So it begins.

 

I have gathered them here. They know nothing yet. That will change soon. I wonder how they will take to each other. Time will tell. Regardless, no more time can be wasted. The Experiment must now begin. Time to wake them up...

 

"Good morning. Welcome to the next part of your life."

 

The voice rang out in all of their ears. Earpieces, firmly attached in the ears of all of them. Inside came the unnerving and unnaturally changed voice on the other end. One by one, after hearing the voice, each of the subjects began to wake. Lying on the shore of a short beach was Yumi Yuki Ai, Ember Mors, Luce Angelo, Hazimie Azhar, and Rasiel Kasaragi. The wind blew over them as they lay sprawled over the sand in close proximity to each other. Just as they had been placed. Next to the beach was a mix of jungle and swamp that went deeper into the mainland. Besides that the beach was mostly barren. A wrecked fishing boat was rusted and decaying within walking distance, but nothing more. The waves lapped up on the shore softly...

 

Miles away lay an abandoned collection of bunkers and buildings. They surrounded an airstrip. Rusted machine parts lay strewn about, and any sign of activity at the airstrip had long since faded. On the ground in the middle of the airstrip lay several more people. Ren Cabret, Neisan, Kilek North, Tsuna Sasaki, and Sikota Urinakano. Two desolate bunkers flanked the airstrip they were on, with a control tower at the end of the strip. Forest flanked the airstrip on all sides, with a single winding road leading out. The wind cut through the trees and sliced past the bunkers onto the airstrip. Only the wind and the trees provided any sound to the desolate military installation...

 

Deep in the jungle was a pair of rusted jeeps parked next to a crumbling house. The jeeps were long past functioning, and their engines were removed recently as well. The house sat surrounded by the trees with a single road leading somewhere further into the jungle. Inside the house were the four other subjects; Robert Evans, Karu Kasaragi, Fulmen Aizen, Xander Steel, and Locke Stern. Part of the roof of the house had caved in, and most of the belongings and furniture were gone. Remaining in the house were a few pots and pans, and single picture in an imaculate frame on a table in the room where the four people were laying. Silence pervaded the house...

 

On this island the Experiment is to be conducted. The island itself is only a few miles across, but its jungles, beaches, and bunkers hold long-kept secrets. These people now find themselves as part of a deadly game. They will have to get to know each other, and work together to discover what is sought from them, and in the process they must learn what they seek themselves.

 

The voice buzzed through their earpeices once more.

 

"Time to wake up. The Experiment has begun. You won't want to be asleep for this... Wake up and meet your new friends... and enemies. Wake up...

 

...the game has begun."

Fulmen, exhausted and sweating profusely from both the humid jungle air and the attack, still dashed away from the rotten, destroyed house. As he did, the man named Xi once again spoke- and Fulmen felt slightly relieved that they might have some time to themselves.

He quietly walked to where the drones laid destroyed and defeated, seeing Xander pull a jeep engine out of one of them.

"Sadly, I don't know and mechanic abilities. The best I feel that I could do is jump-starting the engine." Fulmen replied to Xander's question. Fulmen sat down at that, his head spinning.

As Hazimie went through the jungle,he saw two people (Fulmen and Xander)who is running away."Well,might as well having some fun...."Hazimie said as he began creating the music :

 

 

Most of the drones was being hear the music that Hazimie creates and try to approached him."Heh,come......i'll finish you all at once...."Hazimie said as he standing while all of the drone surrounding him."Heh,gotcha...."Hazimie said as he begins to enlarge the music volume and some of the drones destroyed one by one because of the effects of the music...

(Just to let you all know, I'm gone while you guys do most of the posting, so bear with me.)

 

Neisan got up from the dust. He looked at the powered-down tank. "This is all salvageable. Better get to work." After an hour or so of working (this explains my absence), Neisan had the tank mostly dismantled. Another half hour and Neisan had a back-mounted mega laser, better guns and shields, better armor, some servo motors in the limbs, and hydraulic pistons in the legs to help with jumping. With that, Neisan crashed through the trees back to the airstrip. There, he encountered a small group of other people. "Hello, who are you guys? Hey, is that bunker open?"

Sikota dropped down in front of Neisan. "Who are you?" he demanded, his yellow eyes piercing his soul. "What do you want?"

"My name is Neisan. I saw you and the sound guy fighting in the woods. I was about to intervene when those tanks came up. I think you could use my mechanical expertise if we encounter anything else like that."

"You would like to join us?" Sikota clarified. "Then prove yourself!"

 

He sweep kicked, knocking horizontally in the air, and Sikota pushed himself up with his hands, kicking him forward. Able to run faster than he flew, Sikot quickly caught up, grabbed him and threw him to the ground then jumped back.

 

"Care to retort?" He asked

Xander walked over to where fulmen was and sat down a few feet from him

He hadn't realized how tired he was after exerting himself to divert the missile

 

"Ehhh, we can worry about it later"

 

As he sat he gazed around at the incredible jungle

 

"What the??!!" He started when he noticed Rasiel

 

"Hey Fulmen, when did we get a chick??"

Mmm... an engine?... I said. For a moment, I just believed that someone would do the work... i mean... how hard is to put and engine on a vehicle... even if I tried to draw a vehicle for us... it would last only 4 minutes... then puff... vanished away like the machine gun. I got closer to Xander and Fulsen... they were arguing about the girl in the group.. It was funny... in some wierd way...

 

As I would need the power of Xander to lift that thing...

-Hey... I...I can put this thing to work...

Said this i began to draw tools for working on .... then i turned to Xander.

