorry I haven't posted in the last 2 days. I've had hours upon hours of homework to do, and now thankfully, I caught up.)

 

"So you want me to show you what I can do from strongest to weakness, that sounds easy enough, you'd better get yourself prepared for what's going to happen next." Eugene said to Master Sekai. Darkness then covered his entire body, and his keyblade as he started to charge up. Once Eugene had charged up enough, and he his keyblade started to glow and he pointed his keyblade at Sekai. He then shouted, "DARK FIRADAGA!!!!!" His keyblade shot out a powerful attack of a combination of both firaga and thundaga. The attack headed towards Sekai at a very fast speed.

"I have turned to power. It comes in the form of darkness, it is what it is. Power to create, save, build, do whatever it is we want. In the end that's what we should have been striving for since the very beginning." Saez swirled the wine in the cup, observing it, then he placed it down. "You'll have to forgive me, I'm not much of a connoisseur." Saez held up his hand and looked it over as darkness swelled around it in a powerful aura.

 

"So tell me, Axus. What did you call me here for. I know your a powerful wielder, in fact your powerful friend called you a King. So what do you need of me and my powers. And why should I be interested in giving them to you?"

Juno sat outside the library as Lamia approached. She had stopped crying now, the only clues to such activity being tiny streaks of black just below her eyes. She gave the student a slight smile. "I'm fine. Thank you, Lamia. I'm just..." She paused, staring out into nothing. "Thinking about what needs to be done next." Juno stopped talking, leaving an air of silence between them before abruptly stating "I may need to leave for a while. I have... business... to attend to. If I do, I want you and th eother students to report to Master Sekai or Jericho." She turned back to Lamia. "Understood?"

Lamia nodded, realizing how exosited she was. "Understood." she said, walking to the halls.

"Ah that's very good. You're learning some of the ways of darkness. But You're interested in power. I can you that if you're ready to handle it. You see, I'm not power hungry like other wielders. I am much more complex than that. I'd like to call myself an ideal of darkness because I control darkness as if it were my body. I don't really require a keyblade. I am a King, yes. However, I cannot yet tell you more than that," Axus spoke as he finished the last of his wine. "I don't need much from you to finish my plans, but I'm interested in what your quest for power would take you. So what will you do my friend," Axus asked.

Sekai watched as the attack flew towards her. 'Crud. This kid is way more powerful than I originally thought.' She performed Drain on a little bit of the attack, then let it hit her shield. The attack was blocked, but her shield was broken in the process. "I could've sworn I said weakest to strongest." Sekai called out to Eugene, smiling. Walking towards the dark student, she spoke to him again. "That's all I'll need to see. I might just have to take you in myself. Let's go back inside let me hear your story. How you got your keyblade and powers. Alright?" Sekai didn't wait for an answer. She walked inside and waited. The kid definitely had potential, but he hadn't exploited it yet. Darkness was a tricky thing to work with. Trying to advance too much at once could get you saturated and possessed.

Possessor was about to go back to Zanix, but remembered that Rexon blew his cover, so he stayed in his Assassin form. Zanox quickly jumped and stabbed Possessor.

Rexon: "I'm right behind you Zanox!" Rexon dashes and stabs possesor in the back, making a pincer manuever.

Possessor destroyed into 13 pieces. He fled into a portal back to the floating ruins. "Nice job!" Zanox told Rexon, but he knew Possessor wouldn't give up that easy. He had to make sure they were ready.

"You may be surprised in what I've already done. You've certainly got quite the army, but I've taken some time to travel the worlds, originally just trying to gain power for myself, but realizing how many prospects seek the power that you have. I've gained a small following myself. Soon, we shall find the followers of the light and convince them of the power darkness. If they do not listen, I have force, and if not that, I have a very special back-up plan just in case. I can't help but feel that you've been constructing plans yourself, care to explain? Light wielders are not easy to convince that their power is only a fraction of what it could be, that their control could be on a whole other level. I should know, I used to be one."

aw well... looks like time to go. Evan said as he looks to Lamia getting inside the mansion. - "The worlds are changing so fast .. i can feeling that. But now what will happen? ligth is getting weaker and weaker... and then Axus.. triyng to make his forces stronger... mmm i wonder if the "puppetmaster" is gonna show himself sometime ". He was thinking when he sees a explosion coming near the mansion.- Now what! Teleport!- Esclaim evan as he travels to that place.

 

Evan appeared just in middle of conflict... two beares were fighting a dark one.. two of them looking the same. Evan summons his blade, and goes to help them. - but as he gets closer to them the one dark broke into pieces. -Hey! are you ok? exclaimed.

Rexon, watching possesor leave says: "I know it's not over yet, but how about we get help from some of the other wielders?"

"What? We're fine! Just not for long." Zanox called. "That guy is my rival now, somehow. His name is possessor i think. I''m sure he's about to have one last plan. " As soon as Zanox finished, Possessor out from a portal and pushed Zanox on his back. "Don't tell me you're trying to get rd of me again?" "Nope. I'm going to--" "Hey!" Possessor's spear arms grabbed Zanox and threw him in the cell he was in earlier. "What are you doing now, Possessor?" Zanox asked.

Rexon, crossing his arms says: "You definetly have an obsession, extreme possessing wack attack."

"Interesting. It seems like you want them alive but see your point of view. I like that thinking. However, as you said, the Keyblade Wielders have a strong resolve so they will not waver easily. I'll destroy them if that would be the case," Axus said as he summoned the Core Of All Worlds. "Here is the location of the Keyblade Wielders. My army has currently taken over the worlds surrounding that place and the space in between. I've also sent a dark circle above and below the world. It would take about two more days for it to be big enough to lock the world in darkness. That will be checkmate. I have lots of plans if this fails," Axus said as he let Saez look at the location.

"That's not what i'm doing!" Possessor called. "What are you doing?" Zanox asked. "Just, this!" "What do you mea---Ah!" Zanox yelled as he grabbed his stomach. "I need your heart for one thing." "W-w-what's that?" "For my plan!" Possessor said as he transformed into a large dragon with wings, entirely made out of darkness, teeth, tail, wings and all!" Zanox clutched his heart, and fell to the ground silently without a word, or even moving.

Rexon, with a shocked look on his face shouts: "Zanox!", and makes a hard tackle at Possesor, forcing him to drop Zanox's heart back to him.
