i really ask alot of questions and i hope i dont anoy anybody but i'm still wondering how sora met roxas.

heres what i know:

 

at the end of KH2 Nomine and Roxas talked. i saw the cutscene in all but i forgot everything but that. pls refresh my memory.

 

Also nomine has the same question.

Saw his memories and met him at dive to the heart at the beginning of TWTNW. Also talked after defeating Xemnas for the first time, where Roxas officially rejoined with him.

They met when Roxas and Namine simultaneously thought that it's be funny to mess with Sora so started projecting them selves from their host's bodies to freak him out.

When they were in this area:

A dive into the heart is basically whenever you see a character at that stained glass paltform with themselves on it, along with important things in their lives. for example, Sora's has his friends. As the name suggests, they're pretty much inside their own heart, so Sora fights Roxas in his heart.

He met him (unknowingly) in WTNW, where he fights a mysterious Keyblade-Wielding Organization member. Before this he had fragments of Roxas' memories, such as being sad at leaving Twilight Town, recognizing Roxas in a photograph, and watching the sun set through the glass orb. He is informed by Riku as to Roxas' identity.

 

Short answer, Sora doesn't meet Roxas until World That Never Was, where they fight.

Nooo!!!! I was going to post.....

He knows him from the Organization spilling the beans and constantly calling him Roxas and Sora would have a "wtf" look on his face and ask who Roxas was. Then he met him briefly in The World That Never Was in the Dive to the Heart/Station of Awakening. Sora never really holds a conversation with Roxas but he does know of him from what he has learned of Nobodies and this is better explained in Dream Drop Distance or 358/2 Days.

After Sora's fight with Saix Riku tells him about Roxas, that he's Sora's Nobody, was part of Organization XII, wanted to find Sora, etc.

that still doesent tell sora that that was roxas

Up until he met him in his dive to the heart he didn't even know he had a nobody. Sora met him in TWTNW in a dive to the heart but at the time he didn't know who Roxas was. It was only after Riku explained it did he realize that he had fought Roxas.

He saw a picture of Roxas after the battle of 1000 Heartless in Hollow Bastion and the name Roxas popped into his head. He also saw Roxas after the first half of the Xemnas battle, but only long enough for Roxas and Namine to get through their long speech.

They're actually distant relatives. There's an interview with Nomura (from like March of 2008, I think?) where he discusses their relationship. Don't quote me on this, but I think that Sora's mom's friend's cousin's daughter's friend from school's second cousin MIGHT have been Roxas, but I'm not sure. Probably need to check the interview archives.

... and how did Sora know it was Roxas? You'd think that you'd recognize your former self wouldn't you? Essentially, Sora knows who Roxas is because of the deep connection they have.

 

@benj0818 If you have a lot of questions, you could post them all in one thread in the general section. Google is also great for answering a lot of questions instead of waiting for responses and having people respond. Also, plez use beter gramer and spel ppls names wright . For example I couldn't even understand what you last line meant and I think you meant Namine. I can tell you don't mean to be at all abusive of asking people questions, but trying to be a bit more thoughtful in your questions would help.

Sora saw Roxas first in KH Chain Of Memories. Then in a photo of Pence,Olette,Hayner,Roxas, and Finally in KH2 Ed. Sora and Roxas saw each other and ROxas merge back into SOra...

He knew only his face and name. Since they're "the same person" Sora had the idea of Roxas inside his head, seeing how he recognized him when he saw the picture. He never really met him until the end of KH2, and got to know him better in KH3D.

How does sora know roxas?
