You know what 358/2 Days graphics remind me of?

Posted

PS1 graphics. I don't know if anyone else ever thought of this but if you kinda compare PS1 game graphics to 358/2 Days graphics they kinda look similiar. Though whenever I look at Days graphics it strangely reminds me of RE1, Re2, and RE3: Nemesis. Though can you imagine how everyone would look in PS1 graphics if KH games were made on that console? It would be kinda funny really. Seeing everyone talk with their lips not moving, their hands and body all blocky, and their fingers look all flat and square (and probably no eyes either like in MGS1 rofl. But knowing Square they would include eyes).

I always considered the DS a portable N64, and the 3DS a portable GC. mine ass well put Sony's on here too. PSP = PS2. Vita = HD PS2

:P

Reminds me of Final Fantasy VIII and IX

Just imagine Master Xehanort in PS1 graphics xD

DS in my opinion has better graphics than the PS1. Though its not like graphics should matter anyways...

Kids in their graphics these days...

The PS1 had a lot more squares than the DS in my opinion. If it had been made for PS1, everything would have probably looked more blocky.

actually ps1 had 32 bit graphics, and the n64 had 64 bit graphics. so that would make the n64 the HD power house of its time. sadly it lack of memory due to it using game cards instead of CDs. also do to n64 having top notch graphics the possessor took a hit and would be to slow to generate a game with an nice flow o frame per seconds. so the polygon where the thing that took hit. the ds has more memory and a better possessor then the n64 and gave it better polygons build for the characters. a lot of people(kids or people refused to grow up) are confused on what a graphic is and what memory really does for the game. I guess what I'm tired of hearing is that "the ps1 has better graphics the n64." last time i check 64 bit is better the 32 bit. btw ds still runs 64 bit graphics.

You know it reminds me of? Shit Squares. Why do they have to keep doing this to us? They could have made it for PS2, and have better graphics, but they had to make us buy more consoles. It really gets on my nerves sometimes...

True, true, but I still love the game and think it is essential to any serious KH fan.

Yeah no. It costs a lot more money to develop for a console. It's doubtable they would have made something fro the Wii, and the PS2 was on the way out, while the PS3 would cost a tonne to develop for. CoM had already been on a Nintendo handheld prior, so this was a logical step at the time. Days certainly doesn't warrant the attention that BBS, KH1,2 or even DDD warrant

There was a part of this game in which I could see through the back of Larxene's head.

ah.. gotta love the weird days graphics. :P They're good just a few odd moments.

I've always thought that. If Kingdom Hearts had come a generation earlier, it would have looked like Days.

my first thought at seeing the topic were just this:

Toaster graphics
