(Arsenio)

Strolling down in Times Square, New York, surrounded by the city lights at night Arsenio looked for a book store to check out. He was looking for the oldest, and the creepiest, as generally those had the good spells and potions. He had been doing research after discovering that he was magic, and going from bookstore to bookstore, found that some of the books he could find were actually not that far off from being true spells. Along with the spells and recipes he made himself, keeping in a book he called the "book of shadows," he also would take notes of new additions he found whenever he found a legitimate book with magic contents.

"This just in, the Greco-Hunters have just caught a Minotaur and slain it." A newswoman in a large screen at the top of a building near Arsenio bellowed. "Sources say it was in the fields a few miles outside of Long Island, and the Greco-Hunters chased it down and killed it. We have exclusive footage of the incident." The screen then displayed many hunters driving and chasing down the Minotaur, trying to shoot it with celestial bronze bullets and eventually throwing a net over  it, As one of the hunters unsheathed a large celestial bronze blade, Arsenio could have sworn he heard a whimper from the creature. With one swift swipe, the monster dissipated into dust, and the footage ended.

"There has also been reports of the existence of demi-gods, half human, half gods, and it seems the Greco-hunters are trying to formulate a way to screen for that in people, as they look just like you and me. But more on this story at 11." The newswoman said, as the screen began to show ads again.

Arsenio didn't know why, but he wasn't that surprised as everyone else around him to learn of the existence of supernatural creatures such as that one. It may have been the fact that he was supernatural himself. And this talk of "demigods," could this have a correlation with where he came from? He continued walking as he contemplated this, and began to wonder how he would go about finding the answers that have long been inside of him.

(Winter)

Winter sat on a bullet train in Japan, looking at a file of her new assignment.

"Jin Kaido, 13, mother died due to unexplained events, and Father is a Kaido, the wealthiest family in Japan. Wealth means they're under the spotlight a lot, that can't be good for hiding from monsters."

She looked at the people passing her compartment that she was staying in, and tried to look for a well educated Japanese citizen. Winter had not yet learned Japanese, and she was planning to absorb the language from someone magically through touch. She exited her compartment, and finally finding a Japanese business man, approached him and purposefully bumped into him hard.

"Watch where you're going!" The man said in Japanese.

"Sorry, my mistake." Winter replied in Japanese, having immediately learned it, and having no accent whatsoever.

She sat back in the room she was originally in, and opened her file again. She pulled out pictures of Jin, and began to memorize and study his look, for she was going to spend quite some time looking for him and recruiting him for Camp Halfblood.

(I'll try to have Winter recruit Akito Sikota, that is, if Neokron doesn't try to get to him first, heh heh...)

(Eric)

Eric sat from a ledge on a tall building in New York late at night, close to the Empire State building.

"Look at Olympus, so within reach of the Greco-hunters, and the filthy mortals don't even know it. I feel disgraced to be half mortal myself." He sighed, kicking his legs in a swaying motion. "Although their actions of trying to deal with the Greek creatures and demi gods have worked to my liking, as they've generally only been capturing and slaying Camp Halfblood's lot."

He stood up and paced the roof he was on, back and forth and back and forth. "I've summoned my closest comrades, I do hope they received my message. We have work to do..."

Tharja ran up from behind Akito. A frighteningly quick draw and underhand slice was performed before she skidded to a stop next to Erin. "Sorry," she apologized, face straight. "Took a wrong turn. About made it to Mexico." She held up a smushed taco in her other hand. "Was going to be a peace offering, but too late for that now." She said regretfully, throwing the few bites of goodness to the ground.

Lyss could see the demigods in the forest coming for her the Child of Hecate. She swore under her breath and looked down. "Don't tell them about me, or I swear by the gods, bad things will happen." She said, quietly enough for only him to hear, before running off and escaping into the trees.

(Chiron/Arsenio)

Chiron helped up Arsenio and examined him.

"Are you all right boy?" Chiron asked.

He looked to Arsenio. "Yes, I'm f-" He looked and noticed Chiron's horse half for the first time. He fell to the ground again, scooting back as fast as he could.

"Wh- wh- what are-"

"I'm no different than what you've seen on television. My name is Chiron, what is yours?" He replied, holding out his hand to help him up again.

"I'm, Arsenio. I don't know if I've come to the right place, but I was looking for a place where there are other demigods like me..."

"Ah, so you know of your heritage already?" Chiron asked Arsenio.

Arsenio rubbed his head. "Well, yes and no... I'm not sure which parent is my godly parent, I was left by both parents."

Chiron smiled. "I think I know, you must be a child of Hecate, the goddess of Magic."

