Square Enix have annouced via their e-STORE the Ultimate Hits editions of Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep & Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep Final Mix. They both cost ¥ 2,940 and release December 6, 2012.

From the cover, looks like PSP. Just like the article said, the same game just with a different cover/artwork with a different price.

 

Kingdom Hearts 1.5 HD Remix is for PS3 which is KH1 and KH Chains of Memories. To be released 2013 in Japan. No confirmation for release in the US.

They're releasing the Ultimate Hits of the normal BBS? It would make more sense to just release BBSFM Ultimate Hits because it has more content

So it's essentially a "Greatest Hits" or "Player's Choice" kind of thing where they put a new label on the cover, which makes copies WITHOUT the label sought after by collectors and generally more expensive than the reissue?

And I just have a feeling that Square will announce an HD version of BBS at some point in the future.

This is pretty great. BBSFM is one of the few games I didn't get because of its absurd price tag. Everywhere I looked, it was typically over $70 for some reason. Was it short printed or something?

Yeah, that's about 30 Euros, a typical prize tag for re-releases. Order it from Fromjapan.co.jp and you save big bucks, cause it is only retail prize not sale prize.
