Well as we know, most members of the organization get their weapons froim when they were somebodies. Such as lexeaus, xaldin and im not sure who else, but probably more. Well axel has chakrams, and he always played frisbee. So thats why axel has chakrams cause they are similar to frisbees.

Yeah, the intrest thing makes sense. Zexion's is probably the most obvious, since he read a lot. So he got that freakin' cool lexicon.

 

As for Marly, I think he might have been a farmer or something like that. A sickle looks somewhat like a scythe. Same idea.

 

Off the side question -> With the casual gear installed and their weapons changed to the funny stuff, I need a little help... I mostly fight as Zexion or Demyx, and while I can easily recognize what Dem-Dem's is supposed to be(who can't?), I'm lost on Zexion's. What is it, a cookbook? A newspaper? A DVD CASE?! Seriously! It's like white with red details. Makes no sense. [it'd be funny if they made to where it looked like a DS on its side. THAT would have been awesome to see Zexy whacking the snot out of some punk Heartless with a Gameboy!]

If I remember correctly, that one was called "Dear Diary", right? It's a laptop. Normally you would keep a diary in a book, but since Zexion's primary weapon is a book, the creators decided to go with a laptop. Also, blogs are the new diary (in a manner of speaking), so that could be another reason they went with a laptop.

Ah, that makes more sense. Thanks, I've never heard that (I wasn't even aware the modified weapons had names... unless it's shown with the Retrieve-a-Deck, but the last time I had that installed I didn't know it was there)

Oh dude! It was so freakin' awesome. I installed it and tried it out on the Endurance mission, and I got the camera up close and I saw the keys and screen and I was... having the year's biggest geek fest.

 

... I also looked at the other gear. When it said "Midnight Snack" and I got a look at it, I thought it was two potato chip bags taped together. I tested it and much to my surprise lettuce came out of it. Now whenever someone says the word "Sandwich", I laugh like a chipmunk on crack. I was sitting there geeking out and laughing my butt off literally screaming, "It's a SANDWICH! It's a FREAKING SANDWICH!"

Awesome. It is awesome. I think they wanted at least one music-based member, and why have a plain ol' guitar when you can have a sitar?

Demyx must of been as a somebody played his Guitar or something by the ocean or something, hmmm, destiny islands? idk.

I once randomly came up with Amaluir for Marluxia, but that doesn't make sense. Where we to talk about sense, I'd say Lumaria. It's a flower. Marluxia = flowers

 

Demyx... Removing the X leaves only 4 letters and the Y seriously doesn't make it easier... I've always thought Emyd. I have no idea why.

 

Larxene, I guess Relena. I think that's an anime name.

 

As for their weapons, I feel like Luxord gambled for a living or something like that.

 

Demyx... Well, I think he was lazy, but spent most of his time playing his beloved sitar in front of a bunch of girls.

 

Marluxia... I believe he had begun displaying homicidal habits since before he became a Nobody, hence his title being The Graceful Assassin. Perhaps he enjoyed flowers; he may have fallen to darkness because of that (the homicidal tendencies), or his home world was consumed by the Heartless. That would be an unfortunate denouncement. 

 

Larxene... I think she was someone who suffered a lot, and at one point decided to defend herself. She might have had some experience with being precise, and thus she chose those knifes because she could both throw them and use them in more direct attacks. She must have a reason for wanting to see others suffer, right?

 

Anyway, I'd love to one day know for sure about these members' past.

Those are weapons tied to the wielders heart, they take on the form and power that the heart identifies with.
