Is everyone enjoying Dream Drop Distance? It looks like it.

 

I, for one, am cooling my heels on the excitement, and waiting on a decent HD English play through of the game to get excited about (No I do not own the game or a 3DS people. Not made of money....and neither are my parents.)

 

But, hopefully what I'm about to say isn't gonna rain on anyone's parade (I certainly don't wanna be that guy....considering about a week ago everyone hated my guts....)

 

So, Normura has confirmed that after DDD, he feels that Kingdom Hearts should come back to home consoles....meaning consoles like the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and possibly the Wii U.

 

Good....let's just hope that means Kingdom Hearts 3....cause if it doesn't....well....I might feel a little dissapointed.

 

Now, hold on...various people already ready to punch me in the face...just roll with me on this. I love the KH franchise. I really do. There is not another game or game series that I hold more dear to my heart.

 

But.....that doesn't mean I want to see a bajillion (it's a word to ME) more games of it released for more consoles that I don't own.

 

I understand Normura wants to test out the abilties of different consoles to their limits and deliver a game experience that takes you for a ride...which is a nice thought,,,and considering how DDD looks....I'd say mission accomplished. Even the DS games and BBS are pretty good examples.

 

But....that doesn't change the fact that it's time to end the Xehanort Saga, people. Sqeenix is already pissing me off with FFXIII-3....and I don't wanna see KH turn into another frickin cash cow like its big brother.

 

The next KH title should be KH3. If not...Square Enix is officaily crap to me.

Yeah, I agree it should be KH3. Nomura has said it's about time to make the game too. The only question is, when?

well that answer to your question is when FFversus 13 is done which will hopefully done in the nest year or so... and trust me @Friaga96 Square Enix is basically dead to everyone is they come out with another kingdom hearts game that is NOT KH3

All I've got to say, is that SE had better put kh3 on the ps3.

As much as Nintendo wishes, the Wii U will probably never be relevant.

 

That said, I honestly hope KH3 is going to be on the PS3.

BTW, this doesn't mean I loathe games like Days, BBS, or Coded...please don't get that impression. I mean, yeah, the whole console thing was inconvient and stuff....but hey, they were pretty good games, they moved the plot forward....and besides, that's all in the past. Time to look to the future.

yea but wouldnt the graphics be in the way??? I mean the wii U is still like the Wii and is kinda cartoony nd isnt kindom hearts like that??? If they change it to a FF style of graphics it might be a little strange of a transition

It can be on the PS3 and still have the usual KH graphics.

Not all Wii U games are gonna look cartoony, I wouldn't think. Not if they're gonna port Batman and Bioshock, anyway.

HAHA you couldnt be more right! it is frustrating and maybe they need to just end the saga where it 1st began, but only Sqare knows where its going and only time can tell. So the only thing that we can do is just sit back and relax on old kh titles and wait for the new one.......

If they're still trying with the 1 KH a year thing, then we'll most likely find out at TGS. If the next KH isn't KHIII, I'm sure Nomura has a good reason. I'll still like Square-Enix either way. I mean it could be worse. They could be Capcom.

Dude....10 years. Capcom has only BEGUN being douchebags.

I still stand by this opinion even IF there's gonna be HD Collections. Why? Because they don't count as official games anyway....

I'm thinking KHIII probably will be the next game, but I wouldn't be entirely surprised if they decided to release a hand-held where we get to rescue (almost) everybody, the biggest problem with that is I don't know what the majority of the game would be that way, Sora and Co. know the New Organization is out there, Xehanort's a major threat, etc. so they aren't likely to spend as much time drifting from world to world, unless they are trying to find our New Organization.

tutti frutti. I say that it's been too long of a wait for a console version of a KH game to surface. Yeah, the DS games, and BBS, help with the story, but there is only so much backstory that a person can take before they desire the story to continue. I just hope that KH3 is the next game of the series, I can't take much more KH games to where the Xehanort Saga is prolonged.
