Due to current scenarios taking place, the following characters are temporarily available: Sora, Riku, Riku Replica, Namine, Pence, Hayner, DiZ.  Please note that these characters may not be present for long, though it'd be great if we could find players to take these roles for now.  If interested, please post in the signups, here, or PM me!  

This is the official role-play for Inside the Organization. Here is where the fourteen members of Organization's fate will be decided by its players. Organization members will go on missions designated by Xemnas and Saix, as well as take part in other personal endeavors of their own. The time this RP takes place in is at the beginning of 358/2 Days. However, there is no need to follow the 358/2 Days storyline. In fact, it'd probably be all the more interesting if we change it up a little. For example, Roxas and Axel could be enemies, or Vexen and Marluxia could be working together to overthrow the Organization together. It's all up to you.

I would highly recommend following this topic, so that way you'll get a notice when activity occurs and won't have to check back here as frequently for updates. (Not to mention it'll probably help you keep on top of things.)

An important note regarding dropping characters! If, for any reason, you'd like to drop out of this role-play at any time, please contact me. I won't mind a bit, but I'd like to make your character available to others who'd be interested in picking up your role. In addition, if you've been absent from the role-play for one week, your character will be considered abandoned and will be made available for other players. If there's a particular reason why you'll be absent for a week but would still like your character, please contact me; I'd be happy to hold onto your character. This is so that the role-play can remain as lively as possible, and that way everyone gets a fair chance at playing characters they want.

Now, then, here's the opening situation for Organization XIII:

Demyx, Luxord, Saix, and Xigbar are in the Gray Room. Saix has recently received an important letter from Xemnas, which he has yet to open. Demyx and Luxord are sitting on the couches, doing something to entertain themselves. Xigbar has just returned from a mission in Agrabah.

Roxas and Xion have just completed a mission in Beasts Castle, to which they must RTC... But they can stop for ice cream, if they so choose.

Marluxia, Axel, and Larxene are in Castle Oblivion. They can return at any time, or they can stay and complete whatever it is they're doing. (Ultimately your choice.)

Vexen has just entered the room Where Nothing Gathers to speak with Xemnas, giving him a report on how his experimentations with the replicas are going. Zexion is also leaving the room Where Nothing Gathers, as Xemnas has sent him to Castle Oblivion to oversee the events there.

 

If you'd like an update on what's currently going on, just PM me and I'd gladly fill you in.  Also, if you've been sent on a mission and are unsure of how it should progress, feel free to ask me for some suggestions!

 

Remember: the more you post, the more active and lively the role-play is, so please try to as frequently as you can.

"Well, if you say so." Roxas replied, "Twilight Town it is, then?" Roxas asked, putting on his own smile. Sure, it didn't 'feel' like a smile....but in a way to Roxas, he felt the faintest glimmer of what smiling and friendship was like.

Roxas gave one last passing look at the Castle, noting how different it was compared to the Castle that Never Was. Where the blank white fortress radiated a dark presence...this place just felt old and sad.

Xemnas stayed silent for a moment before speaking. "As unfortunate as your dilemma may seem, we cannot risk further delays by hunting down someone who may not be on radar any longer. Proceed with our current plan and you may find ways to... perfect our current replica. If that is unsatisfactory, then you may create another with what you know." He strode a few steps away and paused to look back at Vexen "Just remember though that we only need one Keyblade to succeed in gaining our hearts." With that, he vanished, leaving a distraught scientist in his wake.

Xigbar stuck his head back into Where Nothing Gathers.

"Hey, Saix!" he called, walking further into the room.

He teleported up to his chair and leaned forward.

"What do you think about our number 4's little problem, huh?"

Atlantica's waters were calm when Demyx and Luxord arrived there.  Seaweed and rocks surrounded them, as did fish of multiple colors.  As Demyx asked Luxord what their mission was, however, a huge shark came charging straight towards them.  Its teeth glistened hungrily.

(Note: I just thought I'd help structure out the missions to give you guys something to work with.  If you've got another direction you'd like the mission to take, though, feel free to change it up and add your own ideas. )

Vexen glared at Xemnas's back as he stalked away, cursing under his breath.  His words were incoherent, but if one were eavesdropping they could likely make out the words "ludicrous plans" and "obnoxious brats."  With nothing left to do, Vexen stormed out of the hall and back to his bedroom, where he'd muse over his problem a while longer.  He couldn't understand why Xemnas wasn't more distraught over the matter than he was.  For reasons unfathomable, this distressed him rather greatly.

