(Note to the Roleplayers: You just had the dream about having to get the the gazebo in the middle of the lake. I'll get there first to give you something to work off of. Also, AT LEAST FIVE WELL-WRITTEN SENTENCES.)

Annabeth felt like something was possessing her mind. Why was she even considering leaving home? This was ridiculous, and she knew it. Yet she carefully pried open her window, slid down her roof, and hopped lightly onto her lawn anyway. She sort of recognized the gazebo. It was the old, rickety one in the middle of the lake about half a mile behind her school. Her old bike was tossed aside next to the garage, so she pulled it upright and started to make her way toward the lake. The sky was only just beginning to lighten. If she hurried, she could get this stupid idea out of her head, prove to herself there was nothing at that lake, and return back home.

Peddling as quickly as she could manage, it didn't take Annabeth more than fifteen minutes to reach the lake. She listlessly threw her bike aside, and circled the lake until she found the creaky old bridge that connected the land to the gazebo. It looked like it would fall apart at the slightest touch. She took a cautious first step, holding her breath in case it gave way. When it held her weight, she took advantage of her luck and sprinted to the other end, until she was safely on the gazebo.

She took a deep breath and dropped to onto one of the wooden benches built into the gazebo. As if she'd flipped a lightswitch, the scene changed from a dark view of the lake to a more brightly lit gazebo, where seven faces stared back at her. Just as quickly as the vision had begun, it stopped. She shook her head nervously and fingered her crystal necklace. "Maybe I'm a little too sleep deprived."

'' Samehere. If we have to go on a quest, maybe we should stick together.'' Seth said as fire appeared in his hand. He still had no idea how it appears. He made a fist and the fire slowly disappeared. Smoke filled the tent. He closed his eyes and stood up.'' We must be connecting someway and I believe this is it.'' Seth had fire appear on his finger tips. He knew he must control this power one day, but today wasn;t the day. He never had a peaceful day, but he knew the police is tracking him. Sooner or later, he will be arrested for over 20 counts of murder. He looked at the rest of the kids.'' I believe some of us might not like each other, but sooner or later, we will have to put all the hated aside so we can work together on finding out who the angel is and why we have these powers and crystals.'' Seth suggested.

Pacifica blinked, her ocean coloured eyes widening with disbelief. She couldn't believe it, her plan had been considered and it was now definitely their best option. But she knew she had to keep her parents away from the cabin for god knows how long but how to do that… She shook her head, she could figure it out later. Her gaze wondered over to her Toyota Tundra rising of the ground. Tery.

He was still looking at the ground. Paci frowned. "I can give you a ride if you'd kindly stop making my truck hover an inch above the ground?"

He looked at the truck and at her with panic, the Toyota landing with muddled thump on the pavement. Tery's brown eyes lowered ashamedly and he began mumbling profuse apologies.

Pacifica managed to smile despite everything and said, "Well, I have one person joining me. Who are the other three that will come with?"

"ME! I'LL COME! LET'S GET MARRIED!" /shot

Annabeth shrugged. What other option did she have if she wanted to follow Hyron's directions? She may have been nineteen, but she didn't have a car. "I'll come with you."

Just as she began to speak, another vision smashed into her head. It was like the universe hated her or something. This time, she saw seven figures, but they were faceless, their crystals all a uniform gray. Another figure, with a crystal strung around its neck, fled from the other figures. A shining white figure pointed to the group of seven, ushering them away from the escaping figure, while a menacing black form chased the loner. There was a close up of the black figure, who turned to face her. "Get off of my lake before I come for you."

As suddenly as it had begun, the vision faded. She automatically reached up to feel her forehead. Maybe she really was beginning to hallucinate. The eight faceless figures were obviously the eight of them, but who were the other two, who so obviously represented good and evil? Annabeth had a bad feeling in the pit of her stomach. Someone was going to abandon them, or turn traitor, or something else that she really wouldn't encourage. Oh, and the threat of a demonic black figure coming to get her was also slightly unnerving. "Let's get a move on. We shouldn't be here."

"Ouch" Luke said as Jenna slaps him on his head. Luke sat up and saw Jenna & Chelsea having an argument, "Hahaha you two make me laugh, also can we all come to a decision already, i'am sleepy *yawn*". Luke saw that Tery had lifted up Pacifica's truck and also saw it hit the ground. Luke thought, man all these people have strange powers just like me, one with the power of fire, one that says she has the power of love, one that says when she gets all emotional she can control water, one that says she can run fast (Like to see her prove it ha), one that says she's the seeker of shit in the future (*Laugh*). I wonder what the others are hmm, Luke thought to himself, I guess i can find out later.

