January 9, 201312 yr When it comes to games that only work with a 4-direction movement, I prefer the D-pad. But with more modern games, I prefer the stick.
January 9, 201312 yr I could not imagine using the analog for a fighting game, it just feels weirdo But I prefer analog when it comes to full on 3D.
January 9, 201312 yr Depends on game, but generally I go with analog when it comes to most of PS3 games I play.
January 9, 201312 yr D-pads only support movement in 4 directions, 8 if they allow two buttons to be pressed at once. Analog sticks support motion in an infinite number of directions (due to being circular and all). It's clear which is better.
January 9, 201312 yr Not sure why people aren't choosing depends on the game. I wouldn't play a 2D platformer with an analog stick, and I wouldn't played a 3D one with a D Pad D-pads only support movement in 4 directions, 8 if they allow two buttons to be pressed at once. Analog sticks support motion in an infinite number of directions (due to being circular and all). It's clear which is better. 360 directions*
January 9, 201312 yr I use the D-Pad, especially when I'm playing KH. Funnily enough, Sora never seems to want to move when I try to make him.
January 9, 201312 yr Depends on the game This. WASD, seeing as I am a pc gamer. How did you end up playing Kh? D-Pad only for Fighting game. I use the D-Pad, especially when I'm playing KH. Funnily enough, Sora never seems to want to move when I try to make him.
January 9, 201312 yr Depends on the game really. I guess analog stick, seeing as how most of the games I play are better with/require analog control.
I generally use the D-pad.
