OOC: For this arc of the rp to end, all the villains will have to be defeated and jailed. When the villain is jailed, they are done for the rest of the rp. But when I make the next arc, they'll be able to come back if you want.

Sylar strolled through the City streets. It was a perfect day, when anything could be possible. He looked down at the note he had written himself. "Three Grace Way. I think I've arrived." Sylar spoke, and turned to the house on his left. He walked up to the door, and used his telekinesis to pick the lock. He entered the house silently, and closed the door behind him.

The Count is walking from the harbor. He takes his top hat off, and looks around the city streets. "Quite amazing if I do say so myself." he says to himself, commenting o the tall buildings of the City.

Yui stepped off the bus at the bus stop with her duffel bag slung over her shoulder and looked up. Wow this City is huge, she thought as the bus behind her slowly started driving away with the smell of burning gasoline behind it. The place felt lively. Yui stuck her hand in her pocket and pulled out a small piece of paper, which had the address to the apartment she was staying in. I guess I should get going, she thought and started to make her way down the sidewalk.

Paul slowly opened his eyes and stood up. "Where am I?" he asked, and looked around. He was standing in the middle of a dark allyway, or at least it would be dark if it was night time, next to a large dumpster. He tried to remember how he got here, but couldn't remember. Now that he thought about it, he couldn't remember anything at all. "Wait. who am I?" He tried to remember something, anything, but all that came to mind was a single name, Paul. He didn't know why, but he was sure the name was his.

David stepped into the warehouse he had bought through several shell companies. It was out of the way in a little used section of the city. He would have preferred to set up a more traditional corporate office somewhere, but from what he had read about the area, it wasn't a good idea. He set his bag in what he guessed once was the foremen's office, looking out over the empty warehouse. He pulled out several digital security cameras, gas grenades and some tripwires, and set to work fortifying his new HQ.

Gunshots whizzing by, the lights are way to bright for him to make a jump.  He was surrounded three large men started making their way through the bank shot guns in hand as they approached Jake and the other hostages.  Jake reached behind him knowing his body towards the light had cast a shadow.  His arm practically went through the ground as he pulled this black blade from his shadow.   He then stood up and through the knife at one of the men.  Hitting him in the arm forcing him to clumsily drop the gun.  Jake then slid forward and picked up the gun and held it up to the men they weren't two scared since there were more shot guns on him then shot guns on them.  Jake looked around and saw the teller desk and a fuse box against the wall.   There was a shadow from the lamp on the desk casting darkness under the desk.  Jake looked back and slowly stepped into the light as he fell backwards into his own shadow as he appeared pushing up the table.   Jake then shot the fuse box with the shot gun and the lights shut off around them.  They were in pitch darkness.  Jake had this in the bag now.Jake then started making short jumps making it even more impossible for the Men to shoot him.  Then Jake appeared in front of them and started firing dark orbs from his palms which pushed the crooks against the wall restraining them to the darkness.  Then he heard glass shatter as the police jumped through behind the S.W.A.T. team who had their guns on Jake.   Jake held up his hands realizing they though he was the crook.  Jake jumped up so he could dive into the shadows but was shot down in an instant.   He fell through the shadow when his body hit the ground which screwed up his escape.He appeared in an alley behind a dumpster in a city that was not his own.  He didn't know where he was so he was unable to get back.  Jake slowly stood up realizing his side was gushing blood.   He reached into the shadow and pulled the shadow from the dumpster and wrapped it around his wound holding it in tight keeping the blood in. 

Sikota stood atop the building. Eyes closed. Waiting. The gunshots from afar reached his ears. He heard shadows in a way he hadn't before. His eyes opened. Revealing the piercing yellow irises. "It's time to redeem myself." He jumped off the building, his brown wings spread wide, he glided, unseen unheard, to the sound of the shadow muffling the sound of spilling blood. In minutes he landed before Jake. "They're after you." He said. "Tell me why I shouldn't help them."

After a while, Yui narrowed her eyebrows. I think i'm lost, she thought and sighed. Se looked around and caught a reeking smell. What the hell is that, she thought and held her hand over her nose, i think it's coming from somewhere up ahead. Yui slowly made her way near an ally. "Is that....blood" she muttered to herself and looked around. She peeked from behind the building to see someone behind a dumpster and figure with wings, she couldnt tell if it was a mutant or not. Yui saw a pool of blood on the ground and her eyes widened. 

