You know what's ironic? If you look at it it's almost like those two games are like twin brothers. I mean, both OoT and FFVII are one of the most successful and popular games, they both had a prequal (FFVII with Crises Core, and OoT with Skyward Sword), a sequal (FFVII with Advent Children and OoT with Majora's Mask). Both their prequal and sequal are almost as successful as both OoT and FFVII are. You see what I'm saying here? FFVII and OoT are pretty much identical to one-another in almost every way. Ironic, isn't it? I can see why a lot of people like to compare both games to each other. They are like identical twins. OoT is pretty much the most successful game on N64 while FFVII is the most successful game on PS1.
