So has any body else notice that as the Kingdom Hearts series goes on sora loses intelligence with each game?

You're right. When Sora spoke to Xemnas and Brag, he was epic by saying everythign abotu the heart and his friends.

Yes, the exact scene i was thinking when I wrote!

"Hearts are made of the people we meet. And how we feel about them. They're what ties us together, even when we're apart! They're what... make me strong!" EPICEPICEPICEPICEPIC

Well in CoM, his memories was getting played around with. And what moments in KH2 are you talking about? (plus Sora looks the best in KH2) In 3D, Sora was pretty smart when talking to Xigbar and Xemnas.

I meant after CoM because there I can understand. I never found him dumb there.

-Prancing around in a circle.

-Being told by, Hades, A.K.A the God of the Dead, to not touch something in his domain only to touch it anyway and get electrocuted.

-His, uh,..."computer skills".

-He can jump up and across things and land from amazing heights but forgets and gets scared to jump over a gorge by himself.

-Santa!

-General big talk that gets him in to trouble like getting flicked in the face and knocked on his ass.

-Some other stuff I can't remember off the top off my head.

Though I disagree with Sora looking best in KH2. I think it was to you I told this before but I found his outfit to be horrid. It was just a cluster firetruck of...stuff. His model looked better than in previous games but I think his new (younger) model looks better than the KH2 one. I think he looks best in 3D.

Admittedly most of the going-ons of 3D I know by word of mouth. Though if Sora thinking that Neku's name was "Dream Eaters" is something to go by...he doesn't sound too promising imo.

aaahn...first Terra trusted Master Xehanort...you should never trust an old bald and with an evil laugh man...Ventus  is kinda naive, just like Sora and Aqua...ok...Aqua is smart, I really like her!

There wasn't really any reason for him not to trust Xehanort tho. He had trained with Eraqus and he was also a Master, Eraqus was wary of him but Terra, Ventus, and Aqua didn't know anything about that. People can be tricked without being stupid.

KH3D. Nuff said.

No, I've never questioned it.

And yet, Sora's the only one who seemed to catch on that Xehanort is the villain...

it's amazing that Mickey is made to be the smarter one, yet, quite frankly, he has never done anything remotely intelligent in this series.

When Sora stepped out of the pod and started dancing in circles with Donald and Goofy, I kind of lost my hope in him ever improving...

Hahaha when I saw that, I was like, Posted Image

at least he casts a good Stopga, not that it does anything.  that requires a good Intelligence stat to Stop a boss, even for a couple seconds.  Not even I can do that...

Stopza*

and you're thinking of the wrong company. In FF, and by extension KH the potency of a status effect is determined by the immunity of the enemy, not the INT of the character (INT isn't even a stat in a lot of the games)

fine, fine.  But wait, I figured it out.  Mickey has the cutscene power...

Maybe because nitpicking or being negative about an iconic disney character is unpopular.

And yet, Sora's the only one who seemed to catch on that Xehanort is the villain...

Can someone show me a video when Sora realizes that Xehanort is the villain?

  • 3 weeks later...

It seems that way. Hopefully in KH3 it'll be back to the way it used to be if not smarter.