 

"At least Demyx isn't around to make a ruckus," Vexen thought bitterly to himself.  "Perhaps I can at least catch a bit of a nap while he's away on recon."

Saix frowned. "The situation is definitely not good," Saix told Xigbar. "But I think he is blowing things out of proportion as he always does." He narrowed his eyes. "Eavesdropping again, Xigbar? You know Xemnas does not appreciate that."

 

He crossed his arms and leaned back in his chair, not really upset by the fact that Xigbar had listened to what Vexen had told Xemnas. Especially since Xemnas trusted Xigbar with a lot of things.

Xigbar shrugged.

"I like to be up with current events." he commented. "The big question is who wants to sabatoge Vexen's little replica program?"

He sat back a chuckled.

"I almost suspect Larxene. She hates Vex and he feels about the same about her."

Xigbar waved the thought away, but kept his gaze locked on the younger Nobody.

"You got any theories, Scarface?"

"What did you call me?" Saix glared at Xigbar, then sighed, there was no reason to take it personal. Though the comment would have bothered him more if he had a heart. "Yes I know, it's amazing that the haven't ended each others lives yet. But I think it could very well have been Larxene. At least it was more likely her then Axel or Marluxia. I 'hope' they have enough sense not to go poking through Vexen's experiments... For that matter it could have been any single person within the Organization. I don't think it's beyond Demyx to mess the up the whole experiment by accident."

 

He couldn't help but wonder though if it had been a prank, or someone actually trying to mess up what Xemnas and Vexen had planned...  He was just going to sit back and watch this play out. If it did that is...

Marluxia couldn't help but grin as Zexion appeared within the Castle: even on a mission of little apparent substance could the Organization keep from trying to watch the moves of all of its members. "I can assure you, Zexion," said the graceful assassin, "if there was anything worth knowing, you would surely be the first to know it." There was indeed a few things which Marluxia had on his mind as he wandered Castle Oblivion, but there was no need to divulge any of that information to one of Xemnas's closest lackies. "Our operation to harness the power of the keyblade is going along quite smoothly." Then, smirking, he added, "Surely, you can report much of the same with yours and Vexen's little pet projects?"

Larxene sat, and fiddled with her knives as they sat. Zexion came in and asked how they were. "Bored. All the freaking kid does is swing his big old key around and help people for no apparent reason. Seriously, I just want to go down there and have my way with him. But no, we're using him." Larxene spoke frustrated and angry. She hated being at Castle Oblivion. Larxene generated a little electricity in her hand, and shot at a vase across the room. She sighed, and leaned back, and spun her knife.

"Anybody?" Xigbar asked. "Even Roxas and Xion? Our two Keyblade slingers?"

Xigbar had to admit to himself that those two were unlikely, but he still had a nagging feeling about them. Especially Xion. The Poppet did look like the kid. Still hadn't given him the drowned fish look, though.

"Hm hm hm hm" Axel chuckled a bit as he was leaned up against a wall with his arms crossed "Calm down, Larxene" He said smiling "This place isn't all that bad.."

 

"Zexion" He said as a greeting to him "good to see you, how are things back at HQ??"

(No worries, Pretium; you're doing just fine.  Actually, I'm impressed at how excellently everyone has portrayed their characters thus far.  Great job!)

 

Zexion's lips narrowed into a fine line.  He knew he wasn't wanted there; the look Marluxia gave him only confirmed his suspicions.  The cloaked schemer crossed his arms dismally.  "Actually, it's Vexen's project, not mine.  And, much to his dismay, someone has tampered with his replication device.  It is now dysfunctional"--Zexion sharply brought his gaze to greet Marluxia's, eyes distrusting--"He's searching frantically for the culprit.  Surely you wouldn't happen to have any suggestions, Marluxia?"

 

There was something odd about these three, something Zexion couldn't quite put his finger on.  They frequently had their heads together, for reasons Zexion couldn't quite fathom.  He'd supposed that they were friends, but he didn't think that quite explained it.  There was something else--something he feared he was purposefully being excluded from.  "Oh, and Axel," he added as an afterthought.  "Saix requires your presence back at headquarters.  I suppose he has some mission for you with our Keyblade bearer."