At this point, Tery had his hands over his face, as if trying to hide the obvious embarassment he felt over accidentally lifting Pacifica's Toyota into the air. He was still mumbling apologies into his hands when he heard Annabeth volunteer to join them in the car ride. Driving in a car with two girls who were still pretty much complete strangers to him. Tery had long since come to the conclusion that he must be crazy to have agreed to all of this, but he also knew that this was a once in a lifetime event. He couldn't reject this. His attention then shifted to Luke, who seemed to just be shrugging off everything that was happening. You could be more respectful, you know... Much to even his own surprise, Tery spoke up. "We already have come to a decision: we're going to Pacifica's place for a little bit before we do whatever it is we have to do. It'll give us time to get to know each other, unless you'd rather sleep." Tery paused for a moment, then slightly shuffled back, his voice going quiet again. "Sorry..."

Jenna looked at Luke. "She started it. Besides, you make me irritated. Now I think I see my limo, if anyone wants a ride, then come with me." Jenna said. Her limo pulled up and she opened the door and got in it. It was very very roomy. There was a flat screen TV, a microwave, a fridge filled with all different types of food and drinks. It looked like it could fit more than ten people at one time. She got on the seat in the very back and propped out her feet. "Now this is better than a car." Jenna said.

Chelsea stuck her tongue out at Jenna as she climbed into he limo. It was a childish thing to do, but she didn't care. Chelsea turned to Pacifica, Tery, and Annabeth. "If you don't mind could I go with you guys? I think I'd be a bit uncomfortable in the limousine for various reasons." Chelsea said, with a newfound grin. This could be fun. Or they could all die. But she was trying to be optimistic. Chelsea glanced at Luke, the sleepy little weirdo. She wanted to rag on him, but she couldn't bring herself to. His dirty blond hair and stunning blue eyes seemed to trap her... 'Wow do I pick the worst times to show my feminine side.' Chelsea thought, looking away.

A wondrous thing happened, Pacifica managed to grin back at Chelsea. Though from the way Paci was playing with her midnight hair, she was still more or less anxious. Letting go of the dark tress, she stood straight and clapped her hands. "Alrighty then... second one there gets shotgun, I guess?" Annabeth and Chelsea both nodded with what seemed anticipation and Tery had a petrified expression on his face.

Pacifica turned to the rest of the group, cocking her head to the side. "There is another spot left. Anyone who doesn't want to go in the limo is welcome to join us." She spun on her heels with a sense of elation and relief. She was going back to her home, to her ocean. She was leaving this godforsaken desert behind and she'll finally be rejuvenated again.

Unlocking the truck, Paci settled in the driver's seat and adjusted her aquamarine tank top. She was sweating bullets underneath of the sun and the material of her top was starting to feel uncomfortable against her skin. Putting the key in the ignition, she put the A/C on at full blast and waited for the other three or possibly four to join her.

"Oh, Did i now haha" Luke said in response to Jenna saying Luke made her feel irritated, Luke also saw Chelsea stick her tongue out at Jenna, Luke laughed some more as they both went their own ways. Luke heard what Tery said to him "Well, i can't get much sleep now since i got a slap on my head haha. Besides you all have got me interested in your so called powers know, I think a limousine has my vote haha" So Luke got up and started to get in the limo and as Luke got in he glanced at Chelsea and gave a wink, as well as a light smile before getting into the limousine. Luke than laid on some seats across from Jenna with his arms behind his head in the limo, Luke slowly looked at Jenna on the other side "hmm".

Nathan who had remained little bit silently until now trying to think what his power could be. "No, that's just impossible. Nonono, that is stupid..." Nathan thought as he threw all other possibilities away and decided to see himself. "Wait.. Why would I even get worked up about this?" Nathan thought for second and decided to just go with flow for while. He didn't have job right now anyways and he lived on his own house. "I would prefer to not go with limo. Can I have one seat in Toyota?" Nathan quickly asked with not so dark tone. It was already unusual that he would ask something before doing it anyways. Still Nathan didn't want to listen any objections, mainly because he would turn the limo upside down, because people like that irritated him the most. Anybody would expect that he would get easily angry at people like Tery, but Nathan saw little bit of his brother on him so he it was one thing he couldn't do. He took out his cigarette box, but when he noticed a bit frustrated looks, he sighed and put cigarettes away.