(This whole ordeal happened in another city, I fell into the shadows messing up my jump bringing me to this city that all the super powered people share.  I'm new here lol)Jake was holding his side grunting as in the blink of an eye this guy was standing in front of him.  Slightly threatening him.   "I have no idea who is after me.  I have no idea where I am.  I was saving a bank from some robbers and the police thought I was one of the robbers so they shot me down." Jake said clenching his fist not liking how everyone was assuming he was this bad guy.   Jake then walked into the shadow of the alley appearing on the other side of the guy.  He then limped towards the end of the alley to see where he was.  "What is this place?" He asked the guy

"Hmph... Perhaps I can trust you. You're a LONG way gone from where you were before." He heard another life form behind you. "Who's there!?"

Jake's attention was brought to the noise and all of a sudden he disappeared into his shadow and started searching for the noise finding a girl behind the building staring.  She didn't look dangerous, not near as bad as this winged guy but he was still going to be cautious as he tapped on her should from behind.  "Will you tell me where I am?" He asked since the winged guy didn't answer him completely 

(Yeah, I think I'll just disappear without a sound)

(I didn't mean for it to happen like that lol.  I figured you'd just follow my disappearance but what happens is up to you)

Yui gasps out of shock and abruptly turn around. Was i really that noticeable, she thought and saw a guy standing before her, maybe the same one that was behind the dumpster. The figure with the wings probably noticed her as well. "We're in The City." She said calmly. "But I'm new here so I don't exactly know where everything is around here." The area still reeked of blood and she had a feeling it was coming from him. "  Um, are you okay?" she asked

Sikota appeared behind Jake. "These should help your wounds." He took to the skies, dropping a small handful of feathers as he left.

"Well before I ended up here I was being shot at and got clipped.  I'm sorry for the smell" He said as he picked up the feathers as the shadow around him absorbed it and his wound started to glow.   "Thanks he said though the man was gone"

 

"But its nice to meet someone who is new here too.  I'm Jake" He said with a grin

The man with wings just disappeared within seconds and she looked up to the sky. Weird, she thought and looked back at the guy who goes by the name Jake. His wounds were glowing and the smell went away. "It's nice to meet you." She said. "I'm Yui and I'm trying to find where I'm staying for the time being but I guess i got a bit lost..." she said with a wryly smile. 

"Well how bout we stick together and hope for the best" he grinned.   Jake then looked back to her realizing not everyone had powers but he could tell she did.  "Would you mind if I asked what your power is?  I myself have abilities over darkness and shadows." He said as he pulled the shadow from his wound and shaped it into a ball and slipped it into his shadows hand.

Wow, she thought, nobody has ever asked me about my powers or even had the slightest idea that i had any; there might be something special about this city after all. Yui stuck out her hand and a huge ball of fire came to her palm, which brightened the area. "I control fire." She said as the flames slowly engulfed her hand. She loved making the illusion that her flesh was burning from the flames when she's not even being harmed by it. 

Jake then started stepping back  behind objects to pick up there shadow so he wouldn't be to weak.  "That's really cool he said grabbing one of the shadows around him and throwing it on the fire.  "But sadly light and I have a off and on relationship" He smirked pulling the shadow off of her now that the fire suffocated.  "I'm sorry but  light can hurt a bit." 

When her flames disappeared, Yui blinked in astonishment. "Sorry about that. " she said. " but I'll keep that in mind." It was getting late and Yui really wanted to find her apartment since the duffel bag was starting to give her back an ache. "I should really get going." Yui said to Jake. "But if you have nowhere else to go, i guess you can come along with me." 

"It'd be great if I could" Jake said with excitement.  "I won't be a burden!" Jake said curious to why he was trusting Yui so much.  But he was just desperate.  He didn't know how he was going to get back to his home so he decided to take the risk with this stranger he just met.  He then sat there waiting for her to lead the way to her apartment.

"Okay then." she said and started making her way to her apartment. After a few minutes, they reached the building she was staying at. Why didn't i find this earlier, she thought and looked at the paper again to make sure that it was the right place. The two went up to the second floor and made their way to Yui room. She reached into her pocket to get the keys and opened the door. "Welcome to my new home." She said to Jake while flipping on the light switch and dropping her bag on the floor

He walked in curiously  "New home?" He said with a laugh?  "Did you steal it?" He asked curiously as he walked in from the hallway and  looked around observing his new surroundings.  Still curious why he should trust her but he really didn't have much of a choice in the whole trust department.  She had powers like him and that was a good reason fo rnow

"Of course not. That would be too much of a hassle." She said to Jake and collapsed on the sofa. Seeing that it was a long day, Yui didn't bother to start unpacking her stuff. Why am I even trusting this guy, i just met him,she thought, oh well, one bad move and he'll be burnt to a crisp.