"This halieutic physique may require experience for necessary adaptation." Luxord said, commenting on the fins that had replaced his and Demyx's legs. With a flick of his wrist, several cards came spinning out of nowhere cutting into the shark. It swam away in fear. "A supposedly powerful predator but a weak hand. Come, Demyx, let us investigate the rest of the area, should a luckier deck be found."

 

( I don't even understand what I'm making this guy say sometimes )

"I agree, it is highly unlikely that either of them did it," Saix said. "Don't go poking through things that do not concern you, Xigbar. It might get you in trouble."

 

Saix leaped gracefully from his chair, and landed down below. He looked back up at Xigbar. "Just so you know, you have a mission to attend to as soon as Roxas gets back. You both are to go to Halloween Town and take out a Heartless, of unknown size and origin." With that Saix left the room and made his way back to The Gray Room. He glanced around briefly before taking his usual place by the window, where he could observe the goings on in the room.

Xigbar sat alone in Where Nothing Gathers. All was silent till The Freeshooter let out a chuckle.

"Poke through things that don't concern me? As if!" he said to himself. "I just mind my own business."

His grin got bigger.

"I can't help it that everything is my business."

He teleport to his room and flopped on the bed. Putting his hands behind his head, he settled in to get some rest till Roxas popped up.

Roxas and Xion stepped out of their dark portal into Twilight Town, only to be greeted by a large blue ball hitting Roxas square in the face.  Two guys stood nearby.  The short, dark-haired one looked horrified, while the other blond teen had his back to them.

 

"I--dang, I'm so sorry!  I didn't mean to hit you, there!" cried the dark-haired teen.  "I swear I didn't see you there!"

(Ha Ha!! Oh my gosh, that was hilarious!! Nice job with those metaphors and strang vocabulary)

(Well, actually, I suppose the current Riku on stage would be KH1 Riku, as the timeline reflects Marluxia, Larxene and the others still alive. However, there's others aspects that don't match up to the Re:COM timeline either (not to mention we're rewriting history here), so, sure! it could be black cloak Riku.  Feel free to fit in him wherever.

 

(Hmm, should I take Sora or Naminé... I think I'll take both if that's alright. But if someone wants either Sora or Naminé I'll give up one. )

Sure, feel free to take both.  It just saves me from trying to juggle with eight characters, haha!

 

I think I'll be taking Riku Replica myself, if no one else is interested.

Saix walked down the halls in The Castle that Never Was on his way to Vexen's room. He opened the door without knocking and looked saw the scientist. "Xaldin and Lexeaus have yet to RTC, they were sent on a mission on Wonderland. I would like you to track them down," Saix informed the scientist. "Leave as soon as you are ready."

 

(If I'm not allowed to send Vexen on a wild goose chase after the two not playing let me know. I don't expect him to find them. )

(I know little about Riku's side of CoM so I might need some guidance or for someone to take him until we get into the latter part of Days where he's epic and cloaked)

Demyx looked at Luxord in confusion "You know I don't know what your talking about" after the shark swam away he looked down at his and Luxord's fins

"Ohh thats what you meant, i think" Demyx shrugged and started walking well swimming looking around the area Atlantica with Luxord

"You got it" Axel replied to Zexion as he got off the wall and started walking in his direction

 

He shot him glance while he passed by him

 

[Did Xemnes tell you something, or are you just speculating, Zexion- The Cloaked Schemer..??] Axel thought curiously after he passed him

 

He put his left hand forward and opened a dark corridor

 

Just before he walked through, he turned back to Marluxia and Larxene

 

"Try not to have too much fun without me" He said to them, taunting Larxene

 

Then walked through the corridor..

Naminé sat at a small table in the room that Larxene, Marluxia and Zexion were in. She looked up from her notebook, watching the other three converse. From what she had seen Marluxia was cold and Larxene was simply not nice to her. She wasn't sure about Zexion though, she hadn't seen much of him yet.

 

Slowly Naminé got to her feet, clutching her notebook in her pale hands, and walked over to them. She hesitated, eyeing Larxene in particular. "Is it okay if I look around the castle? I promise I won't get into any trouble. I just...would like to see what it looks like."

Sora pushed opened yet another door in Castle Oblivion. He wondered how many more levels there was, he'd gone through several at least. He pulled out the cards he had that sent you to an illusion of a world. "Hmm, which one next..." his eyes fell on Neverland, "I guess I'll go there next."
