Yes, another KH story. Enjoy this new KH story, as this time, there will be no Sora, Riku, Kairi, etc. They will be mentioned but not make an appearence. Instead, new characters and a different story...

 

The timeline: 100 years after KH 2. Sora, Riku, Kairi and the rest of the gang are long gone. But before passing away, Sora established Keyblade training for people. He trained them though the arts of the Keyblade. And they made it to be Keyblade Masters. And they did the same. The Keyblade Masters trained more and more people. Before long, the generation of Keyblade Wielders has been recreated, all thanks to Sora.

 

But darkness still exist. Inside in every heart of the Keybladers. And there are thoses who are willing to join the darkness. They are rumors going around that a Keyblade War will start once again. And the masters fear it will happen....soon.

 

But there are rumors that a descendent of Sora can stop or even prevent the war from even happen. Problem is, there only one descendent left. His name is Kevin. And he is not safe. If he gets killed, all we be lost, the war will destroy the Keyblade Society once again, and Sora would of died in vain.

 

The story starts out in an unusual way....

Introduction

 

"Since you are already 10 years old, you shall wield your first Keyblade. It's not a toy, and not a killer. It is used to protect the balance of light and darkness. And when you are 18, you shall travel the worlds and keep them in balance as well," said Master Miller.

 

Inside the castle, there was a huge room, containing statues. It had familar people as the statues. There was Riku, Kairi, King Mickey, Donald, Goofy....and the biggest one at the end of the room was Sora.

 

Today was special day for Kevin. He already turned 10, and was ready to become the new Keyblade Wielder. Crystal, his childhood friend, said to him, "Don't be nervous." He nodded and walked up to Master Miller. Above him was the statue of Sora, with Sora's actual Keyblade right there. Master Miller smiled to him and said, "And it is time for you to understand your destiny. You are no ordinary child. You are the descendent of Sora." Kevin's mouth dropped to the floor while Crystal gasped. Master Miller continued, "That is why you will not wield your own. You shall wield his." as Master Miller put his hand on Sora's Keyblade, and removed it. Kevin stared at Sora's Keyblade and put his hand on the handle. He put his other hand on it as well and removed the Keyblade from its stand.

 

Master Miller then said, "Welcome to the Keyblade-" He stopped when he heard something. Kevin and Crystal also heard it. Then a bright light shot through the roof of the castle and into the ground very roughly. All three of them ran over to the destroyed ground. They looked at what hit it. It was still bright and hard to see what it was. When the light disappeared, a boy, Kevin and Crystal's age, was there, badly injured. He looked dead but they saw that he was still alive. Master Miller said to the boy, "Who are you? Are you ok?". But he didn't respond. He picked up the boy but looked at Kevin and said, "Welcome to the Keyblade Society. Now if you excuse me, this boy needs medical attention." He ran off and out of the room.

 

And there was only silence.

Two people figured out that the first character is infact Max, the son of Goofy. That part is cleared up.

 

And Vincent Valentine gets majority of the votes (I also too vote for him ), so he will be the second character.

 

Now this makes things a lot easier for the next chapter. Be sure to read the upcoming chapter

Chapter 15 - The TRUE Adventure Begins!

 

Within the next couple of days, everything was quiet. Ignis walked around the castle with nothing to do, Master Miller was kept locked up in his office, and Kevin slept most of the time. The wait for the two seem like forever...

 

But, they did arrived soon enough. The silent day was broken when a loud noise appeared in the sky. Some people walked out of the castle to see it, while others looked out the window. They pointed and starred at a ship that flew around the giant castle. However, the view was done when the ship disappeared behind the castle. A figure popped out of the ship and into a window of Master Miller's office. The person smiled and said, "I have arrived, sir." Master Miller shook his head and said, "You could of used the front door." The person shrugged.

 

Ignis, still kept walking around the castle, and still had nothing to do. He signed and bend down while walking. "Won't anything good finally come?" cried Ignis. The phone in his pocket buzzed and it a text message from Master Miller. He smiled. Maybe something good will come up.

 

He walked to Kevin's room and saw Kevin asleep, snoring. Ignis made a cute looking face and said, "Aww, princess here is still taking his beauty nap." He then put his hand under the matress and heated up the bed with Fire. Kevin did nothing but after five seconds, he opened his eyes and felt the heat, immdediantly getting off the bed. Ignis laughed and snorted at Kevin, while Kevin turned his very hot back to him. Ignis walked over to him and helped him out, grabbing his hand and pulling him up. "Kevin, they're here."

