LOL This is old news but yeah it's true .That and the fact that the world has been predicted to end many many times yet we are still here . Go figure

Also...

The Mayan calender didn't just write up to 2012 and end at the 21st.  That was where their calender ended, and it cycled again, much like on December 30th being the end of our calender, and cycling back starting with Janurary.  The 21st of December was the end of their winter solstice.

Also I'm not sure if this is true but there apparently was another one and is predicted to end in another 5000 years not sure if true though