He looked to those that followed him to Arsenio. "Well, come on then, we have two newcomers, Jin and Arsenio. we have to make them both feel welcome, and shortly after, we have to get back to business. There are things to be dealt with." Chiron began to walk back to camp, Arsenio reluctantly following. He looked back one more time to check to see if that bounty hunter was still in sight, then looked onward again.

(Winter)

"Alright, next assignment, a boy named Akito." She said, walking down a street and fast approaching Akito.

"It seems that he usually hangs out around-" She froze in her tracks. She saw her assignment, but she also saw two other figures, and they seemed to be fighting Akito.

"They look stronger than mortals, they must be Neokrons." Winter muttered under her breath. She hid behind a corner and waited a bit, deciding her next moves to rescue Akito.

(Eric)

Eric in shadow form appeared somewhere in Los Angeles on a warm night, and leaned against a wall in a dark alleyway.

Another figure stood a bit further into the alleyway, covered by the shadows the walls of the alleyway cast.

"Do you have the information I seek Ezekiel?" Eric muttered.

"You know my oracle work doesn't come without a price." Ezekiel sighed, holding out his hand. Eric tossed a bag of drachmas to him, and Ezekiel smiled.

"I have an answer to your goal of selling out the Camp Halfblood twerps while keeping the Neokrons safe." He answered Eric. "It's called a scrying crystal. When used by a child of Hecate, it will pick out anything you seek out. However, there's a catch, and it's a catch that will work to your advantage. when wearing certain enchanted charms, magic from a child of Hecate is ineffective, so while wearing them you will be invisible when a child of Hecate scrys for say, all demigods that don't join your cause."

Eric smirked. "With the scrying crystal abilities in the hands of the Greco-Hunters, they'll pick out all the demigods against our cause for me. Then, There won't be anyone to stop the Neokrons from taking over the world and enslaving the mortals." He looked to Ezekiel. "Where can I find the charms to ward of Hecate magic, and where is the child of Hecate?"

"Hell if I know." Ezekiel answered. "My job is done, I have nothing more for you."

Eric sighed. "I thought so, alright, i have no more use for you, you are dismissed."

Ezekiel took a step to leave, but Eric moved his leg slightly, and the shadows of the alleyway advanced towards Ezekiel, wrapping around him and keeping him from moving.

"I'm sorry, but I can't risk anyone giving my plans to anyone, I'll make this quick." Eric said in a monotonous tone. A part of his own shadow crawled to his hand, and formed a sword. With one quick swoop, Eric decapitated Ezekiel. Afterwards, he collected the drachmas he originally gave to Ezekiel and doused his body in gasoline, beginning to walk away. He threw a match before he turned into a shadow and teleported away, and Ezekiel's body was engulfed in flames.

Akito disappeared in a puff of smoke. "Gotta love decoys like that." He commented, standing behind his two hostile recruiters. He turned. "Hey! You in the corner! Why don't you step out and introduce yourself!"

Kairi landed beside Chiron, her wings folded back into her pack. She looked at the newcomers shyly, just waving a bit before she began to retreat to the lake.

"I'll be at my shipwreck Chiron." She said before facing away from the centaur.

As they found Arsenio and head back to the camp,he then tries to talk with Arsenio."Hey,nice to meet you,my name's Jin,Jin Kaido.Well, let's just say,i'm more like you, another Demigod...."Jin said as he smiled on him as he want to get along with him."So.....your parents......Did you......get to see them?"Jin asked him with polite and firm manner...

"Not bad." Erin said, turning to face Akito.

She too had caught sight of Winter. This could actually work out better then she had hoped. She just had to play it right.

"But is that all you can do? Smoke and mirrors?"

She jerked her head towards Winter.

"If you would be so kind as to deal with our other guest, Tharja?"

Alexander turned towards the two new Demigods, and decided to introduce himself. "Hey guys, I'm Alexander, son of Athena. You can call me Alex, if you'd like. And your names are...?"

As Jin get along with Arsenio,he then turn to Alexander."Jin,Jin Kaido.....heir of the Kaido Family. To be honest,i don't know who's my God Parents is,nor who is the one that i inherited this power..."Jin said as he then demonstrate to control campfire from the shadows after introducing to himself."So yeah,i don't know if this power was dangerous, but i will use it to protect..."Jin said politely and determined as he mean it.

"Huh... If I had to make a guess, I'd say Hephaestus, but we can't be certain until you're claimed. You'll probably be claimed soon, Demigods are supposed to be claimed at the age of 13, so you'l likely find out who your godly parent is any minute now!" Alexander reassured Jin. "By the way, nice to meet you! You'll enjoy it at Camp Half-Blood!"

(Winter)

Winter face palmed herself.

"I was going to use the element of surprise Akito, thanks for making this more difficult..."

