What I'm afraid of KH3.

Recommended Posts

Everyone is waiting for the last game of the "season 1" of the Kingdom Hearts series but there are some things that "afraid" me.

I'm afraid that Roxas, Xion and Naminé don't come back...

I'm afraid that they fail to save Terra, Aqua or Ventus.

I'm afraid that someone fades or even dies...

Bad ending.

... Well... We know that KH3D, even tough is a good game, is... half the good that other games were. The cutscenes were WAY too small and Sora coudl understand anything in 5 seconds flat... They rushed the game ALOT.

Eh, characters never die forever they always seem to keep coming back. I am also afraid of a bad ending, if they screw it up I'm going to cry.

There are numerous hints so far that none of these will happen, except maybe someone fading or dying.  If there's any doubt, keep this in mind: we're talking about Kingdom Hearts here.

Riku is an antro character. Antro character are meant to die...

Examples:

Darth Vader

Snape

etc...

What is "antro."  Do you mean anti-hero?  If so, they're not supposed to die, it's just common for them to do so.  Second, he's not even an anti-hero anymore, though he was before.  Third, do you think a franchise like Kingdom Hearts would ever do that to a main character, especially one who's developed so much?  After all that, it's not likely him dying would be meaningful and significant, just dying for the sake of making people sad.

Someone should die. The fact that everyone is coming back to life kind of ruins the fact that they died. It removes the emotions of their death. For example, in crisis core, Zack dies and he stays dead. Yes I know that he had to stay dead because he's dead in ff7, but the love everyone has for his character wouldn't be the same if he was brought back to life in a cheap manner.

It was emotiona packed when Roxas 'died', Xion died and Axel died. Maybe not everyone should come back. I'm not even going to mention the impending stupid reasons they'll come up with to distinguish Roxas and Ven, one of them shouldn't come back, not fully anyway. Maybe Roxas should return as a sort of limit form of Sora's.

I don't want another stupid thing like calling the "x-blade" "keyblade". Yes I know that's how it's pronounced, but it's the exact same as the normal keyblade's name!!! So let's avoid stupid reasons for unnecessarily I bringing everyone back to life.

tl;dr some people should stay dead.

It's Kingdom Hearts three. It's going to be amazing, as they've shown their true potential in Deep Dive for instance. Nomura is a genius, he's going to make it awesome, trust me lol.

So it's bad thing that they would make things more dramatic by making someone die? okay lets just go with happy disney princess ending where everything goes right and even unicorns fly on the sky.

And please no, I don't want to have Roxas, Xion or Namine back.

It would be incredibly stupid if no one dies.

How would it be stupid?  What is stupid is someone dying simply for the sake of being dramatic and to avoid an overly happy ending, not because it will inherently be meaningful.  I'm not saying it won't happen (but c'mon, it's not likely in a series like KH), but it wouldn't necessarily be a bad thing if it didn't.

Because think about it. There's going to be a endless amount of Kh games where the good guys never die while all the bad guys die and turn into nothing. It kinda sucks to think that throughout the entire series (I'm implying to the future games ) That no one is going to die. It's going to be the same cycle were the character learns the enemy, save a character, then kill the enemy throughout the franchise.

Plus there is no way in hell all the lights will survive against the darknesses whithout either dying or taking critical damage.

Most of these probably won't happen. Fading might happen but even then I think it's unlikely and if it does happen it'd be only a few people. And dying I can see happening oWO
