If you're good friends with them, you've got nothing to worry about. Somebody can't just up and forget their friends.

unless they all get amnesia. Then we've got a problem on our hands O_O

Friends can slowly drift apart by change of interests and such but they cannot immediately forget each other. Just stay being a friend and that shouldn't happen.

Even if they did have Amnesia, they would to some extent recognize their friends.

Indeed :].

people can do that?

what if they had amnesia and were wearing a blindfold?

this is dangerously cheesy but i have friends that went to university and i have spoken to in almost 2 years but i know that sometimes i think how there doing and them me...and after that im good

Of course they can.

why would they be wearing a blindfold?

surprise amnesia party?

They probably will. Unless you make an effort to avoid that. That's all it really takes; effort. But yeah, if one of your or your friends doesn't make an effort, you will grow apart and forget each other

I'm more afraid I'll go and make no new friends at all, have to spend my lunchtimes and class times alone by myself while everyone else becomes closer.

Unless i'm drunk (or unusally happy) I can rarely freely engage with other people. I'm so afraid of them judging me prematurely without getting to know me that I can never be myself and the only impression I leave is "quiet, shy, smart, nerd".

Most my current friends were a year or so older than me, and my best friend is in another school so I've pretty much lost those closest to me. The people I hang out with now or talk to really don't care if I'm there or not, apart from one person who IS a good friend, but shallow in the way she would jump to a new friend when she gets the chance cause she thinks she's above you.

God, I started rambling. TBH if you won't regularly see each other and neither make an effort to have a proper conversation (even a email chat) daily, you will probably end up forgetting each other. A lot of people say when you go into Secondary school "Don't worry if your primary school friends aren't going to the same one, the friends you keep for life will be made in Secondary School", but in reality, you're more likely to keep college friends for life, especially if you all live in a dorm together.

Friends tend to remember you anyway they can. I have friends who didn't talk to me for the past 5 years after we've graduated from high school but we still remember each other after bumping into each other or what not.

Same goes for college. You might not see them due to haveing different subjects but they will still remember you one way or another.

Don't be scared. The least you could do is remember them as well.