She threw her hands up in the air and her bracelets detached, unraveling to reveal the celestial bronze whips. She spun around rapidly and jumped up in the air, grabbing her whips and lunging towards Tharja.

(Chiron)

Chiron nodded to Kairi and waved goodbye to her, then turned to the remaining others.

"You may all settle in to your cabins and converse with each other for a while, I'll take our new guests Iris and Fantasia and find a room for them in the big house." He began to trot back. He thought it would be better for them to relax, and get comfortable with each other, before they began their mission.

(Arsenio)

He first looked to Jin. "Well, no, I don't think I transfer either of my parents. It would make sense for my mother to be Hecate, I discovered a while ago I could cast spells and use potions... But I'm actually more curious than ever now to know who my birth father is. I've tried to use spells to find both my parents, but none have worked so far. I never figured out why, I mean I'm not perfect at spellcasting yet, but location spells aren't that difficult, at least for me..."

He turned to Alexander.

"Oh, and I'm Arsenio, nice to meet you." He replied with a smile, happy to see that he finally found a place where he was welcomed.

"Nice to meet you too, Arsenio!" Alexander grinned back. Meeting new campers was always one of his favorite things to do at Camp Half-Blood. "Oh, Chiron..." Alexander turned to Chiron. "Where are these two going to stay for now, since they haven't been claimed? The Hermes Cabin, I'm guessing?"

Kairi settled down into her shipwreck, the wreck of a civil war ironclad that she had taken over has her secret place. She had told Chiron where it was, and otherwise remained hidden there. She was always alone really. No one seemed to want to be her friend...maybe that one girl?

Kairi sighed, twisting her cap in her hands.

Maybe her mom would stop by the woods tonight.

Halfar eventually made it to Camp Half-blood, and saw Chiron heading towards the Big House. "Chiron!" called Halfar as he ran over. When Halfar reached Chiron, he saluted. "Halfar reporting, sir." said Halfar.

Matt soon found a place to camp, though he didn't know that it was close to Camp Half-blood. "Phew, i didn't think i'd be able to run fast enough, still, it's good i found a place to camp, and it's away from that other camp Halfar speaks of, what was it, half-blood?" Matt asked himself, as he didn't know he camped right near the home of the demigods.

"I may as well make things fair." Akito commented, extending his staff and lunging at Aaron.

Erin, with the grace and speed akin to a natural dancer, batted Akito's staff to one side and delivered a jarring head butt to Akito. She then backed away, grinning.

"There is no fair." she taunted. "Only those who grow strong enough to win."

She advanced, careful not to give Akito any momentum to use against her and began to prob his defenses with strikes from her axes.

Tharja smiled grimly. "Gladly." She replied to Erin. Tharja brushed her fingers on her sword. Three solid feet of cold Stygian iron. The mere presence of it would steal any unprepared mortal's soul. With a pommel encrusted with a large diamond and a grip of Cerberus' tail fur (She liked brushing the big mutt) the sword was amazing. She smiled giddily at the thought of death. This poor satyr had no idea what she was getting herself into. Tharja raised her blade into a striking position, and whispered in greek. "Skoteini floga." The midnight black sword erupted in dark flames. She started forward... and bam. If you blinked you'd have missed it. She had deflected the two whips off her blade and ended up very close to Winter. "I know some cyclopes that would love some delicious goat for dinner." Tharja whispered darkly.

Owain barged into and through Alexander. "Hello new campers! It is I, the almighty and wonderful Owain! I live here at camp almost year-round, and new faces are always welcome." Owain blurted out loudly, his small speech ending with a boisterous laugh. "As long as you don't get in my way that is!" His voice had a hint of a threat, but his large smile would remove all doubt of that.

Lyssa watched from the shadows as the demigods ran excitedly to meet their new ally. Perfect. They had no idea that they woul be leading her to their basr. Once she gained that key intel, the game would change.

Jason was sprinting through the woods looking over his shoulders.  Bullets were flying behind him as the Greco Hunters were behind him firing.   Jason then charged as they reloaded.  He swiped his Scimitar through the Greco Hunter and then stabbed him in the stomach where he had a burst of lightning surge into the enemy and explode loud enough to cause a ruckus.

Kairi was in the woods now, and bent over to pet a wolf between his ears.

"Hey Khio. Find any cats?"

The wolf barked happily as her mother, Artemis, stepped from the trees.

"Kairi."

"Mother."

Artemis looked younger then her. Which unsettled Kairi, to be frank. But she still remained respectful...and a bit fearful.

"My daughter, no need to be afraid."

"Sorry..."

