I just made the same mistake as you and only now saw your reply. Because I'm a glutton for punishment I've heard before that bravery isn't not having fear, it's going through with something while still being scared. And yeah people have different limits. For instance I watched the Silent Hill movie with my friend and it scared him but it made me laugh and I actually thought one of the monsters was kind of cute.
