Monty Oum, the creator of Dead Fantasy is creating a new show, called RWBY {Red White Black Yellow} so far, there is a trailer which showcase what I believe is Red, a girl based off of Little Red Riding hood. It's incredibly badass, and the soundtrack so far sounds amazing!

But, wouldn´t it be a better character grow that Yang comes to terms with her loss than her looking for an arm replacement?

Coming to terms with the loss comes first. But there's always gonna be a replacement.

Volume 4 will be a BIG wild card, there´re so many possiblities and directions they could go with (Yang, Weiss and Blake being the wildest card of all), these are my predictions:

 

Team RNJR will be on their way to Haven and we will probably get 2 or 3 episodes of them dealing with some monster of the week issue (and Jaune edgyness :wink: ) and they might reach destination by episode 8. 

 

Blake is likely trying to distance herself as much as possible from her friends to avoid getting them hurt (like Yang), she won´t return to the White Fang, though.

 

Now that the Ice Queen is back at Atlas, Weiss will get and arc where she will have come to terms with her father and probably accept studying in her motherland.

 

Yang....I have no idea where she´ll be going, I personally would like her not to get a prosthetic arm, she will remain fighting with 1 hand during the rest of the series.

 

Nora & Ren character development. They will explore their past with flashback episode.

 

There´s so much you can do, It would be better for me to stop think about it before I start entering in the FanFic territory.

 

Huh, those are all interesting things you just said!  Personally, I'm betting that Volume 4's gonna be equally dark as Volume 3, or maybe even darker!  If it turns out to be half dark and half lighthearted, I won't mind.  But with everything that's been set in place, it does seem like Volume 4 will be going to a darker place now.  I mean, think about it!  Ruby witnessed the deaths of two of her friends, and that's probably gonna affect her emotionally down the line, and as for Yang, I really want to see how she deals with the fact that she doesn't have an arm anymore.  I'm betting Ironwood's gonna supply her with a robotic replacement (A la Skywalker, har har. ) but I'm pretty sure she's not going to go back to being the same, happy go lucky Yang we've known so far.  She'll probably be different, and odds are we'll see her enter into a depressive state, but one that I'm sure she'll pull through, though, and become more mature because of it!

 

It's clear that lovely lil' Weiss doesn't get along with her dad, so it's gonna be interesting to see how she copes with being back in her home.  I'm betting we'll get more sisterly moments between her and Winter, ya know?  But yeah, we'll probably get more on Weiss's family, so that's a plus!  As for Blake, I'm looking forward to seeing what's next for her!  What path shall she go on, now that she's no longer with her friends, and she's clearly not going to run back to Adam?  She'll probably be on her lonesome for a bit, ya know?

 

As for Ren and Nora, I'm expecting cute moments from them, and as for Jaune, I'm expecting he'll enter into his badass mode, and after a couple of Episodes, he'll die a fiery death, ya know?  And well, I'm just looking forward to more character development overall, and I want to see Crow and the others, too!  And tons of action!

Me. (As stated a page or two before.)I still need to read the latest chapter.

So guys, what do you all think will happen now in Volume 4?  Do you think that things will get worse for our young and brave heroes?  I mean, Ruby saw Penny and Pyrrha die, and I seriously doubt that chick's gonna brush off those deaths as if they were nothing, ya know?  I'm pretty sure those deaths will linger in her mind a long time...and I'm pretty sure Jaune's gonna be pretty depressed!  I mean, come on, with Pyrrha gone, he's not gonna be able to get laid with her! I wonder how Pyrrha's death is gonna affect him?

 

Also, anyone else thinks that Salem looks insanely and creepishly badass?

Anyone who plays Grimm Eclipse, they recently updated the game and it's a complete system overhaul in combat and cameras. It's pretty good.

-Camera is more whonky than ever.

-Combat feels slower, but more in depth.

-Much less hordes. Made the game easier.

-Rarely anyone invokes counters so you can use team attacks.

-RIP Reap, Wave, Uppercut, and Pierce specials.

-No variety in specials now.

-Meta: Spam R for reload gun shots, right-clicks for hard attacks, and the occasional special when needed.

 

I see what they were trying to do, but made other mechanics suffer in the process.

 

Tldr: One step forward, one step back.

Rwby news is gonna appear in the RWBY topic dude. Id rather know about it then be ignorant of it happening. When i went to see the vol 2 marathon at alamo drafthouse i was surrounded by RWBY and rooster teeth fans and discussed RT, anime and achievement hunter stuff with them all in person instead of on a computer with people i cant see. Whats more i made a lot of friends that night and still talk with them today. Thats tons better then being alone with a DVD.

Because owning the DVD implies that I'm watching it alone.  I'm just pointing out that I personally don't find it worth paying more than what I paid for the DVD. Just give me the Volume 3 DVD and I'll be on my merry way.

Also the the theater locations are shitty at best. There's only 3 in NY/the 5 boroughs, which are 2 hours bus+subway rides. Did I mention it's near or at bad neighborhoods? So discouraging on top of the fact I rather watch them on my 50 inch TV.

 

I'm a big RWBY fan and I feel this is pointless. The 25% discount and exclusive merch is alright, but then I'm left with a ticket I won't use lol.

 

Edit: FYI the events need at least 50 people attending according to the site. Assuming this is the case, then I feel bad for the 3 people who paid already for one of the events "near" me.

You don't pay for it until the event is approved, it's similar to what they did with Lazer Team, if an event isn't approved everyone who already got in gets a refund, or they might do with what they did with Lazer Team again and if it gets close then they just might let it happen anyway

Yeah, but what I mean is that they will feel disappointed that it doesn't happen if it doesn't reach at/near those numbers.

Neat in a sense, but I don't really see it being big and all considering most of us watch Vol.1 at least multiple times.

RT is the only thing you should take seriously on this day. (Hint: the day it was made.)I wanted to hug chibi Ruby upon seeing that. I hope that month is when they show the pseudo nendoroid prototypes of team RWBY. My money will secure them all.