(One quick note: When Nathan mentions his brother or his parents, he means his step brother and -parents.)

Jenna looked up to see Luke get in the car. "At least someone is joining me, even if it is someone like you. What is wrong with those people out there? Usually I only have to snap my fingers before people follow my lead, so why aren't they?" Jenna asked aloud. She then reached into the fridge and pulled out a large glass of iced sweet tea. She then took a sip and started to stare outside at the sky again. 'An angel? People who don't follow as I lead? And a quest to leave home? When will this nightmare end?' Jenna thought in her mind.

Tery remained stationary for a moment, doubts continuing to flood his mind. No matter what concerns and fears he had, though, he was already commited to this. There was no sense in turning back now. Slowly, Tery approached Pacifica's Toyota and opened the door, stepping inside and sitting down, quickly securing himself with his seatbelt. He turned his head over to Nathan, immediately intimidated by the older man of the group. As quick as he had looked, Tery turned his head away from the man. He looked around the interior of the car, not really sure what to say. "Um... nice car...?" he piped awkwardly. He didn't want it to sound like a question, but Tery wasn't good at small talk, so his nervousness made it come out completely wrong. Tery just turned his head to the window, not looking at the others.

Despite herself, Pacifica managed a small laugh. It was barely even a laugh. More of a silent chuckle. Annabeth had settled in shotgun, giving her a smile that seemed to say, 'We're in the same boat, you and me.' Tery sat directly behind the driver's seat, leaning as far away from everyone as he could. Chelsea squeezed the middle seat and Nathan looked agitated, his hands never ceasing to play to play with whatever was in them.

"It's my dad's truck more specifically. Took it without his permission at about seven this morning," Pacifica checked the Tundra's digital clock. It was one in the afternoon. Paci pursued her lips, realizing she needed to contact Jenna in case anything happened to that the limo wouldn't be lost driving west. She got out of the truck and walked over to the limo which was ready to leave. She knocked on the window and it lowered, revealing the impatient expression of Jenna's face.

"What?" she grumbled.

"Not meaning to disturb but... I realize it's smarter if I have your number so I could contact you in case something happens during the drive west. Mind exchanging cell numbers?"

"Fine," Jenna sighed with resignation. She recited her phone as Paci entered it into her phone and Pacifica did the same for Jenna. She glaced at her Tundra and its passengers looked impatient as ever to leave.

"I'll text you if anything changes," Paci promised, putting away her cell and brushing her hair out of her eyes. The wind was picking up. "Will the limo be following my truck?" Jenna assured her yes. When Paci loaded into her truck, she told the others, "This drive is going to be hours long. We'll be barely stopping. You guys live in this town right? You sure you don't want me to drop you off so you can bring a few things with you?"

Annabeth groaned and sunk down in her seat after hearing Paci's time estimate. She hated riding in cars. It might have had something to do with the billions of visions she'd had of people she'd never met having car crashes. They weren't very comforting. "No, I don't need anything from home, Pacifica. Cars are stupid." She grumbled tiredly. "Someone's got to have the ability to create unicorns. Let's find them and fly there." She almost smiled at the mental picture of herself, still in pajamas, zooming above her hometown on a colorful unicorn. Sadly, this was her imagination at work, not a vision.

Speaking of visions, why were so many of them hitting her today? Normally her powers only acted up a few times a week, and sometimes not even at all. But she'd already had two, plus a wacky dream. She wasn't sure, but she didn't think the figure that had been abandoning the group was that of any of the others in the car. "Hey," Annabeth realized how soft her voice was. Something about this entire situation had flipped her confidence upside down. She pushed down the nervousness bubbling up inside of her and relayed the second vision to the others.

Jenna put down her iPhone5 in the nearby drink holder and crossed her arms. "She does know that that window cost more than she will ever make in her lifetime." Jenna mummbled. She then took out a remote and pushed the on button turning on the wide screen tv in the car. It came on to the opening on Pretty Little Liars: The BetrAyel. She then put down the remote and pulled out a bag of hot popcorn with extra butter. She then started eating it and watching the tv. The limo driver was ready to follow Pacifica.

