Is Young Xehanort a Seeker of Darkness?

Posted

Many people had said that young xehanort has returned to his own timeline to grow into the man that will become the seekers of darkness. But then if he is not going to appear anymore, who will occupy the throne he was seating on? He was number 12 if i'm not mistaken. Could it be possible that he too has transcended time and still grow into Master Xehanort? Like being in two time periods at the same time?

I think of it this way: an alternate version has been created, the main version would still continue to do what it would normaly do in time, while the alternate version can do other things in another time period. I think this is also true for Ansem and Xemnas.

So what you're telling me is:

YMX = Trunks

Ansem = Vegeta

Xemnas = Goku

Did I get that right?

Realistically though, I personally doubt this possibility of a second time line, but hey, I wouldn't put it past Nomura to do that. However, you do bring up a good point. Unfortunately for me though, I still haven't quite grasped the time-travel concept, so it's difficult for me to put any worth-while input in YMX conversations.

If it were the case that YX had to go back and become these people...then I don't understand at all how forging the X-blade would work; because, realistically, they'd all have to go back to their own times as well. I feel like this whole time travel idea is overly contrived and wasn't thought out very well.

I still love it though...sigh...

I agree. I know that the next KH game that moves forward in the story will have an explaination for this. But I want to know so badly. I personally hate it when they leave you hanging with a question and they leave you four years waiting for the answer. I hope they don't take that long.

Here's what I think:

Yes, YMX did return to his own time, and will do what he has done before (including collect the other incarnations of himself). And all it takes for them to stay is for the 13 SoD to be completed. SO they would just have to keep trying until they get it. That's just my thoughts.

Well if you look at the scene where Sora is surrounded you'll notice that Xigbar is off to the side and not in the circle. That's 13 right there. At that time MX had not yet returned, seeing as he's the only one who isn't wearing a Black Coat in the Round Room so that's 14 if this was intentional and not a graphical error it stands to reason that the Seekers of Darkness have already been completed even without YX or Sora. So even when YX goes back to his own time the True Organization 13 is still complete. But that begs the question "Why did they even need Riku or Sora in the first place?". Btw,it wan't me who noticed that, it was someone else on the sight. He put the video in the post so I know he wasn't mistaken.

That's one of the things I also noticed, there were 10 hooded figures and two other unhooded, these two being Young Xehanort and Xigbar. That makes 12. With Sora that was to become number 13 and with Master Xehanort they would have been 14. If this is the case, then Young Xehanort would not be needed to be there to complete the new organization. Up to that point sound logical, but then again he was seating on one of the thrones of the seekers of darkness with 10 others plus Sora and Master Xehanort. So where did the other member go?

Wow, it's true, I never noticed that... But I think it was a mistake, I mean, why would they say they were lacking a member but had extras instead? It doesn't make sense...

But as for the topic's question, I think every version return to it's own timeline, but since they are going to use vessels, it's like they consciousness are in another body that exists in the present, so they transcend time that way.

They all went to their own time (except those that are from the present), but if they can time travel once, they can do it again. Most likely it will happen the same way it did before.
