How I could of made my attack on the pro-bending tournament better

I gained a lot of support when I attacked the Pro-Bending tournament from non-benders who were still undecided on whether or not to support my cause. However, it was not nearly enough. I feel that I could of avoided the Battle of Republic City entirely and have Avatar Korra turn herself in if I did the following. 

 

First all the metal bending cops start getting zapped. Then all the lights go out and a single spotlight shines on the center of the arena and as I rise out of the floor this music starts playing. 

 

 

And then I begin my speech, my lieutenant will also join in. 

 

Amon: Prepare for trouble!

Lieut: And make it double!

Amon: To protect the world from bender oppression!

Lieut: To unite all non benders within this nation!

Amon: To denounce the evils of balance and harmony!

Lieut: To conquer our foes with our glorious army!

Amon: Amon!

Lieut: Lieutenant! 

Amon: Team Equalist blast off at the speed of light!

Lieut: Surrender now or prepare to fight! 

Turtle Duck: Turtle Duck! That's right! 

So that will be my entire speech, and I have decided to make Turtle Ducks the official Equalist mascot because they are so damn cute and that will certainly boost our approval ratings.

It might be a good idea to go with a plan that won't end my combustion like last time, but I'm still going to have turtle ducks.

We'd never stand a chance with that turtle duck. A very nice plan. You should do it next time.