"ha, maybe because they think you'll turn them into servants or it could be the fact that you say you have the power of love that scares them haha". As all where ready to go, Jenna turned on the wide screen tv that was in the limo "If your gonna watch that keep it down, I've got a date with some pretty girls in my dreams ok princess" Luke said as he started to go to sleep still laying on some seats with his arms behind his head. "Wake me when we get there k".

Jenna stopped watching the tv and focused on Luke. She knew alittle bit of how to control her powers, not much, but little enough to mess with his dreams. She then casted a spell on Luke to make the girls in his dreams strongly dislike him. She then went back to watching the tv. "Yeah sure, whatever. Just enjoy your dreams." Jenna said making sure to keep the spell a secret for now until after he awoke from it.

Tery continued staring out the window, gazing past his faint reflection to what was outside. He thought heavily about what Pacifica was saying. The idea had come to him several times that he had no idea what he was getting into, that for all he knew, he might never see his home again. But he had also accepted a truth: there was nothing for him back there. "No thanks, I'm good. I have everything that I need with me." Tery was terrified of what awaited him, but he had also accepted this. He was committed, no turning back. Annabeth then turned and started speaking to everyone in the Toyota, about a vision she had. As she told the story, Tery's anxiety grew slowly, but surely. By the time she was finished, his heart was pounding. "So... what does that mean? Is one of us going to leave? Or turn against the others?" Oh God, what if it's me...? Tery buried his head into his hands. In the distance, street lights began shattering down the street.

The drive in truck was tense but not unbearable. Both men were gazing out their respective windows and saying nothing for the past hour and a half. Chelsea, Annabeth and Pacifica chatted amicably whereas Tery was utterly silent the entire time. Nathan would interject into the girls' conversation every now and then but he wouldn't linger long. Before they had left, Pacifica had sent Jenna the directions to the cabin in case the limo lost them amidst any traffic or somewhere on the highway.

The ninety minutes en route were long and after sometime, the girls ran out of things to say. The scenery around them changed as they drove, from the semi-arid desert to the termperate rainforests of the West Coast. The sky was cloudless but the ocean mist was visible among the mountain tops and from those mountains tops, thundered waterfalls throughout the valley. Everything was so green, alive and full of energy. Beautiful, thought Pacifica. She was starting to feel that energy herself and her mood was lifting bit by bit. After a few minutes, Pacifica asked if they minded if she played a bit of the Finding Nemo soundtrack and Owl City. She looked at Tery pointedly, trying to get him to say something after his long period of brooding silence. Unable to avoid responding, he mumbled a feeble, "No, I don't mind," and those brown eyes quickly darted out the window.

Thirty minutes later, Pacifica saw spotted a rest stop with a gas station, outhouses, a parking lot and familiar bear proof garbage cans. She motioned her phone to Annabeth and asked her, "Mind texting Jenna we're stopping for a bit?" as Paci looked for a place to park. After that was done, they made an agreement to meet back at the truck in thirty minutes at the latest. While everyone went to do their business, Pacifica found a remote area to call her parents.

"Pacifica!" her mother answered with relief.

"Hi, Mom. I'm doing well," she bit her lip and began to play with her hair.

"What happened? Why did you leave so suddenly and- Why did you have to take Dad's truck? Why his truck?"

Pacifica chuckled. "Because trucks are badass, Mom."

Paci heard a sigh of exasperation on the other end. "Can you clue me in?"

She closed her eyes, wondering how to phrase this. "I found a link, a tip of my… origins. I'm coming back with company that will help me figure this out."

"I see," her mother murmured softly. "Well, if you need anything at all, don't hesitate to call your dad and I. Be safe, Pacifica."

"Sure thing, Mom," she mashed her lips together.

"I love you, Paci."

"I love you too, Mom," Pacifica pressed her temple. The call disconnected and Pacifica leaned against the cement wall of the gas station, sinking to the ground.

Jenna received a text from the others. She then put down her phone without replying and made the limo driver keep going. She then went back to watching her shows. "We will be stopping soon." Jenna said to Jake trying to get him up from where he was asleep. Jenna did know that she was going to stop before they were at the cabin, and she knew a fancy restaurant just ten minutes from where they currently were. She was getting hungry for some real food and so she planned for a food break.

Luke slowly opened his eyes half way, After hearing what Jenna said, That we will be stopping soon. Luke just turned his body to one side facing Jenna and said "Like i said before princess, wake me when we get there ok. So if you don't mind, I'am going back to sleep. Darn it, Why is it the girls i'am dreaming about hate me, mmm". Luke focused on Jenna for a minute, After that Luke was thinking 'Nice, these seats are sooo soft I feel so warm laying here that i don't want to move but now I feel hungry, O well' Before starting to drift off back to sleep.

