Is the best god damn game EVER

Seriously, this game is criminally under appreciated. The humour is great, teh gaemplay is great, it has a great aesthetic, the music is done by YOKO MOTHERfiretruckING SHIMOMURA

It's basically a mashup of Pikmin, Animal Crossing, the Sims, classic RPGs, and its own unique flavour. You play as a little king with a magic mind controlling crown and scepter, and set out to conquer your neighbors, win the hearts of over half a baker's dozen of princess' and build a flying machine

You have a wide range of civilians, such as knights, chefs, lumberjacks, magicians and such, who can all help explore the world, expand your kingdom, and fight monsters.

There's tonnes of content, in teh form of a massive catalogue of side quests and optional objectives

It's RIDCULOUSLY memorable. One of the first bosses is a game of pinball where you roll a fat king into a fork to pop him. Another is a trivia show where the punishment for failure is to take palce in a dangerous show, such as a cooking show where you'll be assaulted by cutlery, or a World War IIII show where you are attacked by DYING SOLDIERS

And it has the most meta twist imaginable at the end, in fact, tehre's so much to the ending, but I won't spoil it...

Also this game is really funny, and clever

Well now that I think about it, I haven't even heard about this game before.... (the game sounds pretty fun though)  

It must be either badly advertised game or one of those great games that are released on same time with those big AAA titles and then it gets no attention.

It was made by Xseed, and the company that actually created the game is now defunct. So yeah, not a lot of money to throw around.
