Censoring f*ck with firetrucking is also something I find stupid. You're not censoring a so called curse word. You're taking a new word and making that a curse word as well. There are no real curse words in my opinion. Just old people raising their kids to believe certain words are bad. If what I heard is correct then saying the word butt was a bad thing many years ago. That isn't the case anymore and shouldn't be for any other words either.

Because people get but hurt easily and saying f**k, fa**ot or re**rd, can set them off. 

 

Personally I don't really like gentleman or awesome as they are derogatory terms, but firetruck isn't really that bad.

I really don't see the problem with curse words, unless it's a way to respect someone then I get that. Other than that, curse words are just words to use for fun or when you are seriously pissed at someone. 

 

Like Amon said, some derogatory words I get how it offends someone...but firetruck isn't horrible.
