Hey guys, I was thinking about posting this topic, and I think now is as good a time as any to do so. So then, I love the Final Fantasy Series, and my favorite spin off series is Dissidia. And since I know that there are a few members here that also love Dissidia, I decided it would be nice to make a topic in which Dissidia fans can share their thoughts on the game, and theories and thoughts on a possible sequel. So I invite you all to take part in this Fan Club.
This topic is for veterans and for novice players that are new to Dissidia. So, to introduce Dissidia to new players, it's the story of two gods named Cosmos, the goddess of harmony, and Chaos, the god of discord. These two beings waged war on each other for countless eons, and they summoned warriors to fight for them. These warriors are familiar Final Fantasy characters such as Lightning, Kain, Cecil, Cloud, Squall and popular villains such as Golbez, Kefka and Sephiroth. These warriors fight endless cycles of battle, and with each cycle, their memories are erased, and they don't remember any of their past experiences. I won't spoil anything for the newcomers, so this just serves as an intro so that Final Fantasy fans that have never played Dissidia can get in on the fun.
Now then, I strongly recommend that you buy Dissidia 012 (Duodecim) since it's the remake of the first Dissidia with the addition of the Assist feature, plus more characters and stages and additional stories. So then, last of all, enjoy yourselves in this topic, and share your thoughts, strategies and more.
I'll start off. Okay, so, as Warrior of Light I have a good strategy. When I attack with Bitter End or Rune Saber, I do the following:
During the Bitter End or Rune Saber attacks I use the Kuja Assist to do additional bravery damage and allow me to follow up with another Bitter End or Rune Saber attack if I wish.
When I finish hitting my opponent and cause a wall rush, I summon the Kuja Assist and follow up with Bitter End or Rune Saber. This also applies to other attacks if you have the opportunity to do the wall rush. You can use other Assists, but in my personal opinion, Kuja is the best Assist, and he's a great character to use.
Well then my fellow Dissidia fans, enjoy the topic!
