RP Background

Before there were heartless. Before there were nobodies. There were the keyblade-wielders. With power unparalleled in combat, and the abilities to wield great strength, these lucky few were the ones entrusted with keeping the world safe. Many followed the way of light, using it to their advantage in a quest to help people. But a growing number are beginning to realize that it's not the only way. Some are utilizing a darkness, long since locked away, and reaching potential thought impossible by the ways of light. To them, the power is worth it, to help those they cherish or gain selfish power for themselves. Either for good reasons or bad, some are turning to the ways of darkness, and their rate is growing at an unnerving speed.

War seems inevitable. In this time there is a king of all worlds; long before Mickey came to rule. He (or she depending on gender, see below) has seen the growing tide of dark influences, and the unrest it has caused with the followers of light. So the king has called forth all the great Keyblade Masters to the caslte, and in their wake come students and other such keyblade wielders as well, in hopes to quell the unrest, and settle the matter between the two factions. But we all know that such a thing won't come to pass. War will happen, the attempts of the king, whether it is to restore light or to simply bring peace even with the acceptance of darkness, will in the end be nothing. But still, it must be attempted. Still, something must be done. For however this keyblade war will end, those who are part of it must fight for what they believe in with all their might, for it is their determination that shall pave the way to the future of all worlds.

 

 

Outline of RP

The RP begins in the Castle of All Worlds, what will later be known as Disney Castle. All of your characters will be there for one reason or another; perhaps they are a keyblade master who has gained great respect over a long career, or perhaps just a student who has come along with their master or came without invitation to simply see what was going on. And of course, anywhere in between. Be creative. The position of the King or Queen will be one I hope one of you will fill. I will allow the first submission looking to be King or Queen to get the position as long as their sign up form is accepted. From there on, whether you are King, Master, student, or anything in between, you must choose where you stand on the light/dark spectrum, from a steadfast supporter of the ways of light, or someone who's found their way into darkness, or perhaps in the process of deciding. Remember all this when going forward, and thanks for reading all this, so just read the rules, fill out the sign up form, and let's get this RP going!

 

Rules:

-One Character per person, this is so you get invested in your single character and interactions with other RPers, as opposed to just trying to make your own mini-story with a bunch of your own characters. You are allowed to create some action and dialogue for minor characters around you, though.

 

-Do your very best to stay with the RP. If you sign up, please don't abandon it, I'd love to see an ending to whatever story we all tell together. This is especially true for the person who will become King or Queen.

 

-Try to spell as best you can, proper grammar would also be appreciated as well as you can provide it.

 

-This is not your story alone. Create as fleshed out a character as you can, but remember that your interaction with others is where the magic happens, so try to stay involved with others as well.

 

-No unreasonably powerful abilities, or god-modding. I will hold you to the abilities you list on your character form, that is how I'll decide whether they are reasonable enough for the RP.

 

-Intricate planning and twists are allowed and encouraged, I suggest using messaging with the other players involved to plan it out. Make the story as interesting as possible.

"Your right we must do something, and if war is what we need then lets do it. I'm just saying before we start bloodshed we need to look at all of our options. Maybe war isn't something we need maybe they are options that we could do that might make the darkness change thier mind about light, but I completly agree with you, Saez, lets stop sitting around waiting for some catastrophe to happen lets do something about the darkness!"

Rexon looks around himself, seeing some wielders sparring. He walks to the center of the courtyard with his arms crossed and eyes closed while thinking: 'Seems like some wielders already have partners. Either I wait for an honorable one or just find an ordinary wielder.'

"I think what we need to be th-"

 

A huge explosive sound occurred outside in the courtyard. From the windows of the throne room, Saez could see a sizable pitch-black portal setting in the center of the courtyard, students were running from it, and then about a dozen or so figures appeared from it, they seemed to be completely engulfed by darkness, and no human characteristics could be seen.

 

"No... not here."

 

He looked up at the masters. "Meeting adjourned, we'll get back to this later! All of you, find your students, make sure they are safe, if they are, help me deal with... those things!"

 

Saez leaped over his throne and jolted towards the door. Ultima Weapon appeared in his and and he slammed into the door, it burst open into the courtyard, where the figures had begun to search for targets. The portal behind them closed. Some dark wielders let themselves become overcome, 'Damn it!' he thought 'I shouldn't have let everyone know about this meeting, I should have known one or two wielders would be too far gone to even want to talk about it.'

 

"Let's move it people!' He dove towards one.

 

For the moment, the peace talks were over.

Rexon quickly jumped back from the portal and summons his Shining Truth keyblade and blocks an attack while shoutint: "What the, a sneak attack?! Who are these people?!?"

Juno calmly rose from her seat, the Saint Cross dragging across the floor behind her. These beings of the dark-

 

No. They were Keyblade weilders. They were people. But they still had to be stopped. Juno threw herself out the door, raising her Keyblade above her head. It flashed with a brilliant light as a concussive blast fired outward in all directions. A good warrior knew how to use each of their techniques in various ways. A lesson she made sure to teach. Juno dashed past one of the dark figures, ignoring it as she headed straight for Nathan. As soon as her apprentice was safe, she could begin to deal with these invaders.

 

"Nathan." Juno checked around her before kneeling down. "We have to get you and the other students somewhere safe. Let us handle this. Please, don't put yourself in danger."

Lamia did as told, blocking attacks, defeating some dark wielders. "Why all the sudden a sneak attack?" she asked silently to herself.

Anya leaped away from the strange newcomers in surprise. She whipped out her Keyblade, holding it out in a defensive postition. "Looks like there'll be more than just a sparring competition today." she muttered. Anya blocked the attacks from the dark strangers, defending herself well. Each one either seemed to be bored with her and moved on, or realized they couldn't find any weak points and searched for a different target. Who are they?!