-Hey. Do you think you can help me lift the engine? I said to him.

Ember got up and walked down to the door, and opened it....

 

... and walked into a small room, its walls made of a cheap-looking metal. There were a few computers, all decommissioned, lining the wall to her left. On the opposite wall there were several tables, one of which was stacked with random objects; a globe, a broken compass, a lamp, and several decks of cards. Such object did not seem very useful or significant. On the other table sat several cans of food rations, though. There was a chalkboard pinned the wall behind the tables, in which several pictures were stuck on. The pictures look to date back to before the 50s and were all in black an white. All of them were single pictures of various young men and women, none of which looked like any major historical figures or anyone who could be recognized. Written on the board around them, dozen of times, was "F.O.". Again an again and again. The "F.O."s filled the chalkboard.

 

Besides the two walls there was the wall  opposite from where Ember had come in. A single door sat in the center of the wall. A plaque hung above the door, with only the words "Be Ready" engraved on it.

At the airstrip, there were two bunkers. Each had only a single door and no windows. One of the bunkers had the door barred shut with metal and seemingly sealed shut with a blow torch. The other, however, had a door that still looked functional, with a single key-hole under the knob.

"Hm??" Xander said as he turned toward the voice

"Oh, sure, just give me a second, Sai"

 

Xander got up off the ground, partially using his telekinesis to assist him. He felt stronger after that short break

 

He then reached out his hands towards the engine and lifted it using his telekinesis. He began moving it over to the jeep.

"Can you pop the hood??"

"What was that for? Rah!" Neisan got up, jumped into the air, and fired many shots at Sikota, then jumped back as we'll while continuing to fire. The mega laser on his back folded up and over his shoulder. A humming sound began to come from it as a light grew in the barrel.

Sikota saw 6 escape points. With Neisan's current position, the laser would close 4 of them. If he went low, he'd get an easy path toward Neisan but he could jump away. Only one option. Sikota jumped high.

Yumi kept running it was all she could do for now. Finally she saw a house. "Ah,hey,guys. Who made the lightning noise?" She asked stepping out of the woods.

She hoped the person if it was a person would be around. She tried calling again how that she could be seen. "Who made that lightning noise and anyone seen a girl named Rasiel..oh never mind,there she is with her boyfri-brother." She had stopped herself just in time.

Fulmen had sighed, watching as Xander and some other person went off to fix up a jeep. He stood up, dusting himself off. Fulmen wiped a bit of sweat off his face, glad that his suit was helping keep him cool. He turned though when someone else stepped out of the bordering jungle; asking for someone named Rasiel, and then questioning about someone who caused the lightning.

"Rasiel? Over there." Fulmen said, pointing to Rasiel, "As for the lightning, that was probably me."

Neisan's blasters had tracking algorithms. The moved themselves to the correct angle and opened fire again. The mega laser was nearly charged, and was making a loud humming sound. Then Neisan leaped higher than Sikota while firing down at him.

Yumi slightly smiled. "That's an epic feat." She said and walked over to him.

"I took down a heli." She told him proudly.

"I'm Yumi Yuki Ai." She said.

Sikota spun midair, using the wind generated from his wings, he was able to redirect the blasts in Neisan's direction. He began to fall, he spread his wings to slow his fall, it hurt his back pretty bad, he hit the ground pretty hard. "I hate tech." He said, readying himself for the laser blast.

Fulmen smiled slightly, "Name's Fulmen. Fulmen Aizen. As for me...I helped blow up those drones." Fulmen said, pointing to the ruined scarp metal that at one point was two dangerous military drones.

"However, taking out a helicopter? That's pretty sweet." Fulmen said, looking to Yumi with a bigger smile now. "What would that make your power?"

Neisan's shields sprang out from his arms, and he placed them in front of himself, deflecting the oncoming lasers. He began to fall. The humming from the mega laser had reached a peak. Neisan hit the ground, braced himself, and fired the mega laser straight at Sikota. A beam of white energy streaked forward, roaring with power.

"I do stuff with water. I can change it's state,even take ocean and use it." She told him.

"It's really epic." She said.

She yawned."Anyway,I'm tired now."

"Oh. That's cool." Fulmen replied; only then realizing how tired he too had become. "Wow.." He murmured upon this realization, stretching again. "I've only just realized how tired I am. By the way- if you haven't guessed, my power involves lightning and electricity." Fulmen explained to Yumi, yawning.

I need to keep my power in check. I've used it too much, and now I feel exhausted. Fulmen thought, looking down.

Robert walked over to one of the jeeps, the one Xander and Locke weren't working on, and examined it. After all, it was Xi, the nut job who had just tried to kill them, who wanted them to ride in these things in the first place. At first, there seemed to be nothing odd about the vehicle, except that it was really old and didn't have an engine. However, when he looked under one of the seats he found..... 

Sikota began to panic he folded his wings in front of him and blew most of the laser away and sustained some heavy damage. "Welcome..." He said. "Name's Sikota..." With that, he collapsed.

Xander began setting down the motor while waiting for Locke
As he did he thought he heard Fulmen's voice and turned that direction
 
"What The??!!??!!" He exclaimed once again, only more surprised this time
As he said this, the surprise caused him to drop the engine on the floor
 
"Two chicks now??!! How do I keep missing these things??"

Neisan's weapons immediately folded back into rest positions. He rushed forward and knelt down by Sikota. His helmet mask came up, revealing a worried face. "Who here knows anything about healing?! His wings are practically falling off! Oh dear, oh dear! I didn't mean to seriously hurt him!"
