DO You Buy Your Games Online or In Store?

Posted

So, since I just got my copy of Fire Emblem: Awakening in the mail today I am in a good enough mood to ask you this question. Do you normally buy games online or do you buy them from a store?

I normally buy at stores

It really depends on which game it is

Mostly in the store, but I pre-ordered KH 1.5 over a month ago, if that counts as online.

WTF?! Both!!

I've been buying games at the store lately actually, last game I got off the Internet was Black Ops

Stores. I have to buy games with my own money now and I don't have gift cards or a credit card haha. I think it's better too, because you go and pick it up the day of release (or as soon as you can) without having to pay extra for "one-day shipping" or anything else.

Normally stores, but Gamestop was out of Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon so I bought a $50 eShop card and downloaded the game when I got home. I guess that counts as both the store and online? But yeah, mostly in stores.

Online since it's usually cheaper (at least over here anyway)

Most of the time I order games online, because mostly I get the games cheaper online.

online, because I have amazon prime and they're all at least 10% off plus free 2 day shipping...

stores mostly. I got ReCoded from a Best Buy gift card online. I love best buy, they had MoM editions set for preordering when Gamestop ran out.

A mix of the two, usually. I've been getting a lot online recently, though.

I get my old butt up from the couch and have a family member drive me to a Gamestop.

When I was younger and didn't use the internet or have a debit card in store.  Now, considering that it's easier to browse, find them at cheaper prices, good used copies and any old game you want I always use the internet.  To buy everything.  Games, make up, consoles, tvs, pens, masking tape.

In store. At least I don't have to worry about the marchandise.

I do both.

Both, but I prefer to buy my games in-store.  The experience is just so much more enjoyable that way. :)

Stores unless they don't carry the game, then online it is!
