I don't know about you, but when I was a kid, I was taught that the rainbow had six colors: Red, orange, yellow, green, blue and purple. Then when I went to school or where ever it was the purple became indigo and violet. I was like "where did this indigo violet thing come from?" When you think about it, it's really stupid. I mean violet is just a shade of purple, and indigo is mix of blue and purple. So if indigo is in the rainbow, why isn't cyan in the rainbow, or yellow-orange?
