So it begins.

 

I have gathered them here. They know nothing yet. That will change soon. I wonder how they will take to each other. Time will tell. Regardless, no more time can be wasted. The Experiment must now begin. Time to wake them up...

 

"Good morning. Welcome to the next part of your life."

 

The voice rang out in all of their ears. Earpieces, firmly attached in the ears of all of them. Inside came the unnerving and unnaturally changed voice on the other end. One by one, after hearing the voice, each of the subjects began to wake. Lying on the shore of a short beach was Yumi Yuki Ai, Ember Mors, Luce Angelo, Hazimie Azhar, and Rasiel Kasaragi. The wind blew over them as they lay sprawled over the sand in close proximity to each other. Just as they had been placed. Next to the beach was a mix of jungle and swamp that went deeper into the mainland. Besides that the beach was mostly barren. A wrecked fishing boat was rusted and decaying within walking distance, but nothing more. The waves lapped up on the shore softly...

 

Miles away lay an abandoned collection of bunkers and buildings. They surrounded an airstrip. Rusted machine parts lay strewn about, and any sign of activity at the airstrip had long since faded. On the ground in the middle of the airstrip lay several more people. Ren Cabret, Neisan, Kilek North, Tsuna Sasaki, and Sikota Urinakano. Two desolate bunkers flanked the airstrip they were on, with a control tower at the end of the strip. Forest flanked the airstrip on all sides, with a single winding road leading out. The wind cut through the trees and sliced past the bunkers onto the airstrip. Only the wind and the trees provided any sound to the desolate military installation...

 

Deep in the jungle was a pair of rusted jeeps parked next to a crumbling house. The jeeps were long past functioning, and their engines were removed recently as well. The house sat surrounded by the trees with a single road leading somewhere further into the jungle. Inside the house were the four other subjects; Robert Evans, Karu Kasaragi, Fulmen Aizen, Xander Steel, and Locke Stern. Part of the roof of the house had caved in, and most of the belongings and furniture were gone. Remaining in the house were a few pots and pans, and single picture in an imaculate frame on a table in the room where the four people were laying. Silence pervaded the house...

 

On this island the Experiment is to be conducted. The island itself is only a few miles across, but its jungles, beaches, and bunkers hold long-kept secrets. These people now find themselves as part of a deadly game. They will have to get to know each other, and work together to discover what is sought from them, and in the process they must learn what they seek themselves.

 

The voice buzzed through their earpeices once more.

 

"Time to wake up. The Experiment has begun. You won't want to be asleep for this... Wake up and meet your new friends... and enemies. Wake up...

 

...the game has begun."

Yumi sighed."Well I just want to be alone anyway..." She sighed.

"I'll just take Fully with me. Wait..Joshua? Where is he?" She shook her head.

"Ugh!" She muttered.

(HE'S BAACK~)

 

Humm appeared above Karu. His wings flapping at a blinding speed, there was a slight humming sound as he hovered upside down above the empathetic boy. "You seem tense about something." He dropped down in front of him and adopted a serious tone. "Can I help somehow?"

Karu stared at Humm for a second before shaking his head.

"It is okay, I've got it handled..." Karu said a bit doubtfully.

Rasiel gave a small smile at Humm, nodding her head.

"Yeah, we're okay. I've never seen you before...who are you?" she asked.

Humm smiled and rested his hands behind his head. "Name's Humm. Who are you two?" He had already begun to take interest in Rasiel.

 

(I don't intend to mess with the incest fandom, don't worry)

"Is everything alright, Yumi?" Fulmen asked, his face flickering with worry for a second, "I mean...eh, if you don't want me along, that's fine.." He whispered.

Dang it...I still feel so awkward! He thought, glad at least that his body was healed. He wasn't in tip-top shape, but he felt that he could at least continue on without causing anyone harm.

"But you're right..where'd that Joshua guy head off to..?"

"I am Rasiel Kasaragi and this is my secretly overprotective brother Karu Kasaragi." Rasiel stated.

"So why did you choose us to talk to, Humm?" Karu asked, staring at him.

"I dunno." Humm replied, he looked around. "Everyone else here is bigger than me so... Yeah." He turned towards the two doors. "We gonna' go through one of these?"

"And you will not be fallowing us." Karu stated.

Rasiel sighed at her brother again before looking back at Humm.

"So you came over her to talk to me for no reason?" Rasiel asked.

Yumi smiled at Fulmen."I want you to come with me..it's just you've been hurt a lot...and I don't want you to be hurt again." She said.

"Let's look for him before heading off." She said.

She turned to Humm. "Hey,I know another little kid." She said.

Xander was about to follow Karu And Ras before Karu turned to him and said not to follow them

 

"Hm" He nodded to Karu

 

Xander was a little confused but he could tell Karu was bothered by something serious

 

[He must have his reasons telling me to separate from them……]

 

Suddenly, a little bird boy showed up

 

[No way!! Not another one!!] Xander thought glaring at him [The last one turned into Crow and attacked Fulmen and Yumi. This one seems interested in Ras and Karu.. could that mean..??]

 

"Hey" He said to Humm "Why are you here??"

Joshua finally decided he'd walk in. But not who he'd go with. He strolled into a giant gaping hole in the wall from the battle earlier. (Another one?) Joshua thought to himself, spotting another bird mutant thing.

 

Isaac stood there calmly as he smoked his cigarette. Letting his arm flail down nonchalantly after. The speeding white strand quickly shred through Isaac's arm, ripping it completely off. But Isaac remain unfazed and not flinching. He reached into his pocket with a free hand amd pulled out a small white box-cartridge thing. "Look. I brought stitches." He said with a yawn. His blood and bones connected and formed back together where his arm was and now is again. When there was a bit of open skin, he applied the stitches and stood back up normally. He cracked his arm several times, each quite loud. "Alright then. Let's get to it." Isaac said. He began walking towards Ember.

(Ha Ha. You Can Never Be Too Careful With All These Sikota Offspring)

"WHAT!?" Luce roared. How had the man regenerated so quickly? Weren't healing factors just a Marvel comic fantasy? Then again, he and Ember were both unique and strange in their own way. Luce had no choice but to send swarm of plasma strands towards the man's torso, no matter how tired it would make him.

Humm turned to face the other guy. He shrugged his shoulders. "That's a pretty wired question. I dunno. Why are YOU here?"

Xander crossed his arms

 

"To protect this group.. my friends" He replied

 

He looked at Humm for a few seconds, then turned to walk towards Fulmen and Yumi

 

"Which door are you guys going through??" He asked quietly when he approached them

 

[We also need to discuss what to do with Humm.. But I have the feeling he'd hear us] Xander thought

Humm ignored the last comment. "Protect..." He pondered this. "You know what, that's why I'm here too. I've decided that now. What's your name anyway?"

He turned back to Humm

 

"I'm Xander" He said smiling a little "You wanna help protect this group, huh??" He said walking towards him

 

He held out a hand to Humm to shake his

 

"Then do it" He said looking him in the eye, still smiling "Show that you mean it"

Humm grinned. He grabbed Xander's hand with both of his and gave it on big shake. "Yes, sir!"

Yumi sighed shaking her head. "I just don't know." She said slowly.

She sighed. "This has gotten weird. Anyway,hey Joshua~" She smiled weakly.

"Just I hope is soon." She whispered.