 

The two walked together at Master Miller's office. Upon opening the door, they saw Master Miller along with someone else. "Ah Kevin. Good to see you in shape again", greeted Master Miller. Kevin crossed his arms and said, "Im fine. So this is the guy you were talking about?" The person nodded. "I'm Max, your friendly neighborhood knight at your service!" Max extended his hand. Kevin looked at it for a second and then smiled and extended his hand too and both shook their hands. Ignis then looked around for the other one. "Ummm...didn't you say there would be two?" asked Ignis. Master Miller nodded. "There should be one more. Now where can he be?" Everyone looked everywhere but no one could find him. A voice spoke out right behind Kevin and Ignis, saying, "I'm here." Kevin and Ignis jumped and turned around slowly. It was a man with a red coat, with guns in his pocket. He was as pale as the moon and looked like he would be a murderer. He starred at Kevin and said, "Vincent. Vincent Valetine." Kevin was a little creeped out by him. But he ignored his feelings and extended his hand, saying, "Kevin. Nice to meet you?" Vincent did the same thing as Kevin when introduced by Max. But Vincent sighed and extended his hand, shaking it. He walked to Max and Master Miller stood by him.

 

Master Miller then delivered another speach to him:

 

"Kevin...I know Crystal and Ryusei are your friends, and mean so much to you, but you need to keep your eyes on the prize. Your new destiny will be to stop Xehanort at all cost. If he is able to unlock Kingdom Hearts once again, then the Keyblade Wars will start again...and you'll in the middle of it. Travel the worlds ang gain information, to see if you can find Xehanort's whereabouts, and to stop anything he does in those worlds. If we're lucky, and Ryusei's heart was released, then it's possible to get him back. But...getting him back will be the hard part. If you can get defeat Xehanort, then you'll be able to rescue Crystal. I'm sorry to say this, but you do have a tine limit. You have an entire year to gather information if Xehanort cannot be found. Because with enough data, we'll able to pinpoin his location and invade the world he's on. The Unversed is also another problem we need to solve, so get ready to deal with them. I only one request when you're gone...stay alive please. I already had to loose another pupil..."

 

Kevin nodded in silence. Max snapped his fingers and the ship he had moved next the window. Max and Vincent walked to it and went inside. Kevin began walking but Master Miller stopped him one last time. "Kevin?" said Master Miller. Kevin stopped walking and turned around. "Yeah?" asked Kevin. Master Miller walked up to him and patted him on the shoulder. "You'll find them. Trust me." Kevin smiled and said, "I know I will." We walked to the ship and went inside, and the hatch closed. The ship fired its thrusters and it flew away, drifiting away from the castle and into the sun.

 

Kevin, Max, and Vincent's adventure to defeat Xehanort has begun!

Chapter 16 - Heartless

 

After a year's worth of traveling to many worlds, we find our heroes resting for an important event...

 

The gummi ship flew aroumd mindlessly in the Lanes Between. The gang have traveled across the worlds, searching for information on Xehanort, and perhaps finding Ryusei if he isn't dead. Sadly, they only found out that Xehanort's been creating experiments, and using them to eradicate the gang. But they fell to the hands of the heores, thus failing. Xehanort's whereabouts is still unknown. And there has been no signs of Ryusei, not even a Heartless or a Nobody. Everything went the same. Everything went smoothly. Everything except now...

 

Kevin and Max slept back to back, while Vincent stood there, with his eyes closed. Beep beep beep. A noise occured from the monitor that made Vincent open his eyes. Something was going on. "Kevin," said Vincent. Kevin awkoe with a surpise. Vincent pointed at the monitor, and Kevin's eyes opened. He got up, making Max crash into the ground and waking him up. After the two made it to Vincent, they looked at the monitor and a red dot appeared on their radar. It was a world. A world they haven't visited. Yet, there was disturbence within it. Kevin looked from the monitor to the actual world, and then stayed quiet, while looking down. Max looked over to him and became concerned. "Kevin, what's wrong?" asked Max. Kevin looked up and then to Max. "It's my homeworld...Destiny Islands..." The ship flew to the world.

 

Upon landing, Kevin, Max, and Vincent took a big look around the view. It was spectacular. The trees looked fresh and green. The water was heathly, and had a smooth sound when the waves went along the shore. The air was warm, with a nice breeze. "You guys check the other side of the island, I'll check here," said Kevin. Max and Vincent looked at each other, and followed orders. When the duo disappeared, Kevin walked around. He checked the shed, finding nothing. He walked out and saw a ladder. He went up the ladder and was a on a deck. He saw clothes, that would fit a child. He held his head, when he saw flashbacks of him, a boy, and two girls playing here. He looked to his right to find a room. Inside was blankets and pillows. More flashbacks occured, where the four kids had sleepovers in the room, having pillow fights, telling scary stories, etc. His memeories are haunting him. He walked out of there and back to the beach. By the small waterfall, he saw a cave. Then his nightmare days ago came back. Kevin widen his eyes. "The cave...the cave....the cave!" He ran over to the cave and crawled inside.

