October 19, 201213 yr I like playing sports, but I'm not into too much of watching them. Although I do enjoy watching baseball at actual stadiums. Does Beyblading count? if so then change the 'like' to a 'love' oh and a good struggle match! I love to struggle! Edited October 19, 201213 yr by ReikuSSR

October 19, 201213 yr i think its kind of a waste putting millions into something that you can do for free in your back yard Have to agree with ya there!!
October 19, 201213 yr I absolutely HATE watching sports but I think that all sports are fun to play. Not hard core but just kind of in a fun, non competitive way. Like playing sports at the part or something..
October 20, 201213 yr I go to an all boys school, so playing sport is pretty much a given. Also, most of the boys are from European (especially Italian) descent, so football(soccer) is very popular.
October 20, 201213 yr I hate sports. They seem pointless to me. Plus the money those guys get paid is completely ridiculous. Different sports, different leagues give different pay. It's also up to the club/franchise to decide how much a player or coach is paid. And when you consider all the work they do, some players and coaches have to give up a lot of things like time with their families. They don't get much time off. Plus in some sports it's very likely they will get injured which it's not fun. Plus they also get expensive fines for simple things like accidental contact with an umpire. Paying thousands of dollars for accidental contact wouldn't be fun. Sometimes they risk their life.
October 20, 201213 yr I'm a 2nd Degree Blackbelt in Karate, it's great. You get a lot of exercise, actually do the cool moves you see on TV and in Movies (Funfact: Lightning bending in Avatar is primarily centered around striking pressure points, the throat, or the eyes with incredible accuracy and power) , you learn how to use cool weapons (Tonfa and Staff are fun), everyone is impressed that you do it, and it has some real world application (you never want to actual apply it, but it happens eventually). And before anyone asks, no I don't know the actual waterbending/bloodbending techniques (rather the martial arts they come from). To put it in a way that would be easiest for the people here to understand, I basically know a form of Japanese martial arts that could be compared to a cross between fire bending and earth bending. I hate using these avatar references but I don't know a better way to explain it to this crowd. The best piece of advice I would ever give to anyone who is interested taking Karate is this. In the words of the founder of my Karate Style, Chojun Miyagi "The ultimate aim of karate-do was to build character, conquer human misery, and find spiritual freedom". It's not about beating people up. I can understand if you take Karate to learn how to defend yourself, but if your going to learn in order to be a bully and push people around, this isn't for you. Discipline is heavily involved in Karate. It's called a Martial Art for a reason, Martial means military. Martial arts thus means military arts. If you lack discipline (or in Japanese "Rack Disciprine") your going to be in for a wake up call. Edited October 20, 201213 yr by Amon

October 20, 201213 yr Ok, I hate hate HATE watching sports. And I don't really like being on a sports team. (curse you all my lazy RL friends) but I love actually playing them with my friends on the off chance that they aren't being lazy.
