Posted March 27, 201312 yr Does anyone know if Nintendo sells 3DS SD Cards separately from the system like Sony does with the Vita? I ask because whenever I go to my local Game Stop I never see any. Thanks for any help you can offer.
March 27, 201312 yr They aren't Nintendo branded SD cards. Mine is a Toshiba SD card. Just go and buy an SD card.
March 27, 201312 yr Your gonna have to buy a different SD card, I myself have a 4GB scandisk. Most should be compatible though, so yeah lol
March 27, 201312 yr Basically what the others said. Any kind will usually tend to do. I have some huge 32 GB one and it has over 200,000 blocks left even with all of the games I have downloaded, so try and shoot for a big one like that.
March 27, 201312 yr It's just a simple SD card, not by Nintendo or made for the 3DS. My digital camera uses the very same kind of memory card as my 3DS. Generally you can buy these SD cards from places like Wal-Mart, but Gamestop might have them as well. Edited March 27, 201312 yr by Mystics Apprentice
March 27, 201312 yr It's basically any SD card you can use for a camera. You can find them at Walmart, best buy, and just about any other store that has a section for cameras.
March 27, 201312 yr Just buy any decent SD card you can find. My Dad recently bought me an 8GB SD card from Amazon for my 3DS (seeing as I'll be downloading AC:NL digitally, and the extra space for photos and apps is always nice). Don't worry lol, pretty sure I thought the same thing at first. Didn't have a clue how to go about getting another one. Edited March 27, 201312 yr by Xalaru
