Store exclusive pre-orders are pretty lame. Especially if you almost exclusively pre-order from one place, and another place is offering something better. Kinda a cheap way of getting a person to pre-order from that store as well, and you're missing out on some good content.

 

Anybody else dislike them?

Yeah, hate em. I didn't have a PSP at the time, but I heard that Dissidia 012 had an alternate costume for Tifa as an Amazon pre-order bonus, and an alternate costume for Cloud as a Gamestop bonus. How do they expect us to choose just one?

They're okay sometimes but most of the time I think all stores should have the same pre-order bonus

I'm generally fine with them since I order from whereevers doing the best deal.  I used to like to use GAME exclusively for the points, but in comparison the points I was getting that could be put towards discounts weren't worth the amount I would save just buying the cheaper copy.  As such I used the last of my Loyalty points to get £11.50 off KH 1.5 preorder and won't be using it again unless other KH bonuses only come out from there.

I'd be fine with separate preorder bonuses if there was one condition:  They were available as DLC later for those who couldn't get them but wanted them.

It's basically withholding you from content that should be available to everyone, but isn't available to you until you have to buy it some amount of months later. It's a strategy, but it's an annoying one lol

I pre-order for the game, not the bonus stuff.
