what do you think of book burnings

Featured Replies

Completely stupid and a waste of time >.> and trees D:<

Well I hope that the people doing it are smart enough to not buy the books from the companies that publish them. Otherwise, have fun supporting the people that brought something you don't like into the world -___-

That's just terrible. A waste of perfectly good books.

depends, are we burning twilight novels?

Hmm kinda makes me want to strangle the person burning books for no reason.

depends on the book. If they are good books those guys can rot in hell, if they are bad ill go easy on them, if its Twilight ill be cheering in the crowd

It's pretty stupid, just as bad as burning beatles albums.

Burning Beatles Albums is worse ._.

we've learned our lesson from Farenheit 451

People really don't burn books unless they're trying to hurt or insult someone--like burning the Bible or the Q'uaran or the Upanishads ect.

It depends on the book, but personally I think it's a huge waste.  And, as Think Pink pointed out, book burnings are usually to insult a group or movement of people.
