I plan to Platinum XIII in 2014.

I think it'll take more than a week. Lol. Training is always required in Final Fantasy games. I did a ton of training at the start of FF X-2 and it made the game so easy.

It took me a little over a week in total. But i did it in seperate periods. I played the game non stop up to the end of Ch. 4, when i got bored of the linear gameplay and stopped playing for a week, then i came back to it.

 

There's no need to grind in the beginning of the game, until you beat the first Fal'cie boss. Thats when you start gaining EXP(CP in XIII). Before then, you get no CP for battle, so you should just try to escape the battles, since there's really no point to fight them at that point in the game.

 

Also, the game gets better once you get to Ch. 11, when you can actually do side quests.

My focus is now getting PSN trophies in Madden NFL 13. The only ones left I'm getting are the ones you get from completing online matches. I already have the first two which leaves seven bronze and one gold trophy to get. 

 

After I get them I will finally play FINAL FANTASY XIII. And unless I get a game between now and mid September, I will be playing HD 1.5 ReMIX after FF XIII. 

 

The order I will be completing games is below. This will only change if I purchase another game or Pokemon X/Y is released before FINAL FANTASY X/X-2 HD Remaster.
