I think so too. But seriously this is enough. We have had enough rumors about the game and now really its time for Square Enix to step up with this game and confirm the game's platform and the release date as soon as possible.

I wanted them to scrap it to begin with (or, on a happier note postpone it til KH3 is done?), the very few screenshots I've seen look great, but I can't fathom as to why you'd put off making the next big Kingdom Hearts game to make a game with a Kingdom hearts engine in another franchise.  

 

PS. I wouldn't be surprised if they moved it, it originally was meant to be on the PS2 AGES ago, but in reality by this time they should just get the bloody thing out.  

I just bought a PS3 for KH1.5, 2.5 and 3, and I was hoping to play this game in PS3 too, so I would like this wouldn't be for PS4, and the same with KH3.

 

I don't think they will move it, they've been working 7 years to make a perfect PS3 game...

It shouldnt be on PS4, FFv13 is meant for PS3 and is not named 15 because it's still part of the Fabulla Nova Crystallis series.

It is a rumor that's been circulating for awhile, but this one hasn't been shot down completely (the cancellation rumor was shot down).  Would it surprise me if it happens?  Not in the slightest, but I'd be kinda mad if I had to get a PS4 to play this game (which motivated me to buy a PS3 years ago)

Yea I understand. It would be great if all these arrive for PS3 but I doubt if Kingdom Hearts 3 will come for PS3 because it probably haven't even started developing yet because of FFv13. Actually I would say that KH3 will be better on PS4.

Yes, I know. But it's just I don't want to buy more consoles, not for a while. In 2011 I bought a PSP just for BbS and last year I bought a 3DS XL for KH3D and a PS3 when KH1.5 was announced. I won't buy a PS4 until, at least, 2-3 years, and I will only buy it if it has interesting games.

I don't believe the "Versus XIII" to "XV" part, but I do think the change to the PS4 is true. That would explain why it has taken so long to be made.

Whatever it takes to get the game out, so be it. Oh rumors.

XIII's mythos is to tie it with the Fabula Novallis Crystallis series(Or the FFXIII series for short), they'd have to remake the whole thing if its the next main title, with no connections to XIII at all, since they do that with every new Final Fantasy title.

 

Besides, all of the XIII games to date have been on PS3 except for Type 0, so Vs. XIII should stay on PS3. I mean, is Square really only gonna have 4 FF games on PS3?(Im counting the FFX remaster)

Well so far in the past trailers for FFVXIII, it seems that only PS3 is getting this, no news for Xbox 360, despite the fact that LR FFXIII is gonna be on Xbox regardless.

Nah, they've been saying this forever.  I seriously doubt this is true.  It's probably going to remain Final Fantasy Versus XIII because, as Spiderfreak kindly pointed out, it involves the Fabula Novallis Crystallis storyline, and if it's going to be FF XV, they'd have to scrap the story entirely.

I mean seriously guys, think about it!!! If this game was gonna be changed to FF XV, the story would have to be remade from scratch with a whole new World, battle system, cast and everything. That's what they do with EVERY NEW NUMBERED FINAL FANTASY TITLE.

 

I mean besides, Vs. XIII has been overhyped for over 6 years, it would be an incredibly stupid move for Square to cancel it and just make a new numbered title instead. :mellow:
