For more information on this role-play, please visit the sign-ups and discussion thread: http://kh13.com/forum/topic/51791-inside-the-organization-rp-sign-ups/

NOTE: I'll be posting here when Organization members become available. Currently, Xaldin is available. If you would like this character, please post in the sign-ups or PM me.

Due to current scenarios taking place, the following characters are temporarily available: Sora, Riku, Riku Replica, Namine, Pence, Hayner, DiZ.  Please note that these characters may not be present for long, though it'd be great if we could find players to take these roles for now.  If interested, please post in the signups, here, or PM me!

This is the official role-play for Inside the Organization. Here is where the fourteen members of Organization's fate will be decided by its players. Organization members will go on missions designated by Xemnas and Saix, as well as take part in other personal endeavors of their own. The time this RP takes place in is at the beginning of 358/2 Days. However, there is no need to follow the 358/2 Days storyline. In fact, it'd probably be all the more interesting if we change it up a little. For example, Roxas and Axel could be enemies, or Vexen and Marluxia could be working together to overthrow the Organization together. It's all up to you.

I would highly recommend following this topic, so that way you'll get a notice when activity occurs and won't have to check back here as frequently for updates. (Not to mention it'll probably help you keep on top of things.)

Our current players are:

  • [*]No. I: Xemnas -- FictionalCharacterWish [*]No. II: Xigbar -- RikunobodyXIII [*]No. III: Xaldin -- temporarily filled by FictionalCharacterWish [*]No. IV: Vexen -- Mystics Apprentice [*]No. V: Lexeaus -- Dave [*]No. VI: Zexion -- Mystics Apprentice [*]No. VII Saix -- Lunar Berserker [*]No. VIII: Axel -- Pretium [*]No. IX: Demyx -- X-Blade_Wielder [*]No. X: Luxord -- Sikota Urinakano [*]No. XI: Marluxia -- Dave [*]No. XII: Larxene -- Yuffie Kisaragi [*]No. XIII: Roxas -- Silver Kuroi [*]No. XIV: Xion -- Sora's Baby

Temporary characters: (these are characters that exist to fit the current scenario; they aren't permanent and could disappear with the course of the RP.)

  • Sora -- Lunar Berserker
  • Riku -- (currently available; will be taken by Sikota Urinakano after Castle Oblivion)
  • Riku Replica -- Yuffie Kisaragi
  • Naminé -- Lunar Berserker
  • Hayner -- X-Blade_Wielder
  • DiZ -- Obi-Wan

An important note regarding dropping characters! If, for any reason, you'd like to drop out of this role-play at any time, please contact me. I won't mind a bit, but I'd like to make your character available to others who'd be interested in picking up your role. In addition, if you've been absent from the role-play for one week, your character will be considered abandoned and will be made available for other players. If there's a particular reason why you'll be absent for a week but would still like your character, please contact me; I'd be happy to hold onto your character. This is so that the role-play can remain as lively as possible, and that way everyone gets a fair chance at playing characters they want.

Now, then, here's the opening situation for Organization XIII:
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Demyx, Luxord, Saix, and Xigbar are in the Gray Room. Saix has recently received an important letter from Xemnas, which he has yet to open. Demyx and Luxord are sitting on the couches, doing something to entertain themselves. Xigbar has just returned from a mission in Agrabah.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Roxas and Xion have just completed a mission in Beasts Castle, to which they must RTC... But they can stop for ice cream, if they so choose.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Marluxia, Axel, and Larxene are in Castle Oblivion. They can return at any time, or they can stay and complete whatever it is they're doing. (Ultimately your choice.)
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Vexen has just entered the room Where Nothing Gathers to speak with Xemnas, giving him a report on how his experimentations with the replicas are going. Zexion is also leaving the room Where Nothing Gathers, as Xemnas has sent him to Castle Oblivion to oversee the events there.

If you'd like an update on what's currently going on, just PM me and I'd gladly fill you in.  Also, if you've been sent on a mission and are unsure of how it should progress, feel free to ask me for some suggestions!

Remember: the more you post, the more active and lively the role-play is, so please try to as frequently as you can. :)

And now, let this role-play commence! Hope everyone has a good time! Should you have any questions, feel free to shoot me a PM or ask in the sign-ups.

Hey everyone, I just wanted to drop a line and gauge interest on this RP.  This is the first one I've hosted, and I'm afraid I didn't do a very good job at it.  I hadn't realized that I would need a m

A shame, it was really good, Mystic. If ya' need though, I'll go ahead and lock the thread...though I don't really think it's necessary, but it'll end the thread for good.

Xion follow Saix."I'll do whatever I'm told." She replied a bit dully.

"It not like I have much choice in the matter. If I hadn't zoned out I could have said 'goodbye' to Roxas. Well maybe next time." She thought as she walked behind Saix, somehow not bumping into him.

Larxene looked up to see Namine was trying to hide herself from someone. She followed the young girl's line of sight, seeing she was looking at Marluxia. Larxene nodded. At least she wasn't afraid of some loser like Demyx or those weird keybladers, Roxas and Xion. But still she comforted the young girl. "Hey, kid. Don't be so scared. No one here'll hurt you. I need to go report to Saix now or something like that. Someone will probably take you back to Castle Oblivion in a bit. Play cards with Luxord or something in the meantime." Larxene told Namine, trying to comfort the girl, and tell her what was going to happen for the next little bit. Then the Savage Nymph stood, stretched, and started to look for Saix.

Not even Marluxia's best acts could stand up to the sheer, unadulterated loathing he had for Vexen, and as the gaunt scientist ambled up to him, the grin wilted from the assassin's face. The accusation regarding the machine was vague: he assumed Vexen was yet unaware of the further fire damage inflicted, or else this confrontation would have been considerably more... (Marluxia winced as the pun came into his head) ...heated. Scowling, Marluxia replied in a tone as cold as Vexen's blizzard spells. "Trust me, Vexen, if I had a mind to break any of your precious experiments, I would have made sure you were watching." Then, mustering a slight smile, "Besides, you would have to build something that actually worked before I could..."

His voice trailed off, as did any thoughts he had of continuing his verbal banter with Vexen, or indeed any other thoughts at all. For shrugged up against the wall, doing her best attempt at not being seen, was Namine.

Marluxia's eyes widened as he looked from the girl to Larxene, who had greeted him with a slight nod. Marluxia did not return the gesture. His hands were caught in a strange sort of limbo, half curled into a fist, half shaking from surprise. He also realized that Vexen, Saix, and Lexeaus, among the three people he hated and feared the most, were sitting in the room with his hither-to private secret weapon. The smallest bead of sweat forming on his brow indicated that the thought of one of them forcing Namine to talk, garnering information about his attempts to have Sora for his own uses, had just crossed his mind.

And it was only with his long-honed ability at concealing unbridled fury while appearing completely composed that Marluxia, very slowly, walked over to the two recently arrived girls.

"Namine," he said, not entirely successful in hiding his frustration. "This is hardly what I'd consider 'staying out of trouble.'"

Naminé flinched away from Marluxia, staring pointedly down at her pale blue sandals. "L--Larxene brought me here. You see there was this fight, and we had to leave, and..." Naminé broke off, knowing that her speech would do her no good whatsoever. "I--I'm sorry Marluxia," she finished, her eyes never leaving her feet. She shifted ever so slightly so that she was, once again, standing somewhat behind Larxene, which when she really thought about it, was slightly funny. She was hiding from the person she was most scared of in the world, behind the person she found second most scary. Though at times, Naminé didn't think Larxene was so bad.

............

Saix hesitated outside of the portal. "Go on through, I will join you momentarily. It looks like I have something to attend first," Saix told Xion. Not waiting for Xion's reply he walked over to Larxene, Marluxia and Naminé, his usual scowl upon his face. He eyed the petrified expression on Naminé's face before turning to look at Organization XIII's numbers XI and XII. "Is there a problem?"

"Wise choice, Riku. I believe you should find Namine first, she'll take care of, multiple, problems for you."

This was going surprising well, but still, he had to keep it right.

"Be careful though. your heart grows worse as you scale through, I won't hesitate to remove you with Ansem."

A small, almost, unseeable smirk remained on his face. Everyone was doing just as he needed.

"Though, you already know that, don't you? Be careful, you may find your friend, but he may not be what you expected or wanted."

Black curled around his body, he vanished into the smurkness of his own Dark Corridor. It was better to leave before Riku could question his last remakrs.

Now, it was time to go to Radiant Garden. Something was messing with his work, he just hoped it wasn't who he thought it was.

Xigbar nodded.

"Yep, that's our flower child." he replied. "Sprouting petals with every movement."

The Freeshooter gave an approximation of an apologetic smile.

"Most of the members of the Organization are misfits with some weird ways about 'em. But it's better to have where we can watch 'em. They can even be a help, once in a blue moon."

Xigbar began to pace, circling Sora. He resisted the urge to put his hands behind his back, though it did always seem to work for the old man.

"You see, our little Organization is around for two reasons. One, understand how the heart works. And two, get ours back."

(Sora's Baby: I sent you a PM with a recap. Let me know if you have any questions on it. :))Axel entered Castle Oblivion, stepping out of a dark portal to find...Nothing and no one. No one was in the Castle at all. However, the room Axel entered was different than all the others he'd frequented. It was empty, with a long, dark spiral staircase leading up. In front of him, however, rested a suit of armor in shades of steel-blues and silver. Unique in nature, it appeared to have once belonged to a slender woman. The only other object occupying the room was a sheet of paper: a single sheet, lying facedown on the ground. If Axel flipped it over, he would've found a picture of Sora, Riku, and...Namine.----------------------------------------------------------

(Thank You!!)

Sora listened to Xigbar thoughtfully, even though he didn't feel like he was in direct danger at the moment, he did still keep ahold of his Keyblade, though he did lower it ever so slightly. When Xigbar mentioned that the members of the Organization didn't have hearts, Sora frowned slightly. "You mean, you guys don't have hearts? Are you like Heartless?" Sora asked curiously. He watched the Organization member for a moment, trying to fathom not having his heart. That would be awful, true he would never feel sad or angry, but it would be awful to never feel happy. If what this member of the Organization said was true, then Sora felt somewhat sorry for them. Even if they were keeping Naminé locked up, and had tried to hurt him several times.

The haughty Graceful Assassin left Vexen in a fit of rage.  No one seemed to appreciate nor understand science in that organization; sometimes Vexen thought he didn't belong there at all.  He watched with an irritable expression as he turned to Namine, the girl he himself longed to get his hands on.  Now that Marluxia was here, however, obtaining her seemed a task only a fragment shy of impossible.  Vexen followed close behind Marluxia, opening his mouth to spurt off retorts.  "You disrespectful little wretch!  How dare you speak to me this way?  I am number four and you are only number eleven!"--the scientist threw his hands up in the air, defeated and flustered--"And for your information, my experiments have proven successful.  I daresay, far more successful than your own endeavors, eh?"

With that, Vexen raised a brow and widened one eye, an expression that would frequently send chills down a person's spine.  "Speaking of which, how are things going in Castle Oblivion, Marluxia?  I saw your little Keyblade wielder and his friend, and, I must say, it doesn't look like you're doing your job very well."  His cold gaze strayed to the young blond, who hid behind Larxene, wide-eyed like some terrified animal in a cage.  "As for you, young lady, there was no reason to be alarmed.  I was simply going to save you from that monstrosity that you encountered.  After all, that boy was nothing but trouble."

--------------------------------------------------------

A loud noise disrupted Zexion's thoughts from outside the room.  Thinking fast, Zexion quickly gathered the various sheets of paper and stuffed them into his coat, fleeing the office swiftly.  He traveled down the familiar passages, ones that he remembered all too well strolling down hand-in-hand with Ansem.  These thoughts pained him, however, so he attempted to disregard them almost as quickly as they surfaced.

Outside the castle, Zexion was surprised to see an enormous fire.  The hedges were alit with roaring flames, the flowers wilted and burnt to a crisp.  Billows of smoke clouded the clear-blue sky, and birds sailed away in a V formation far beyond the castle.  What is going on?!  Zexion thought, bewildered.  He started to make his way down a flight of stairs when a rather large Heartless appeared, blades soaring in every direction.  The Cloaked Schemer's eyes widened in surprise.  A Trinity Armor?  Here?  The monster was massive; Zexion was no where near prepared to face a creature this powerful.  Swallowing down his fear and regaining his cool exterior, the steel-haired teen pulled out his Lexicon and opened it.  If this Heartless wanted a fight, then a fight it would get.

Nearby, a dark portal opened, catching Zexion's attention.  Out stepped Xion, looking slightly puzzled.  The Trinity Armor Heartless let out a sound, striking in Xion's direction!

----------------------------------------------------

"Wait!"  Riku darted over to DiZ, but it was too late; he was gone in a swirl of darkness.  The silver-haired teen sighed, unfurling his fist before him.  "But, I already met Namine--and she's gone.  I don't know how to find her again."  Finally Riku decided there was only one thing to do: find Larxene or Vexen again.  With that, he marched on through the castle, ascending the many staircases ahead.

(I apologize -it seems a lot of us have been getting a bit behind-, but what should I do? ;~; I'm unsure of what to make Roxas do right now..)

"A Heartless is a heart moving around on it's own." Xigbar said, scratching his head. "Us at the Organization are Nobodies. The bodies and spirits of people who got their hearts taken. We are trying to get our hearts back. Our boss even has ideas about keeping the worlds in balance, but we don't have the right people for that."

Xigbar thought a moment. Had the whole balance thing been a part of the old goat's plan, or was that one of his smoke screens. It was hard to keep up with.

"Ho, ho. A new room?? Guess this place still has a few nooks and crannies that even I haven't explored" He thought walking to the armor

"Nice armor.. not really my type though. Looks feminine.. " He said examining the curves (Not in dirty way!!) "Hmmm" He pondered to himself, touching the steely surface. "The Organization doesn't wear armor.. we have our coats.. who's could this be anyway?? It's too big for Xion.. And there's no way blondie would wear something like this. It's not the ninja's style (Isn't She Ninja-esque??)." His gaze drifted over the table and landed on the paper that almost blended with the surface of the table.

"Hello.. what do we have here??" He flipped the paper over, lifting it to his face. His eyes widened as he examined it. "That's.." He looked at the picture a few more moments and then put it down and started walking to the stairwell. "So, you're really trying to sell this story, aren't you??.... Namine

Edited by Pretium

(Yes, I am ninja-esque)

Larxene looked down to Namine, who was hiding behind her. "Marluxia, she is correct. I took her here 'cause Riku found her, there was about to be a fight. Didn't want someone so vital to us, to be harmed by that guy." Larxene told the Graceful Assassin off. "But if you so want, you can take her back now. I should probably talk to Saix before I go back now that I'm here." The Savage Nymph continued, drifting towards the Berserker. She faced Number VI.

What beauty Hollow Bastion, Radiant Garden, had was being burned. The rare growths of life being burned to there dreaded fate.

He'd deal with the one who had bothered his research later. The creature would not stand for doing this.

"Whatever Heartless did this, it won't be here to much longer."

Clenching his fists in anger while he worked out how to get somewhere else.

DiZ didn't notice the other presence of a familiar, heartbreaking, Nobody higher up.

Or the papers he carried with him.

The rage blocked out all thoughts but the one to protect the castle, his broken kingdom, from the threat.

All to familiar was this scene. None of the apprentices ever knew, knew that he could fight well.

Or anything else on any of those topics.

"Blizzaga!"

For now he'd simply fight without taking what he knew was wrong.

(Sorry, Silver!  Originally a mission was set up for Roxas and Xigbar in Castle of Dreams, but since Sora's got him caught up at the moment how about you take Roxas to Castle Oblivion?  Perhaps he could meet Riku, or even Sora or Axel.  That, or he could come to Radiant Garden and mix up with the excitement there.)

As Riku wandered the white halls, wondering if anyone else lingered there at all besides himself, he saw a man emerge from a nearby doorway.  He had flaming red hair, startling green eyes, and what caught Riku by the most surprise was the black coat; the same coat all of the other Organization members wear.  For a moment their gazes met.  While Riku couldn't find Vexen or Larxene, perhaps this man would help him almost as much.  It was worth a try, at any rate.  "Hey," he began, cautiously walking towards Axel.  "You wouldn't happen to know of a girl named Namine, would you?"

----------------------------------------------------------

A metal blade was charging at Xion at an alarming rate, the Heartless relentlessly bearing down on her.  Only moments before it came to her, however, a wall of ice shielded her.  It seemed Zexion came from no where behind her, his lexicon in hand.  The Cloaked Schemer turned to the puppet and nodded.  "I am uncertain why you're here, but perhaps you can make use of your Keyblade, hm?  We are, after all, collecting hearts."  Of course, in order for Xion to release its heart, it would need to be weakened.  Considerably.  Zexion darted across the field, lexicon extended, as he unleashed dark shadows.  They danced around the Heartless in a ring.  Slowly they took form, transforming into what looked like...miniature extensions of the Heartless.  Zexion pointed at their enemy, and away the Heartless flew.  The damage they inflicted upon their enemy was trivial, however, and tore Zexion's illusions apart in a mere matter of moments.

"So, you said that you were trying to help me, right?" Sora asked, still confused by this, and still not really believing it, though he honestly wasn't quite sure what any of the Organization members wanted with him at the moment. "Why? What do you want with me? Who are you?" Sora hesitated before asking the last questions that came to mind. "Do you know where Naminé is? Or Riku?"

Xigbar bonked his own forehead with his palm.

"All this talking and I forgot to introduce myself." he said.

he gave Sora a cocky grin.

"Name's Xigbar. Número dos of the Organization. I'm here to protect you from some of our more unsavory members because we need your help."

Xigbar pointed to Sora's Keyblade.

"That kind of help."

He rubbed his nose absently as he continued to speak.

"Not sure where your friends are. Namine will be alright, though. She's special. The boss will make sure she is safe. And Riku..."

He stopped rubbing his nose and shrugged.

"Ain't got a clue what's up with him, really."

Cautious. Ever so was this important.

DiZ kept to the side, almost blending into the red of fire, while blue ice shot into the Heartless.

Needless to say, the attacks by themselves would do little. At least at different moments.

His heart struggled within at the thought of Zexion, Ienzo, to the point he nearly shouted at the boy to try harder.

"Blizzaga!"

The fires didn't stop, neither did his frustration.

Should he even consider telling Zexion, his beloved Ienzo, who he was?

Was it worth the result?

Zexion, Ienzo, would not get a easy death if he knew. Knew who he was.

Glancing from his spot, smoke shrouding his form, there was no choice in th matter.

"I'll make this worth it."

Focusing his magic, he only hoped this would not be his death.

A powerful, quick Triple Blizzaga focused the Heartless attention on him.

He needed to get his priorities straight.

"What do you want with my Keyblade?" Sora asked, though he could think of several possible things that the Organization could want with it. And they all weren't good. While Xigbar was answering questions, Sora decided to ask a few more, so far he hadn't had many straight answers. Only a few confusing ones from Marluxia, that made little to no sense to the young Keyblade wielders. "Is the Organization after Kingdom Hearts?" he asked.

Marluxia never got flustered. Lexeaus knew that much. So when the Graceful Assassin balked noticeably at the sight of Namine, the Silent Hero knew that something extreme must have happened to get under his skin.

For his part, Marluxia turned swiftly at Vexen, the impulse being to backhand the scientist. Thankfully, his cooler senses prevailed, and he merely settled for a furious glare. "My mission with Sora is going according to plan. And it would be going smoother if not for..." He turned to look at Larxene, his eyes narrowing in spite. "...meddling." It occurred to Marluxia that for all his planning, he hadn't expected Larxene, his accomplice in crime, to be a loose cannon. He was going to have to be more careful in the future...

It was just as well that she didn't know about Plan B.

"Now, if you're all quite content with your unwanted interference," he said, walking over to the frightened young girl, "Namine and I still have a lot of work to do."

He reached to grab her arm, but he was stopped when an even stronger hand grabbed his own arm.

Marluxia looked up into the eyes of Lexeaus, who stood in between him and Namine. Marluxia tried to wrench his arm free, but could make no headway against the grip of Number V. It was only until the assassin stopped struggling that Lexeaus let him go, staring down at the master of flowers. "I don't think that will be wise at this moment."