Artemis...smiled. "At least you know who to fear." She looked as another wolf loped up to her side. "Ah...it seems we have Greco-Hunters in the woods...those upstarts everywhere..." Artemis sighed. "I must return to my Hunters. I would take a trip down the river. Maybe stroll through Manhattan. Never know when you'll find yourself near the site of a...duel."

Artemis disappeared into the trees, her wolves following.

Annoyed at her mother, Kairi flew to the beach and dived down to where a hippocampi was waiting.

"Let's go boy..." she said softly.

Damn you, mom. I prefer being alone.

Alexander lost his balance for a second when Owain ran into him. "Did you really need to do that...?" He asked Owain. "And that, folks, is what he does if you DO get in his way." He warned the new campers, although he was really just joking.

(Chiron)

Chiron nodded to Halfar. "Relax, Halfar, we won't be starting our mission until tomorrow, go get something to eat, train, relax. We have got a big day tomorrow."

He looked to Alexnder. "Well, we know that Arsenio is the child of Hecate, so he will go to the Hecate cabin. as for Jin, he will be staying with the Hermes cabin until he is claimed."

He finally reached the big house, and turned to Iris and Fantasia.

"Come along now, we will find you some accommodations." He said, opening the door for them.

(Arsenio)

He laughed at Alexander and Owain, and looked at all the cabins.

"Wow, so many cabins, so many possible demigods out there, I wonder which one is Hecate's..." He said to himself.

(Winter)

A sweat bead dropped from Winter's forehead, and she smiled.

"Well, that cyclopes is gonna have to wait on supper, cause this goat is still kicking!" She pulled her whips back and spun around fast, kicking her left prosthetic leg and hitting her hoof against Tharja, pushing her away.

She looked to Akito. "Come on Akito, we better go now!" She urged.

"No thank you." Akito replied. He held out his arms and a gust of wind pushed him up onto the roof of a nearby building. He saluted the feuding trio before walking off. No need to get involved in someone else's affair. Whoever survived could pick him up later.

Halfar nodded to Chiron, but then remembered what he wanted to ask Chiron. "Chiron, sir, i have a request, i'm wondering if i could allow a friend to seek refuge here, he is human, but he's NO Greco-Hunter....in fact, he openly defies them, and......" said Halfar.

Matt was currently sitting by his fire, but could feel something wasn't right around him. "Oh no, please don't tell me......" said Matt as a few hellhounds and a minotaur showed up. "Of course.......HALFAR, IF YOU'RE OUT THERE, I NEED A HAND!!!!!" called Matt as he got up and started firing arrows.

Halfar heard Matt, as Matt didn't camp far from Camp Half-blood. "And that was him......i'll be right back sir." said Halfar as he ran out of the camp, towards Matt's location.

Erin glared up where Akito had gone.

"You don't get to stay on the side lines." she muttered as her armor activated.

She put her axes on her back then jumped. She grabbed hold of a window sill several stories up and began climbing after Akito.

Tharja staggered back a bit from the sucker kick. She glanced to the side to see Erin and Akito engaging in a chase. She grimaced, and snapped her fingers. "Thanatos Klouvi" she yelled out in Greek. A cage of darkness surrounded Winter. "The cage will disappear in a few minutes. After that, you can either pursue us, which will result in your death, or you can run back to your base. Akito's ours, living or dead. Though," The daughter of Hades brushed her red streak of hair out of her eyes to reveal an evil glint in her eye before continuing. "He'd be helpful to me either way." She finished before taking off at high speeds up the building.

Owain smiled and laughed alongside Alexander and Arsenio. Cool dudes both of them. Inferior to him of course, but nice guys nonetheless. When he heard Arsenio's question, he was quick to point out a cabin. "That one, right over there. Cabin 15 I believe the number is. Why don't you get settled in? After all, war is on the horizon, and a good night's sleep is important." He said, before peeling off towards the original circle of cabins. He motioned for Alexander to follow. Arsenio should be left alone to unpack and settle in.

~~~~~~~~~≈~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Lyssa had been following the trio of boys for a little bit now. Finally, it seemed as if the two campers were leaving. Smiling a little, Lyssa snuck over next to Arsenio. "Listen, I'm going to stay here. I will kill you if you blow my cover. Understood?" Lyss whispered, before ducking into the trees again. She didn't wait for an answer before starting towards where the centaur had gone off to. She made to a large house, and ducked out into the clearing. She cleared her throat and walked up to the half-horse. "Excuse me," She started, innocent as possible. "My name is Lyssa. I'm a daughter of Ares, hoping to join your camp." She filled her eyes with pleading emotion. She was a pretty good actor if she was being honest. How Arsenio figured her out so fast to use a truth potion was anyone's guess, but many another demigod had fallen for her act. "If I could?" Lyssa filled these last few words with begging. She was sure it would work.
