Ok, I LOVE knowing little secrets about games, so does anyone have any interesting facts about the games? And please don't troll me with boring facts like "Wisdom form is blue", or "Donald dies in about 5 seconds at the start of all battles" (GIVE HIM ONCE MORE/SECOND CHANCE!), or even "Vanitas looks like Sora" I think a KH fan would already know the obvious facts.

Originally Laguna Loire (from Final Fantasy VIII) was going to be in BbS and in charge of the Mirage Arena, but they just ended up putting him in Dissidia Duodecim instead.

 

Also, Dissidia was originally pitched by Nomura to be a KH game, but the idea was turned down as Disney didn't want their characters fighting.

Since Nomura was beginning to plan Coded, Days, and BBS while KH2 was completing, the shell in the opening that was washed away was most likely put to symbolize Xion.

I'm not sure if this is actually true, but I read somewhere that Axel was originally supposed to die at the end of the Twilight Town tutorial in KH2. But the staff loved him so much that they delayed his death until near the end of the game.

 

In BBS, they made Ventus' face look a little different from Roxas. But they got lazy in DDD and just gave them the same face.

In the beginning of the japanese version of BBS, when Ven was talking to Sora, you can see that on Ven's fingers that he has Roxas's finger straps on him. That happened because they forgot to remove it since it was Roxas's model.

In KH2 they made the face too narrow on Roxas's model. They fixed this in the Final Mix

Before BBS was released, Nomura at first joked and said that he was to voice Vanitas, later he said that Miyo Irino had always wanted to voice a villain and said he may have gotten a little carried away with it.

Also-

Tetsuya Nomura: I wanted to give him a name that meant "empty", and so I looked for something that would be appropriate. When I was searching I found a word that meant "emptiness" in Latin, "Vanitas". It looked a lot like Ventus's name, and in Japanese it has the kanji for "sora" in it, so I thought it was perfect. Of course in Vanitas's case it doesn't mean "sora [sky]" but "kara [empty]" [These two words are written with the same kanji, but are said differently and have different meanings.]

Pride lands was suppoused to be in kh1, axel was originally going to die when Roxas beat him in kh2, and....DANG IT I LOST THE LAST ONE!! Hate it when that happens. You have something in your mind then poof its gone....I'll think of it eventually.

 

 

 

Oh! I remembered! Rikus eyes changed color! From a sea foamy green in kh1 to more of a sky blue. And also, axel was the first character in the kh series to curse. In the gba of COM, he says some thing like, "about time you all gave me one hell of a show!"

In the trailer for KH2, there were Behemoths at the battle of 1000 Heartless. These were (obviously) removed from the final game. It certainly would have made the battle of 1000 Heartless much more interesting though.

The world that never was is based off of new Orleans architecture

- The hero of KH was meant to be either Donald or King Mickey but Nomura decided to make a new hero.- It was planned to put all Org XIII as battles in Olympus Coliseum but was removed later on.

- The secret boss Kurt Zisa in KH1 was named by the name of a person who won in something about KH.- Buzz and Woody were meant to appear in KHIIFM but were removed later.- The Jungle Book world was meant to appear in BBS but also was removed.- Same goes with Pinocchio's world in KHDays

- Leon, Yuffie, Cid and Aerith were planned to be shown in Radiant Garden in BBS but were removed because of the many characters.

- Vencit Valentine was planned to appear in KH1 but was canceled and some of his outfit was taken to Cloud instead.

If I remember correctly, Nomura came up with the idea for Kingdom Hearts coded while being drunk. He presented it to his colleagues as a joke, but as he kept on talking they slowly began to like the idea.

in kingdom hearts 2 when demyx die inthe english version he sey's "Oh nooooo" in japanese he seys "DAMNIT" in the japanese version of re:com vexen frequently seys "ill dissect you" & "FREEZE YOU BASTERD" after freeing namine and after axel confront's marluxia ' marluxia seys "you basterd you dare show you treasonous presence to a god?"