Marluxia's shoulder's tensed. "Namine cannot continue her job unless she is in Castle Oblivion."

"And she can't continue her job if Castle Oblivion isn't stabilized," returned Lexeaus. "Vexen is correct. Things have gotten out of control there. Riku has become a problem, and someone has been messing with the equipment there. I suggest you calm the waters before returning Namine."

The assassin opened his mouth to protest, realized that there wasn't a single sympathetic ear to hear him, and his mouth shut. His hands clenched into fists at his side, and through gritted teeth he admitted, "Very well." Doing his best to control his emotions, Marluxia couldn't help but shoot a scowl at Larxene before opening a portal of darkness back to the Castle. What had she been thinking... If Saix got anything out of Namine...

Marluxia would have to move more speedily.

Watching the pink haired nobody disappear, Lexeaus thought it wise to wait for at least a minute before following. He had put Marluxia under pressure: it was now a matter of waiting to see what he would do.

"How else can we make sure somebody won't try to get it and mess with it?" Xigbar answered Sora, his tone suggesting that only an idiot wouldn't have seen that. "Plus, it's a good way to find our hearts."

Xigbar gave Sora a one eyed glare for a moment.

"Oh, yeah." he said, remembering something. "You were fighting somebody trying to take control of Kongdom Hearts, right?"

(What world is Xion going to?)

Roxas looked around the near-empty Grey Room. Everyone was gone, save for him. If anyone was there, Roxas surely didn't pay much attention to them-- being bored does after all take a large toll on your mind.

"I thought there was a mission.." He said aloud, seeing that no one seemed to remember such a thing. "What in the worlds do I do now?!" He cried aloud, looking about the room as if the answer would simply burst into being.

Sadly, nothing of the sort happened. Roxas was left looking like an idiot while shouting to himself. Didn't help that some members of the Organization already thought of him as a doofus. "Fine. You know what? I'll go to Hollow Bastion! Grgh.." He grumbled, opening his own Corridor.

(Sikota and X-Blade: feel free to stumble upon the giant Heartless if you'd like.  Zexion, DiZ, and Xion are a little shorthanded.)

(What world is Xion going to?)

Saix sent Xion ahead of him through the dark portal, which landed her in Radiant Garden.  A giant Heartless tried attacking her the moment she got there, which Zexion shielded her from.  Currently, she's surrounded by Zexion and DiZ.  Below are my two posts that are relevant to Xion's arrival:

A loud noise disrupted Zexion's thoughts from outside the room.  Thinking fast, Zexion quickly gathered the various sheets of paper and stuffed them into his coat, fleeing the office swiftly.  He traveled down the familiar passages, ones that he remembered all too well strolling down hand-in-hand with Ansem.  These thoughts pained him, however, so he attempted to disregard them almost as quickly as they surfaced.

Saix changed his mind and decided to question Larxene later, from the sound of it looked like Naminé needed to be there for the time being anyway. He walked back over to the portal he had opened for Xion to go through and stepped into it. He stepped out into Radiant Garden, and froze briefly, taking in the scene before him. He hadn't thought he was going to send Xion straight into the clutches of a giant heartless. Saix scowled, spotting Zexion. He wondered what The Cloaked Schemer was doing there? Oh well, just one more thing to question about at a later time.

Saix pulled out his Claymore and charged towards the Trinity Armor, he swung the claymore, hitting the Heartless hard in the side. He glanced at Xion. "Come Xion! We could use your Keyblade."

............

Naminé let out a breath she hadn't realized she's been holding, relieved that Marluxia had left. She scanned the room, and watched the Nobody who looked like Sora leave through a portal. Naminé slowly made her way over to one of the couches, she sat down on top of it. She wanted to go exploring this new castle, but after the events of the day she knew better then to put one toe out of line any time soon. She didn't want to anger Marluxia further. Somehow, through everything, Naminé still had ahold of her notebook. She opened it and began to sketch yet another picture. This one, was one of all of the Organization members, at least, all of the ones she had seen.

............

Sora nodded uneasily. Ansem the Seeker of Darkness, had been after the power of Kingdom Hearts. "Okay let me get this straight. Are you saying that we're not enemies?" For some reason, Sora found that idea hard to believe.
