I was reading interviews last night when I came across the notion that western audiences think that someone does not get a heart until after that person is born.  What are your thoughts on this?  I was thinking it was kinda like how Nobodies can grow their own hearts.

Aren't the heart and stuff developed before birth? I'm pretty sure a lot of ultra sound stuff (i'm not very good with that stuff xD) shows a heart beat and stuff right?

Check that site again. It doesn't sound right

I think heart in that sense has more to do with the essence of feeling, not the actual physical heart (kind of like the heart on the KH series)

Again, it's a belief, not truth. It's scientifically proved(And has been for a long time) That all vital organs are formed prior to birth, so of course it's not true. But there's probably another sense to interpret it.

Oh and also try e-bay. They might have it

...what

well then that might make sense

the topic said "where does one get a heart" so i said, you know. Ah forget it

KH physics appear to support the idea someone can develop a heart before they're born.  The mother and father thinking about their baby would probably allow it to develop its own heart, and after the baby's born, its heart could be fully cultivated since now the baby can properly interact with the world.  So I guess we know what KH's views are on certain political issues.

Did you check the section this is in?  I'm talking about a heart in KH.

If you're talking about the heart, like in KH, about how people feel, than my opinion is that it only grows after you're born. It's the experiences that makes us who we are, so in that sense, you can nurture and develop the heart that way. But that goes deeper than this, of course.

i agree with a lot of stuff KH proposes. Of course, you have to extract something out of all that. But I do agree about this. It has a lot to do with all those notions and ideals from Philosophy we study. It's really cool (at least for me)

one does not truly have a heart until they have earned one by either

1. protecting something or someone they love

2. or by plain and simply caring for someone truly and deeply

Well, since before birth, the baby already has a connection to something, (Parent's love)so a heart should already be there.

There isn't much in it, but it's at least being developed.

Lol I think the're talking about a KH style heart.

As Xemnas said,Nobodies can nurtured it to born hearts and not just that, the seperation between heartless and nobody was just a temporarily...

I don't think you'd be able to be alive in the womb without one..so I think it develops wayyyyy before your born sometime after the Madam gets pregnant :O

The "heart" in Kingdom Hearts is created upon birth as seen in BbS when Sora's heart comes into contact with Ven at the moment the former's of birth. "I'm a brand new heart." But the heart is empty and undeveloped until it is nurtured and matured through bonds with others and personal experiences.