Nathan reacted fast on explosion and then felt lots of powerful dark auras. "This is bad, this surely will kill the peace talks" Nathan thought and summoned rainfall and then shouted: "All younger students go inside building and wait your masters! Anyone who can put defences up shall join me!"

Nathan tried to take charge of panicing appereantices and showed way for younger people.

 

Then his master appeared and Nathan said: "I understand master, but please understand: I can handle myself, even though I'm just appereantice doesn't mean that I can't be any help"

Lexia was listening intently when she heard and huge rumbling sound that shook the throne room. Saez looking worried barked out orders for us to find our apprentices and help him fight the things coming out of the portal. Lexia hurried out the room followed by Juno. "Anya, Anya where are you!" Lexia cried prepared to use her special healing ability on anyone she encountered who was hurt by the portals sudden explostion. While she was searching for Anya she was intently trying to focus on the beings that came out of the portal's aura. They are strong. They seem engulfed in darkness. Not easy opponents.

Rexon made a horizontal slash at the three intruders heading towards him, dashes to the right to dodge a swipe, and power blocks another attack. Rexon: 'These people are decently strong, but it's not enough to keep me down!!' Rexon jumps back, holds his keyblade with both hands and begins charging electricity.

Saez jumped towards the nearest black figure. From what Saez could tell the being had once been a keyblade wielder, but whoever it used to be, what it was now could barely be considered human, it's heart had been corrupted to the fullest. Seaz's first blow was checked expertly byt the being, but it didn't see the kick coming. It flew a few feet ahead and Saez was quick to cast Firaga on it. He launched towards it and slashed down, and once again it parried. It took a step back and blocked the first firaga blast, then it jumped and spun in the air dodging the second. Seaz pushed off the ground and met it in mid air, and suddenly they began trading a flurry of blows and parrying each others in turn. When they both landed, it took a moment to rest, but the wrong moment.

 

Saez's Firaga spell cast three blasts, not two.

 

The last blast slmmed into its face, and it shot across the courtyard. In a moment Saez was standing over it, it now lay on the ground, heavily weakened. For some things, you just have to act, and Saez spun Ultima Weapon until it pointed downward and slammed it into the figure. It dissolved in a black mist. They were skilled, and almost beyond the point of being human. This was darkness taken too far. Saez turned back towards the rest of the courtyard. This had to be finished quickly, and afterward, he wasn't sure if peace with darkness was going to be an option.

Chase watched as the King and others fought the dark weilders."Intresting they've succumb to the darkness granting them new powers and heighten abilities."

Chase said as he analyzed the dark weilders seeking to know what fueled they're darkness also wanting to know how can he obtain a power similar to theirs, but greater than theirs.

"A power that can destroy everything in my wake, or a power to protect everyone!"

"Which ever comes first."Chase joked to himself

Zanox awoke with no one in sight. "Where is everyone?" A voice called. "You're confused." "Huh?" "Join the darkness." "What do you mean? Huh?" The voice stopped. Zanox wasn't sure if he was dreaming or not. "Hmm. I'll never join the darkness, whatever that was about." Zanox walked toward a pond. "Join the darkness." "Get out of my mind!" "If you join it will stop." Zanox ignored. "You'll never become a KeyBlade Master." The voice explained. "What do you mean? How do you now that i failed?" The voice ignored. Zanox just sighed and walked to find a friend. "Never ignore." "Just leave me alone!" "Ignore the light. Become Darkness." "Someone help! Help me! I'm being haunted! Please!"

Lamia heard Zanox and jumped up on the roof. "Be quiet. Don't move. Calm down." she said, calmly not as cold as she has been. "I'm Lamia and one of my abilities can help you. Your going to be okay, just don't say anything, and don't move. But first tell me your name." Lamia demanded to Zanox.

Anya spotted her master coming into the courtyard. After rolling out of the way from an attack, she sprinted over to Lexia. "I'm here, master. I'm fine." she said, answering the silent question she could see in her master's eyes. "What's the plan?"Anya asked.

Rexon heard Zanoxs' shouts, jumps to where he and Lamia are at and says: "What happened here?"

"I would move. One of my abilities is extremely dangerous on my part and If I dont get my ability correct, It could kill me." Lamia said to Rexon.

Rexon: "Well I have something that can provide protection, heal with a cure spell, and I can endure many things."

"I feel like using my ability If thats okay with you...." Lamia smirked, her having Eternal breath at Rexon's neck.

Rexon: "As long as it doesn't kill me it's fine. But to be on the safe side, Overguard!" A barrier shield appears around Rexon while he replies: "Do you want one?"

"Why would I want a barrier?" Lamia asked, looking sharply at Rexon.

"My Name is Zanox. I'm being Haunted by some voice. I Don't know what to do."

Rexon: "To have protection against an attack from dark corrupted lunatics. Hi Zanox, I'm Rexon Wroxx, Rex for short, and what's this about a voice in your head?"

Once Eugene saw that there were enemies to fight, he gave a little chuckle as he said, "I've been waiting to fight someone, now I can fight someone. This is my time to shine." Eugene then summoned his keyblade, and called forth his darkness. He then lunged at one of the mysterious people, and kicked him with all of his might. Eugene then ran towards him, and grabbed him by his head, and slammed his head into the ground. Eugene then proceeded to finish him off by shooting a dark firaga in his face, but before he did it, Eugene said, "You're finished." Eugene then shot the firaga out of his keyblade making a ten foot hole in the ground.

Rexon hears and sees the dark firaga coimg from Eugene and thinks: 'That guy sure can be ruthless when he wants to be.'
