I have seen multiple topics on the KH3 storyline and I figured it's time to clear everything up.

 

1. Roxas, Namine, and Xion are not coming back. They went back to Sora and Kairi so they will not be part of the seven lights.

 

2. It has been foretold the the seven lights are Ventus, Terra, Aqua, Sora, Riku, Kairi, and Mickey. Terra will indeed return, but it will be difficult. It wouldn't be right for him not to return. Besides, he said to Master Xehanort "You're gonna get shown the door old man".

 

3. Roxas is Ventus reborn without the memories. How can he show sorrow when Xion went back to Sora if he had no heart. Xemnas said that some had signs of a replacement, but when Sora released his heart, he released Ventus and Kairi. Remember, Ventus did not lose his heart the way Xigbar (one of the 13 darknesses) and everyone else in the organization did.

 

That is all. Comment and mention anything I might have missed and constructive criticism please.

I agree on everything here except your opinion that Roxas is Ventus reborn. They may look the same and even have the same heart, but Roxas is still his own person.

I don't think you can say Roxas, Namine and Xion are not coming back. In my opinion, they are coming back actually. Nomura made that whole "Nobodies grow hearts" so they could return. Coded and 3D hinted this, at least that's what I got.

No one foretold this group would return. The opening suggests Soraa, Riku, Roxas, Mickey, Terra, Aqua and Ven, while Yen Sid is preparing a group with Lea and Kairi instead of Roxas and Terra. I think you kinda mixed...

And Roxas is not Ventus reborn... They look alike because of their connection to Sora. Since Ven's heart was in Sora, when the latter became a heartless, Ventus' heart that was deepily connected to Sora's body, became Roxas. Yes, Roxas had Ven's heart, but he's not him reborn...

As kingdom Hearts fans nobody is not left behind and if they do leave a certain character behind "Then the game is considered terrible ".Yeah no. Face the facts guys NOT EVERY CHARACTER IS COMING BACK It wouldn't be good if nobody dies or Everyone is back. Terra is screwed. Ven idk anymore. Roxas in Sora. Xion fuse with Roxas. Data Riku is screwed. Ect. Btw be a bit more respectful towards one opinions or theories.

I just have to wonder, why give Axle (I refuse to call him Lea) a Keyblade when he's not one of the seven? Either they're messing with our heads or he is one of the seven. Or there might even be more to the prophecy.

He can be either a temp or legitimately one of the seven. Despite the constant claims of legitimacy as to who the seven are it's not really confirmed and we're not meant to find out until KH3. Lea (I'm not used to calling him that either, but what are you going to do? *rhetorical*) specifically wants a Keyblade to get Roxas (and Xion) back though.

Where has it been foretold? You mean mickey saying THEN THE 7TH WOULD BE, and then Lea getting a keyblade or Kairi showing up in the secret ending? Because if so there's about a billion threads that are still discussing who it could be. It's possible that Terra will return, but I thought Terra was just referincing MX's fate as Ansem SOD at the end of Kh1. Getting owned by the door and LIGHT. I feel like I read that on the Kh wiki too, but I guess it's open to interpretation.

 

I don't think anything will be cleared up until Kh3, and that's even assuming Nomura wants to explain it then. I took it as Roxas had a head start in the growing hearts race, because Ven's fractured heart was there. If that is how it was, Ven's heart might have shaped him a little bit, but if they ever were both saved I'd imagine Roxas would have enough of his own personality to carry on. After all, they aren't exactly the same. After 357 days I would think Roxas on his own would have enough of a heart to cry. If you are right then it would really confusing since there would be 3 Roxas's basically, my reason for saying that is there was Roxas in 358/2 days and then Roxas in the virtual Twilight town. By the end of those last 7 days he remembered his experiences in the org. but he still cried through Sora when he left TT, and unless Roxas was crying about the one day he had a vacation and met Hayner, Pence, and Olette, he still considers them close friends even if he never really knew them that well. If they wake up Ventus and he has all of Roxas's experiences I dunno who he would decide to be, since if he had both personalities memories is he even either of them now? All of this is really confusing and there is a similar issue going on in the Spider-Man comics right now.

 

I discussed this whole issue of identity in another thread the other day: We might not ever know, the whole issue of Xehanort becoming a heartless and keeping his sense of self while at the same time Xemnas still felt he was Xehanort made me wonder if the nobodies just accept the memories as who they are even if they aren't actually that person. Roxas just makes it even more confusing since he didn't have any memories when he was created, and he doesn't feel that he is Sora. It's all very complex and possibly dark to think that Sora ceased to exist when he became a heartless and just thinks he is still Sora. That's getting into science and stuff though which might not play a role here, we just have to suspend disbelief and have faith that everything is wonderful.

1. They're coming back at some point (at least I believe, the plot points towards it), whether or not it's before Xehanort's plan goes into effect is up in the air.

2. It hasn't been "foretold" who the seven lights are. The X-blade was split into 7 Lights (the Princesses) and 13 Darknesses. There are 7 Guardians of the Light that protect the Princesses. Nothing specific is known other than that. I think Terra is still serving as Xehanort's body somewhere in all of those many -norts.  I have a feeling he'll be the last to be saved and Lea will be in his place instead.

3. Roxas had Ven's dormant heart within him which caused his appearance and his emotions to a degree while Roxas' own heart grew over time. Roxas is not Ven just like he is not Sora.

I WANT #1 to be true. Personally I think the whole "nobodies can grow hearts" thing is crap. But then again, I didn't make KH.

I don't really know how to give constructive criticism to someone who is stating something that hasn't been confirmed as fact. If you forgot Lea got a keyblade too. I GUESS THAT MEANS THERE IS 8 7 LIGHTS.

Look, I believe all of us know one thing, just as Rob said, it is debatable. At the end of the day, we all have our opinions about these things, but we know that Nomura will reveal exactly who the seventh light is or other things as such. Overall, we don't know until KH3.