 

Entering it, the cave was dark as always. Walking along the walls, it started to get brighter and brighter. It was clear that it was just like his nightmare. When he reach the main room, there were drawings and straight from him was a door, with light coming through the hedges. His expression went from blank to depressed, as he looked down. "Kyle..." he muttered. But his expression changed again. Upon looking up, a keyhole appeared on the door. He jumped. He summonded his Keyblade and aimed it at the keyhole. The Keyblade didn't do anything for a few seconds, but then light appeared from the tip. And it shot right into the keyhole, making a clicking noise. The door slowly opened and light burst out. Kevin covered his eyes and backed away. The light was very strong.

 

Light wasn't the only thing that came out of that door.

 

As Kevin tried to walk further to the door, a black object flew out of the door and Kevin ducked. The door automatically closed fast, and Kevin turned around. "What...the..." He was speechless. But whatever that was, it wasn't supposed to be in there. Kevin ran out of the cave.

 

Once out of the cave, Kevin looked around for that unidentified black object. Looking left and right, he couldn't find it. It wasn't until he looked at the minature island where something stood on it. Kevin looked at it and then went to it. While trying to cross the bridge, he sees the thing, but it wasn't that black object...it was a boy. Instead of running, he walked to him and knelt down. "Are you lost?" asked Kevin softly. The boy's back was facing him and it stayed like that. The boy responded, "Yes. Lost....like him...." Kevin looked at him strange and said, "What?" He wiped his eyes, and when he looked at him again, the boy was no more. Rather, there was the black object again. It too had it's back towards Kevin. But it was now humaniod, and it's presence made Kevin's stomach uneasy. The thing moved a little, and then revealed one of his yellow eyes to him. Kevin looked at the eye and muttered, "Heartless..." Kevin then summonded his Keyblade and was ready to fight it. The Heartless only starred at him, then turning his back to him again.

 

The Heartless roses his arms in the air and a ball of darkness covered it. The ball then flew into air and grew bigger. It grew as big as the minature island, and then it stopped. It then started to grow limbs, four growing from each corner. A small circle grew from the top, identifying its head. The head grew black long string-like hair, and big yellow eyes popped on the face. And for the last of its transformation, a giant hole appeared in the middle of the body. It then shaped into a heart.

 

Kevin then finally knew what he was dealing with. A Darkside.

 

Kevin heard footsteps behind him, and he turned around, only to find Max and Vincent running to him. When they caught up, Max said, "Is this a Heartless?" Kevin nodded. Vincent also joined in the conversation. "This is a big Heartess. Whoever's Heartless this is must have a lot of darkness in his heart." Kevin nodded to that as well. As Max pulled out his sword and shield and Vincent pulling out his guns, Kevin yelled out, "The three of us can take it!" the three readied for combat.

 

Someone else, however, wanted to join in as well.

 

As the trio ran towards the Darkside, creatures popped up. They were a blue color and a emblem different to Heartless and Nobodies. They were..."The Unversed?!? What do they want?" Kevin cried out. While he said this, the creatures wanted the Darkside. Unversed flew towards the giant creature and began dissolving in to it. More also popped up and repeated the same thing. Kevin was struck dumb. It's like the Unversed was attracted to the Heartless...

 

It was then what was happening told him something.

 

"Guys...I know what's going on. This Heartless is attracting Unversed. This can only mean the the person's heart is full of darkness...he's the one who created them! His heart is supposed to be used to create the X-Blade!"

 

The Darkside was completely transformed. It stars the same but was blue instead, its eyes was now red, and the heart in the middle curved to look like the Unversed emblem.

 

The trio took no time to stand around. They ran after this Heartless-Unversed fusion, and hope to defeat this monstrocity.

 

Who is this person's heart of darkness? Is he/she one of Xehanort's experiments...or is he/she someone familar?

Whoa. A Darkside-Unverse fusion. That's pretty cool, great chapter man.

Also, I got some good news. After this story is done, I plan on working some more stuff for this. Turns out, it's going to be a series. YAY! Next part of this series is the origins, and this is basically before Kingdom Hearts: The Lost Star, explaining details of the past, in viewpoints of different characters. This will also fully explain some events that will be later shown in TLS as I write it, as there will be really confusing parts. It might hold some secrets and truths that will make you

 

Perhaps...a sequal may arise from this. But that's all I will say for now.
