What i dont understand about DDD is why are there two sleeping worlds with King Mickey in them dont get me wrong i love the worlds but im finding it hard to understand can someone explain ??

Well, I thought that the sleeping worlds were plucked from different points in time, considering how Traverse Town was there even though the end of KH1 basically concluded that since the consumed worlds were restored (so TT would have split up each remaining part of the worlds returning to their original).

So I would say that there are 2 mickeys because they're from different times, Country of Musketeers where he appeared first and meets Minnie, then after he became a full-fledged musketeer he probably met Yen Sid who made him a keyblade wielder and he then went to The Mysterious Tower to train under his guidance

To be honest, just about EVERYTHING confused me from DDD.  But all I can think of is that King Mickey was present in The Country of the Musketeers and the Symphony of Sorcery because they were taking place in different timelines.  There was something odd about the flow of time and the way it flowed faster/stopped in worlds, so it might be possible.

Curious to see what others say, since my answer's far from scientific. :D

I think it's like this:

Mickey visited Country of Musketeers some time in his past (to do something as he said himself) and then some time later, that world was destoryed by heartless. Now the Country of Musketeers is dreaming about the events that took place during Mickey's visit. It's clear he's not the real Mickey, and since the real mickey never got to meet Sora in this world, they don't remeber each other.

I'm not sure how Yen Sid's tower is both awake and sleep, but I presumed they're "different versions" of it, and the one's sleeping is again dreaming about Mickey, the time he was an apprentice, and used Yen Sid's hat and caused a lot of trouble.

i just made theories, it's not clearly explained...

I just figured Mickey went to the two worlds at different times in his life and they both happen to be dreaming about him.

Mickey's got it going on.

Yen Sid explains this to Sora and Riku.

I agree with Rob. Yen Sid does explain this to Sora and Riku.

These are not the same Mickeys. They're two different ones.
