I don't know why, but the idea that Xehanort can track you jkust because you have an X somehow related to your person, really irritated me. I mean, I have no problem with the time-travel rules, or method, but I just picture Xehanort putting sticky-notes on people's backs and all of a sudden he can track them throughout all reality. And any time I get anything vaguely X-shaped in KHIII I'm going to get panicky. I understand he's obsessed with the X, and it's bloody magical and all that, but this just seemed stupid.

Any thoughts?

I've said this before.

There are literally millions of kh objects/clothing/ ect. with an x shape. Really if Xehanort wants to track someone it would be rather easy.

I do think it is a bit "much" for him to have that but it's been decided.

Notice that Riku's first outfit has an X of his straps.

Same for Terra, Ven, Aqua, and Eraqus.

Just because you have an X on you doesn't really mean he can track you, he has to mark an X on you in some way like Isa's scar or the X on Sora's chest, marking them as vessels and therefore his property. The X's on clothing seen before 3D were just design coincidences(and some of them didn't even look like X's) and don't really serve a purpose.

Yea I can see how that can get out of hand, almost every KH characters' clothing has an X somewhere on it, then you have the X in the org members' names, not to mention the X-blade, among other things, you'd think Xehanort would lose track of all these things with Xs on them, I mean hell there were even X's on everything even back in KH1 when no one knew what a recusant's sigil was.

X's X's everywhere :0

I know, i have the same idea. Its just an X. Its dumb that Xehanort is able to track him just because of that.

It probably has to be a specific 'X' and it has to be a X he marks you with. And X is a ancient symbol and was used throughout history in the KH universe. Obviously since this was such a important symbol, it must have been used by everyone in some sort of way.

So far I think the X straps Terra, Ven, and Aqua wear are just a simple uniform piece in learning the ways of the keyblade. It's probably a article of a uniform Xehanort and Eraqus' master made them wear, plus the armor. Maybe Xehanort took this, and used that X symbol for his own diabolical ways. In this case, the Recussant Sigil.

I just feel mind-raped from having a spoiler in front of me the entire time and not giving it any importance. ._.

I'm sure we all thought Sora's X and Riku's dream eater symbol were just costume decorations.

From now, lets over look any detail in KH. It is the only way to understand Nomuralogic.

xehanort can't track any x what happened is that xehanort kidnapped sora from the start it was stated that dreams are connected so if you went to world A aka traverse town that means the rest of the worlds you will visit are already decided and you will end up in twtnw you master yen sid never intended for them to go to traverse town he wanted another set of worlds but sora went to xehanort set of worlds and the clothes were actually xehanort's magic not yen sid's the evidence for that is the sigil of a recussant which is someone who denise his sence of self aka a nobody that why yx was always trying to confuse sora telling him that his memories aren't his own and all that stuff so he can become a recussant and xehanort can fill his heart with darkness i hope i help everyone understand

I understand, but he's able to track Sora because of the X, so now I just picture old Master Xehanort walking around putting sticky notes with Xs on them to tghings and cackling to himself about how he can track them anywhere and anywhen.

X marks the spot.

It's "A letter that spells endings." ...

Master Xehanort's definition seems pretty fitting...

Considering the Organization's X in the name was supposed to mean 'the new you' and they were truly supposed to be possessed and turn into Xehanort's clones...

Recusant: one who abandons their own beliefs/self for that of other.
