We should have known for a while that the HD Collections were coming be cause its been teased in many games.

In hindsight, i think it meant that we were to redo or re(connect, as in sora connects his heart) all the adventures he had (redo all the games)

 

Not to mention in the end of 3D, if you collect all of the gold letters while diving, it will show you a secret message afterwards. Saying: "The past will be reawakened as a new number in never-before-seen detail. Prepare yourself for the awakening of the next number. "

 

i think it meant the HD collections because the all new #'s are 1.5 and 2.5. as well as the "past will be awakened as a new #" meaning the final mixes and the "never before seen detail" is on the PS3 because the detail part is the remastered graphics. Its been right under our noses!!!!

The 3D message hints at it's most "The past will be reawakened in the form of a new number". 1.5. "Prepare yourself for the awakening of the next number I think is referring to kh3 after the ReMIXs.

yupp! I think of that too! I believed the words "The past will be reawakened as a new number in never-before-seen detail" is reffering the HD remakes while the words "Prepare yourself for the awakening of the next number" is reffering to KH3 ^^

i actually thought of the whole Reconnect Kingdom hearts as replaying the games ever since BBS lol cuz Nomura was all like "i hope that after playing BBS people will go back and play the first game to connect the dots" well he didnt say that but it was paraphrased

Theories are so "stale" these days.

I think the never before seen detail is the Final Mix for everyone who didn't get Final Mix and also for those that didn't get CoM lol

People were saying the stuff about the secret message pointing to an HD collection about 2 days after the game released and someone beat it and put up the message. Someone translated it and voila, "never-before-seen detail" = hd collection

I dont think 3D's was a hint, it pretty much straight out told you.

 

Unless you are a fool the yes, it was a hint.