Jenna got up and walked over to Luke in the limo. She then took her hand and slapped him really hard on the face. "When I say get up, I mean get up!" Jenna yelled at Luke. She then went back to her seat and sat down. It didn't take long for the limo to stop in the parking lot of a resturant called 'King Jarry's'. It looked like one of the most classy resturant in the world. Jenna got out of the car and started walking into the building.

Tery stepped out of the truck, staring at the gas station. He had never been in this area anymore, so without a doubt he wasn't going to go far from the truck. He figured that maybe he would just walk around the station a little bit, give him at least one thing to do during the 30 minute wait. As he was about to head to the convenience store right beside the pumping station, something caught his eye. He turned slightly and saw Pacifica, standing distant from everyone else, using her phone. Tery moved towards her slightly, and heard her speaking. She's calling her parents, letting them know what's happening. Maybe I should call mine as well. I did bring my phone with me. As Tery dug into the pocket of his shorts, fumbling around for his phone, he looked at Pacifica again. She had slid to the ground, holding her head and leaning against the gas station's cement wall. Tery paused for a moment, considering what he should do. His fingers were playing with the crystal dangling around his neck. Then to even his own surprise, Tery began to slowly walk towards her, speaking in a quiet voice. "Um... are you okay...?"

Annabeth took note of the fact the others were sparing their parents worry and calling them. But she couldn't bring herself to call her own folks. She knew what their reply would be--you'll get hurt! Come back right now! Annabeth really didn't feel like dealing with that sort of drama just yet. Instead, she squeezed her crystal so tightly she feared it would break, and tried to force on a vision. Just something to give her a clue as to who the one running away was. Wondering was a thousand times more frustrating than just knowing. She snapped her eyes shut and tried to concentrate, but she'd never been able to force on a vision before. And apparently, today was not going to be the day she learned how. Annabeth wasn't sure how long she sat there, growing more frustrated the more she failed. Finally, she gave up and marched inside of the gas station. She'd remembered to stuff some of her allowance in her pajama bottom pockets before she'd snuck out, so she used it to buy a Coke. The others were scattered around the gas station, probably less freaked out than she. At least their parents were okay with them chasing a hallucination. Hers, well--Annabeth couldn't see this ending well for her. Even if she found whatever Hyron was trying to point her in the direction of, her parents would kill her the moment she got home. She'd only been gone a handful of hours, and already they would be going nuts. Suddenly, Annabeth didn't want to feel so open. She wanted to get in Paci's car and drive like the wind. "Can we get going?"

Luke woke up in pain from the slap Jenna gave him "Ouch! Ok, Ok, Fine I'll get up, No need to yell at me hm". The limo soon stopped at a place called 'King Jarry's'. As Jenna and Luke got out of the limo, Luke looked up at the restaurants star rank, That was underneath the name, It had 5 stars and just then Luke thought to himself 'What, I can't afford this, Mmm'. As Jenna started to walk into the restaurant Luke said to her "I'll just be taking a little walk around, I should be back in the limo before you, Ok, See ya". Luke was walking around when he saw a hot-dog cart 'YES, some food i can afford and that tastes good too' Luke thought to himself.

So Luke bought himself two hot-dogs in bread and started to eat one of them, Then he noticed a sad, Hungry, Black husky dog that was trying to steal a hot-dog from the man's hot-dog cart. But the man saw the hungry dog and tried to whack the poor dog but Luke stepped in "HEY YOU!, DON'T YOU DARE LAY A FINGER ON THAT DOG OR YOU'LL BE SORRY!" and the man slowly went back to his cart then took it away. Luke then offered the hungry husky dog the other hot-dog he had with him, It didn't take long for the hungry husky to eat the hot-dog, After that the husky took a liking to Luke and started to follow him as he went back to the limo.

Luke then opened the door to the limo and as he was about to get in the black husky jumped in the limo, Sat down with a sad face wanting to go with him. "Oh, Uh, Well i do like dogs and you do look like you'll be a good boy, So i'll take care of you from now on ok, I just hope Jenna likes dogs too, He". Then Luke laid down on the seats he was sleeping on before and the black husky then started to lick his Luke's face with happiness, Then the black husky laid down next to him. "I wonder how long Jenna will be in that restaurant?"
