If a main character were to die or have something happen to them in kh3 who would it be?

Well who do you think?

I personally think something would happen to sora (don't ask me why)

But I think you should have a brand new main character that you can play as

Villain? No.

Anti-Villain? Yes.

Ooh now that's an Idea!

Villain? No.

Well, yes, an anti-villain is what she would be, but...I still don't like the idea of Aqua possibly fighting against Sora and co. I mean, it would be cool and interesting, but at the same time...Aqua no! D: lol excuse my fanboying.

Although, in all honesty, Aqua would definately have a point. Darkness has never brought any good to anyone in the series so far. Sure, Riku's learned to channel it, but before that his yearning for more out of life led him to destroying his home world and getting possessed. I'm curious about what characters would actually fight Aqua and protect the darkness, as the heroes don't really seem keen on preserving a balance but more or less accept that its there, and who would side with her. Riku would be a twist. And who knows? Maybe starting a new journey won't be so hard Maybe they start a whole other war over this. Maybe they go to Xehanort-lengths in order to eliminate darkness. Maybe Kingdom Hearts is the key.

...I kind of want this to happen now lol. But although at first Aqua sticks by what Master Eraqus says, it seems like she slowly weans away from his teachings and follows her heart more. I don't know if she's reached "accept the darkness" levels, but we'll see. She didn't seem too negatively affected in blank points despite her long time in the darkness, but who knows how that will change once she gets a taste of the light again.

"Xehxeh?" xDfixed btw

Maybe something were to happen like...

Young Xehanort gets trapped in the future somehow and old MX fades from existence (plus the other -norts) And YMX accepts that he's not on some "appointed path" and that he's hopelessly out numbered and becomes a good guy~ never gonna happen

Or anything that makes YMX the main villain instead of the old version >_<

And death doesn't exist in KH :PI had to mention that /shot

I'm kinda wondering about this. But then again he's already lost his memories... and became a Heartlesss... and

almost became a dark vessel

But we are gonna need a reason to start off on level one... xD

I get the odd feeling that Sora will never be done losing his memories...lol. Maybe he ends up losing them sacrificing himself for Roxas and Xion to live?

I dun see why anyone is saying Aqua would go all against Darkness or the other. She understands that Darkness is something that is needed in the world to keep balance, but its uses are wrong. She would only want to defeat Xehanort, free Terra if possible, and see Ven. Then she'd just be happy again. But Aqua's a very strong woman with no problems with the Darkness like Eraqus did. She's also probably the most intelligent character of the series.

Aqua's friends would most likely end up being her main motivation for erasing all Darkness: namely, to give them a universe where they wouldn't have to worry about people like Xehanort ever again.

But knowing how Aqua is, she wouldn't do that. It's not possible and she understands why.

Of course, in KH3 Xehanort could end up doing something so reprehensible that it would finally push her over the edge, and her emotions would override her reasoning. She's only human, after all.

I understand, but I find that more than highly unlikely.

I guess it would be Riku....

Nah, I think, he already has enough "bad guy" action.

Well, Sora will be our... hero... so he won't be cease to exist *drama music*

For the time being the only character that could die would be Xehanort. I don't think that he would stop his plans if Sora and co would let him live - except they are all that stupid "oh, he won't do an evil thingie dingie anymore! Xehanort is A-Ok now!"

I do hope that nothing will happen to any of them

I just thought that something unexpected would happen

I don't want any of them die :( but I have ɑ really bad feeling for ventus and vanitas.. I know master xehanort would do something to them again like in BBS he wants to make the x-blade again right?is he using ven and van again?urggh if he using ven and van again then..........

Kairi.

I could see her sacrifice herself or something for either Sora or Riku.

Only reason I'm not saying Riku is because he's too popular of a character to kill off. Heck, I think he's even more popular than Sora in Japan right now. People would throw a sh*t fit if they killed him off.

The easy way to get a death for the story is to kill off someone that would mean a lot to the characters, yet not a lot to the audience, my list of kill able characters is as follows

Isa- granted he's a jerk for most of the games but is a friend to lea

Ansem- the original guy who no one likes but keeps coming back

Terra- would be sad but seeing as he was possessed, he could do a self sacrifice thing for his friends

Aqua- she has spent the last ten years in darkness, who knows how it affected her

New character- a character that is just added to be killed off, like xion even though she sort of came back

I am guessing Lea. I'm going to go hide in a corner now...

I can envision Aqua becoming similar to Godot out of anger and grief for being unable to save her friends OR stop Xehanort despite everything she sacrificed.

I'd say Terra is the best bet. I can totally picture him making a sacrifice that hinders Xehanort's plan and gives Sora the opportunity to end Xehanort for good. After all, Terra is the character that got affected the most by Xehanort and Xehanort alone. He pretty much needs to have an impact on his demise for justice. But he also needs to fade for it to be an impacting moment.

Of course, DEATH IS SOOOO CHEAP in KH so maybe everyone will live and we'll still have all the heroes fighting Jafar, Ursula, Hades, and Oogie Boogie in KHIV.

In all honesty the chances of a character getting killed off is pretty low, but the chances of characters becoming evil is very high just look at how Mickey reacted when he thought goofy died, i think that something like that will happen instead of having another ansem( who is the diz who won't stay dead) moment
