February 25, 201312 yr Author Yea Batman, why did you post that? >:L I miss the old Spiderman, this reboot stuff is crap. I wouldn't say the reboot is crap, but you are entitled to your own opinion. This Peter Parker is way better than Sam Raimi's Peter Parker. He was annoying and wasn't very appealing as a character, especially in Spider-man 3. Edited February 25, 201312 yr by Namikaze

Yeah but the Original Peter Parker was a shy nerdy guy and not a wannabe skaterboy who's high intellectual for no reason :0I also prefer the old Spider Man too... First I was excited to see the Reboot, but after watching, it was just ... crap x: The Story was totally rushed and just not good.I hope the 2nd will be better, but I'm not expecting much Edited February 25, 201312 yr by VanitasTheBest

Rushed? The first sam Raimi movie was rushed. There was no time for Peter to develop as a character at all. The reboot probably showed Peter more nerdy than he was in Raimi's. Raimi's Peter, Oh yeah he has glasses and a camera, plus some clips of him writing down stuff and raising his hand in class, how convincing. Peter is supposed to be smart and the reboot showed that more then Sam Raimi's did. Edited February 25, 201312 yr by Namikaze

Now tell me where Peter Parker in the reboot was shown as the Peter in the ORIGINAL Comics. The Reboot Peter was just like a freaking Hipster o.O He was nothing like Peter Parker used to be or SHOULD be. I don't know if you really know the First Movie, but it's totally unnecessary to say the Reboot let Peter Parker more time to develop from himself to Spider Man, because it happened in less then 10 minutes. "Yay Ben's dead and I was bitten by an Radioactive Spider, I call myself Spider Man now"Just sayin that I think the first Movies were much better, nothing to discuss about ;o
February 25, 201312 yr While amazing spider-man as it's problems, it's big improvement over what Raimi did. The original spider-man movie doesn't age well, It's very cliche and goofy like it was from silver-age of comics which while origin is from that time it didn't update to the times and it lacked humor. I like new costume and the eyes look better than first amazing movie.

It happening in 10 minutes isn't very good. We got to see more peter and more uncle ben. Peter should be nothing like Sam Raimi's Spiderman. Spider-man 3 anyone? The original movies were not much better. Also How was he a freaking Hipster? Because he wore black framed glasses? Because so did the one in Raimi's films. Also Gwen Stacey. Raimi's Spider-man did a terrible job with her. You couldn't even recognize that it was supposed to be gwen stacey. It was a waste of the character.
February 25, 201312 yr I preferred it when Toby McGuire was playing Spiderman... I love you The first spiderman was better ( why do they have to f*** it up D:) and I love you.And whoever else said or agrees that the original was better I also love you ;P Edited February 25, 201312 yr by Rainbow Dash
February 25, 201312 yr Okay... I'll admit. That is a sexy outfit. I loved the suit in the first TASM, but I like this too. Looks like a delightful combo of the Raimi suit, and the ultimate suit.
February 25, 201312 yr I love you and I love you.And whoever else said or agrees that the original was better I also love you ;P i love you for agreeing with me :>
February 25, 201312 yr I grew up with the original movie. And I love it. It is nostalgiac for me, it is a symbol of my childhood... And yet I still concede to the opinion that the reboot was better. Peter Parker actually had some substantial development as a character. In the Raimi Trilogy (RT), the 'development' is done with in the first 30 minutes. Hell, he's already out of high school in the first hour. M.J. was completely dull. I saw no quality in her character. Nothing about their relationship wad believable, and yet 75% of the plot is structured around that relationship. Gwen was a much better, much stronger, love interest. There was actually chemistry there. Spider-man himself was so much better in the way it was handled. He was actually a smartass, as he should be. His movement and his strategies made the 'He is now part Spider' element actually connect... The Lizard wasn't great of a villain though. I mean, I liked him, but I didn't invest in him like I did with Gobby. That they actually make something of Parkers parents is great. You can tell that they're gonna expand on that... it's very much inspired by the Ultimate comics, which is an awesome thing. In closing, I find the Webb film was just an all around more developed movie. I actually invested in the character, in the relationships... I just find it to be a much better representation of Spidey.
