Ok, when I first saw the Japanese cutscenes with English subs, during the duel with Xion and Riku, Xion says she is not a fake, the Keyblade is not a fake, etc.

But why change it to sham rather than fake in the English version. When I first saw this, I was like, WTC?

Kids that play theses games are just going to be ... after seeing that.

Seriously, they couldn't just simply say fake rather than sham? Being descriptive is awesome. But not in a kids or in a Disney game. Also, not in a children's card game, if you get what this means xD

Discuss.

Disney probebly wanted it to say sham instead of fake who knows

Yes because fake is obiviously offensive.

Silly Disney, fake is for kids. Gotta love that line xD

My guess is that, when Square Enix are making a game English. They must find the right words, so that the words fits to the characters mouth movement. The mouth movement is still Japanese, while the words are English

I'm preety sure that they edit the mouths so that it fits the English words...

But I don't know if they did it for Days though....

They shouldn't have changed it from fake to sham. It sounds weird when Xion says it.

It's just that Riku though Xion's keyblade could hold 20 times its weight in liquid.

Xion thought otherwise

^ Epic win right there.

I really never thought much about it, but I don't think they even care to lip-synch the English. In the opening when Xemnas says, "That is right; the new you" doesn't match his mouth at all. Pretty much none of it does.

what does it matter? sham or fake, i don't care, they mean the same thing.

I don't like Xion says sham, too. Fake is much better. Thinking about it again, days' Japanese's dialogues are always much better (-_- referring mostly to let's eat ice cream together again)
